Had a couple ppl tell me how much they liked this. Two locations in MKE. Brady street has street parking. Off top, 18% gratuity for dining in, regardless of number in party. I chose crab legs and shrimp appetizer. Garlic butter and lemon pepper mixed with medium spice level. Two corns and two potatoes. Waiter wasn't the friendliest. That probably didn't allow to fully enjoy the experience. Asked multiple times for shrimp appetizer as I wanted them prior to main course. Welp, crab legs came out first, so I cancelled the appetizer. They provide scissors, bib, gloves, and plates for your meal. I prefer metal forks, but they don't have any. The "sauce" was lit. Will go again but will try the other location. An attitude from staff is such a turn off. They are pretty pricey with the gratuity. But I love food and will pay for a good meal.

Selection of seafood is good. Shrimp was nice size, muscles were good and the snow/king crab legs were meaty. Sauce selection and spice, not so much. The restaurant actually ran out of spices and their Crazy Cajun sauce was underwhelmingly not seasoned ? I know that might leave some readers questioning what the heck does that mean but Crazy Cajun was in no way "crazy". I expected to have some lips smacking flavor on the shell fish and it was way under expectations. Service was friendly but they can still improve. I felt rushed towards certain parts of the night and I waited about a half hr to eat.

I really like this place. The food is good. The Pho is soooooo good. I have been there few times I got a mixed feeling with the service. It's 55/45 on the upward trend. They tend to be busy on weekends and holidays, and after 5pm too. I alps like the design. It's original and and different. I would highly recommend this place. Give it a try. They also have huge crab fishing a sort of aquarium, right when you get in the restaurant. Its cool.

I will never forget that day when I brought my dad and sister from Chicago here in this place. We're from the Philippines and always love the seafoods. Since I moved here in Wisconsin couple years ago I was looking for places and restaurants where I could enjoy and make me feel like I'm home and I found this King Crab Shack. The staffs are very accommodating and very good at customer service. The wait wasn't long. I tell yah, it's worth the wait. Lol we loved it so much. And will go back again.

    Projective seafood tray of doom

I saw someone LAUNCH one of these out of their car window over by the Little Caesar's near Locust street. Unfortunately I was behind them the whole time from the "S***Shack" up until, well, the Little Caesar's near Locust. Some nut job coming out of the aforementioned establishment abruptly cut me off and just so happened to turn onto Oakland when I did. The driver then decided that it would be a marvelously novel idea to CHUCK their (likely $89 worth of seafood) platter at my car. Well, it miraculously missed our car (there goes your NBA career, seafood thrower) and landed by, you guessed it, Little Caesar's. Anyway, I pulled over to see what was thrown at me and that's when I found the tray of seafood. It smelled like something had died, come back to life, and died again, but more painfully this time. Moral of the story: the seafood is anything but fresh and people aren't afraid to use it as an expensive replacement for other general throwing items like a cup of soda or a half eaten burger. This city is slowly becoming classier by the minute!

Got food to go and it hit the spot for the most part. Wasn't spectacular with flavor like in the south, but still good

My wife and I came into this establishment at 8:15pm on 3/10/19 and was told we could not sit to eat. when we looked it up it said they was opened until 10 pm. My wife really want to try this place out being we are from California and have had boiling crab so we proceeded to order are food and two drinks when the shift lead Adam let us know they had a party of ten walk in and they refused service to them as well. I am a manager for a franchisee and I see a lot of different places and if it say 10 pm then we should be able to enjoy are meal and especially if your paying $100 tab. We had to eat are food in the car because we didn't want cold seafood I give one star for service and hope the owner or manager reaches out to me because I fill like it was a waste of time and money.

Added 18% for 2 people. Service was bad. Dollar store paper plates

This food is amazing. The reason it gets 2 Stars is because they failed to tell you they upcharge you an 18% service charge automatically. They should have told me up front. 2 people should not have 18% added to the bill. I asked about this and they went into this long soliloquy about how no one tips blah blah blah. I always over tip on great service....Again, probably best seafood in town but I don't like "shady, dishonest business owners....

This was our first visit. Brian was horrible. He catered to his "own" and not the customer. The catfish was HORRIBLE.

St. Paul Fish Market is located inside the very busy and popular Milwaukee Public Market indoor shopping complex downtown. It reminds me of the Pike Place Fish Market in Seattle. The only parking option that I am aware of is metered street parking. The building has 2 levels but the 1st floor is where most of the business are. It appeared to me that St. Paul's is the most popular business there. It is a seafood restaurant and fresh fish market. They have a small sit down area for table service dining or you can order your food to go at the counter. After being seated and reviewing the menu I decided to order the same meal I had over 11 years ago. I went with a bowl of clam chowder for $8 to start and then added a fried grouper sandwich ($16) with french fries for another $2.50. The chowder was perfect. Flavorful, delicious and I wanted more (5). The sandwich also was delicious and satisfying made with quality fish, lettuce, tomato, and bread. However while it tasted very good halfway through eating it the bread bun started to disintegrate and then quickly turned to mush before I could finish. Then I needed a fork to finish it. It got messy and I don't like that in a sandwich. It's only for that reason I give an overall 4 score instead of a 5. The french fries were very good tasting too but I had ordered too much food and only had room for a few of them. The table service was very warm and friendly. I believe St. Paul's is a very good choice for a casual seafood meal but please buy more sturdy buns!

