Enter Nurse Leslie at Bella Via Med Spa. From my first appointment she immediately put me at ease, which is saying something since I'm usually gripping the chair like I'm on a rollercoaster. She doesn't try to upsell me after I mention I'm literally only comfortable with the bare minimum. No pressure to get a whole menu of treatments I don't want, and actually listens. She wipes me down with alcohol swabs to satisfy my inner germaphobe before administering my favorite poison (Botox, not actual poison, though let's be real, it kind of is). She's precise without being in a rush, presses on the injection sites to reduce any instant sting, and hasn't hit a nerve (figuratively or literally) once. Best of all? A couple weeks later, my forehead is smoother than a baby's bottom, without that frozen "NPC in a video game" look. If you're in Toledo and want to keep your facial expressions (but not your frown lines) in check, Leslie is the best.

Keep in mind I'd already paid several hundred dollars for this process. I was told a manager would get back to me they never did. i'm sure for simple styles and haircuts or color. They're probably great. But if you can't do the fun colors, just tell a customer that upfront and don't lie to them. These hairstylist had no idea how to do an ombre. The first girl actually left blotches of white in my hair from the bleach. My husband who never notices my hair actually said to me on vacation why are there big spots of white in your hair.

She asked me what I wanted each step of the way and really made sure I was happy with the service before leaving. She even offered to do a touch up wax in a few days for the stragglers which I had never been offered before. She was quick yet took her time where it mattered. The actual service could have been so much more painful but she was so great about pulling the strips and allowing time for me to freak out lol. The lotions and serums they apply to the waxed area are so soothing and I left feeling very comfortable. I don't live here but if I did I'd make her my go-to girl!!!
