Called before arriving to get my eyebrows done. Once I arrived, I parked in the back and walked around to the front door. Instantly upon opening the door, you can smell that either this used to be, or currently still is a dentist office. There's even a little dentist statue still on the other counter which confirmed my theory. I signed my name in on the list and took a seat in the waiting room. Another female was in a chair on the inside of the office clearly waiting to be seen as well. So I knew I had at least one ahead of me. After waiting about 8minutes, Melody came out and acknowledged me and began working on the woman in the chair. Afterwards, she kindly invited me to the chair. Melody is so sweet. I really enjoyed talking to her. And let me tell you, she did an AMAZING job on my eyebrows. Great work! I can see myself getting more than just eyebrows done by her. I also see 100% why she has returning customers, and now I'll definitely be one of them. read more

Based on reviews, I went to Melody for my eyebrows. Melody is so kind, she listens to her clients, and she did an awesome job threading my eyebrows. She asked me if I do facials and to give her a try, the rest is history! I have been seeing Melody for 1 year now... I was struggling with adult acne and had been going to Ulta, not really seeing a difference. However, after ONE facial with Melody I could see and feel a difference in my skin. Melody knows what she is doing and wants to see the best results. If your not happy, she is not happy. Not only does Melody do great eyebrows and facials, but she has an all natural skin line!! as part of my birthday I treated myself to my very first facial and I also got my eyebrows threaded and my very first lash lift! melody magic touch website was fairly easy to use I was able to book my appointment online. upon arrival I was greeted and given intake forms very shortly after I was taken back and the pampering began the facial was a cool experience because I have never had one I had no clue what to expect. I was going to get lash extensions but she talked me out of it and into eyelash lift instead I wear glasses so I think ultimately the lashes and the glasses don't really work together. also I did not know the frequency that you have to get the lashes touched up all the time and that cost a lot of money. overall I will be back for eyebrow threading and facials! I believe the lash lift worked I can't tell a huge difference but it was definitely worth trying out! she also makes her own skincare line everything is organic and natural so when I run out of facial cleaner toner and moisturiser I am going to be purchasing from her instead of big corporations that are very overpriced! I've been twice, First time I went to get my lashes permed then I got my lower legs waxed. Melody is very nice and friendly and my lash perm appointment went very well. However I was not happy with the end result but I can't say that was her fault? I'm not sure, this was my first lash perm (and will be the only lash perm) and the lashes were so curled that putting on mascara was difficult the first couple weeks post perm. My right eye was was even "fried looking" the tips were in all directions and they looked like they were scorched. Since it was the first time I didn't know what to expect. I prefer my longer semi curved lashes. Lesson learned. Again I don't know enough to say that maybe Melody did something wrong or if that's just how it's suppose to look. I went back a week later to get my legs waxed (again first time doing this) Melody seemed preoccupied this time and almost like she didn't know why I was there. Once inside she brought me back to a procedure room and this was a pretty nasty looking room. Looked dingy and cluttered with sheets covering stuff. Her procedure table is kinda rickety and wobbly. The wax was in a roll on type applicator and she haphazardly put on the wax then removed with dirty looking cloths. The whole process was scattered feeling and wax was stuck to everything and I was sticking to the blue pad beneath me. When I got home I noticed several places on my legs including the back of my calves and a huge strip on the front of my legs that still had hair. I just paid for a lower leg wax and I had to shower and then shave before my vacation. I will add that my leg hair is light in color so maybe she didn't see the hair left behind. But then I think, maybe a better process would prevent from leaving so much behind. Again Melody is very nice and friendly so I'm giving her the benefit with the lash perm but that procedure room is nothing like the spa experience and would definitely not recommend anything that needed to be done back there. Expensive services should yield a healthy environment and I'm sorry but Melody's touch is not such an environment. read more

This is my favorite place. When you get in it is very different than the other salon. It is very clean and nice. Madeline is wonderful lady. I waited for a minute and she took me. Melody is the best at threading in the area. I have been to most places in the Livonia/ novi area for threading and in my opinion Melody is the very best. Least amount of pain, super fast, and understands to keep as much fullness as possible. I also have had a facial/ black head extraction done by Melody and the results are so far lasting. Compared to what other salons charge, she is super reasonable. I took home samples of her cleanser and moisturizer that she sells and I really like them.