We arrived early and were told seating begins ad 5:00 if you would like to go to the bar.... Went to the bar and had a martini and a glass of wine. Well we knew it was not going to be cheap but I was a bit floored by the tab of $45 with tip and a charge for using a credit card. We were taken to our table which was at the back of the restaurant with a beautiful view and relatively quiet... perfect. Put our orders in with a very nice waitress: Me: 3 Oysters, Caesar salad, Lobster Tails Glass of wine Wife: Chopped Salad, LobsterTails, wine BTW. I love to have wine with a meal and enjoy it by the bottle. However in looking at their Wine Book they essentially triple the cost of a bottle. So to have a bottle of champagne was going to put us out over $150 .... for a cheap one. It was offered by the glass for $28. Bread was very good but with cold butter. Hate that. Chopped salad got a very high mark from a salad critic (wife) and my Caesar not so much. Get the one at Cooper's Hawk. for a comparison. The Lobster was great. $74 seems a lot until you go out and but anything comparable. The serving was generous and well prepared. A complimentary desert was offered and it was Chocolate and Hazelnut. VERY highly recommended. My mind had been set on Key Lime Pie so we had that too. Bottom line: $45 bar + $264 dinner+ $61 tip +$10 parking = $380 Would we do it again. Maybe but it was expensive. Oh I forgot there was a $5 charge for using my credit card. Good Grief!!

The only reservation we could get was 4:30PM but we were excited we were able to get in at any time. Because of the timing, the sun was setting over the water, which was really pretty to see. I got a little confused with where to enter the building and I guess I went in the wrong way because I walked down the dock and entered the back of the restaurant by the restrooms, lol. Barnacle Bud's had a cool decor vibe and moody lighting. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and you could tell she was very excited about the menu and the pop-up experience. She provided exceptional customer service- she went over the menu thoroughly, came back to check on us multiple times, and always refilled our water, which I always appreciate! To start, we ordered wine and the relish tray. Everything on the relish tray was a little too vinegary for me but most of the table enjoyed it. However, the four of us didn't finish it. It was pretty powerful with vinegar flavor. For an entree, I had the salmon with veggies and my friends ordered the lamb chops, carbonara, and a vegetarian friend ordered a plate of Bud's potatoes and veggies. The food was good but I thought mine was very salty. And I'm glad I ordered my sauce on the side. For dessert, the four of us shared the mousse, which had good flavor and texture. Also to note, there were up-charges for veggies, sauce was $3 extra, etc., so just pay attention to pricing if that's a concern for you. Overall, it was a unique experience and worth checking out.

The colors, the well-placed low lighting, the appropriate volume of cajun music ... all done in excellent taste. The waitstaff is INCREDIBLE. They all seem to be having a great time, when it's slow, and when it's busy, which is important to see; plus, they help each other out. Waiters, bartenders, bussers, hosts, food-runners - they're often smiling and helpful to anyone. Not only did our waiter Scotty take amazing care of us (a group of 10 on a Saturday night, all arriving at different times; and he had many other tables besides us), but his teammates helped bring drinks, clear the table, and our deliver our food. Everything was timely, fresh, and as far as I know, no errors were made with drinks or food. We were all quite satisfied with our meal. The reason I give 3 stars is, for some reason I do not understand, near the end of our meal, we heard a man yelling quite loudly from the kitchen area AT OUR SERVER. The man (manager I assume) was insisting that Scotty was not attentive to us (and I can't discern a single reason why this would be claimed). Even if he noticed something we didn't -- it could have been a moment of quiet criticism, but this dude turned it into a screaming fit. And he could not have been more wrong. In fact overhearing this exchange (right around the corner, within full earshot of us and the back half of the restaurant) was the ONLY thing that soured our otherwise amazing experience. We then watched who I assume was the same guy (red-faced and angry) sit down at a table very close to us, and our server return a moment later somewhat shaken up. It was awful. We made sure to congratulate him loudly on his impeccable service after that. I don't know if the manager heard or not. But one can hope. This was not my first time here, but it was the first time I've experienced anything like this. Like I said, the team seems solid, our service is always timely and kind (and often, incredibly FUN) even when they're PACKED, the food is bangin', the oysters are fresh and delicious, and EVERYTHING is well priced & spiced! So we will be back. But we really hated seeing our waiter treated like that. For anyone who doesn't know - waiters in WI currently make $2.33/hour. This is below the federal wage rate of $7.25/hour for the same job. They survive off your tips. If they're good, they're great, and GOD BLESS THEM - they must do what they do because they love people. This manager did not seem to appreciate what he had right in front of him. But we did!!!! My husband decided on the jambalaya, I went with the crawfish étouffée, and we split the roasted Cajun cauliflower as an appetizer. While it's hard for this kind of stew-like, saucy, veggie/sausage/seafood over rice mixtures to present beautifully, everything looked, smelled, and tasted delicious. The jambalaya had a little more of a kick than I prefer, but my husband loved it and my crawfish étouffée had the perfect amount of spice without being spicy. The roasted cauliflower was cooked to perfection and was the perfect way to start the meal. Not pictured is the bananas foster bread pudding that was the perfect way to end it. We both left with extra food to take home and the memory of a wonderful meal and great experience.
