I took a key to get cut, and he charged me 45. I don't think he does bad work, but if he charges that much just to cut a key, you can imagine what he charges for other services. It took him a maximum of 10 minutes to cut it. read more

I needed a new key/key fob combo as the one I had was broken. Joe was able to get me a replacement in about 10 minutes and the price was very reasonable compared to the price I received from the dealership. Very professional and great customer service. Highly recommend! read more

I've dropped in here three times now to get new keys and they're always fast and friendly. I stopped in a few days ago because my fob had shattered and the owner quickly put it back together for me while I waited. Great service all the way. Highly recommend. read more

I stopped by after driving past dozens of times, all the whole knowing I had a key fob conundrum that I needed to fix and then when another issue came up, I stoped by on a whim. They had my battery replaced and put the door in under 5 minutes, at most! It would have been less had I not inquired about another issue I was having, and what they recommended. Seriously, the BEST $10 ever spent! I will absolutely be heading back pronto to have them rekey my other vehicle! read more

These guys are the best when it comes to anything you need done for your keyfobs. Their prices are fair but you can do slightly better by ordering your keyfob on Amazon and bringing it to Keyless Shop for programming only. Fast service and worked great. Used them twice now, and I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Car fob loss led me to this excellent locksmith with a clean, well-lit operating space. While I waited and read my excellent James Michener book,TEXAS, the new car key took perhaps three hours to create from scratch, whereas the dealership I do business with might take a couple days and $200 more in cost. Plus you can pet the dog! Genuine quality with these folks! read more

After speaking with my local Audi dealership in regards to cutting and programming a new key fob, I was outraged at the fact the price was crazy high AND they would have to keep my car for a couple of days without a loaner. I was recommended to Keyless Shop, and couldn't be happier. The staff was super friendly from beginning to end!! The best part is their prices are unbeatable and they had my new key fob ready to go the same day! I will definitely be coming back here for future keys! Come see them, they will not disappoint! read more

Fast service on an aftermarket key for an Expedition, but the $125 price leaves a VERY bad taste in my mouth. I didn't come in to buy a key, but to have one cut. I planned to program it myself. They cut it and said they'd program it. But then said they couldn't because it had the wrong chip in it. So I bought a new one. But I didn't check on the price first. BIG mistake. It was $125. For a Chinese key unit that sells for about $25 on Amazon. I'd expect to pay $60-$80. The good news is, they cut my supposedly bad fob too. I was able to program it in 5 minutes. On a positive note, now I have two new working keys and I'm at $75 each cost averaged for 2 nice, working keys. That's not heinous. But that's twice what it should have been. read more

I wish I came here sooner. I lost my key and so I bought and cut an eBay key before discovering the chip was defective and wouldn't start the car. They charged me only $120 to replace, cut, and program a new one. Took no time at all and the guy was super patient. read more

One of my F250 keys ended up in the street and was run over by a car and destroyed. The Ford dealer wanted $300 for the key and $195 to program it! On top of that, the keys from the dealer are backordered. I called the Keyless Shop and they had the matching key in stock (aftermarket, missing the Ford logo on the back but otherwise identical). Took about 20min to program and cut the emergency physical key to match. Cost $250 so still not cheap, but it was 1/2 of what the dealer wanted and much less of a hassle. read more

Completely unhelpful. If you really need a locksmith, save yourself the headache and choose someone else.

Took in two flip key fobs that I purchased on Amazon to have them programmed and to have the keys cut. They gave me a price of $200. This seemed reasonable, it required leaving my vehicle overnight which seemed odd but I agreed. When I picked up my vehicle the following day, they handed me the new keys cut and working but not programmed. They then proceeded to charge the full cost as if not having programmed the keys was inconsequential. I asked are you really going to charge me the full price for something that is essentially worthless as I already had a working key with a faulty fob. I spoke with the owner over the phone, and his reasoning was that although he didn't program them he had a time investment and needed to be paid. He finally agreed to a $25 break in the cost. Not sure how to proceed I decided to see what the dealer cost would be and it was actually cheaper. They programmed the keys and they now work. I paid Keyless $200 dollars to do something that they lacked either the knowledge or the equipment to do. This is completely unacceptable. If I had the time or resources I would attempt a legal remedy as I feel completely ripped off by them. read more

I was trying to get two Toyota keys cut so I can program them myself but nobody seems to want to do it. One of the locksmiths in Pflugerville recommended these guys. STOP LOOKING. GO HERE FOR FOB/TRANSPONDER/CHIP/ ANY keys in Austin, Texas Coming from a guy who has been fighting with seemingly every key cutter in Austin for two weeks on price, time and location.... a quick stop in here, less than 30 minutes and I was out with two key copies at a fraction of what everyone else charged. Stop messing with the other riff raff and call these guys or come here yourself. The young ones helping run the family trade were very professional and tended to me well as a customer. Keep it up. So felt the need to be responsible and get a legit car key for myself. I had been using my valet for a long time. For months I had seen the billboard for this place on my side of town and forgotten about it but I happened to be off and be in the area and have time for getting a key made. This shop is apart of the Hancock shopping center's Sears and faces East in the direction of the Wendy's. It's just a little business office offering access to Sears from their luggage section. The guy in the shop had the model of key casing and microchip just for my type of car and went right to copying my valet key and checking out my original microchip and case that had broken off. He didn't really introduce himself or tell me about pricing. With pricing I figured since they were advertising being low cost they'd do better with the cost since this place isn't a dealership or garage and he was the only person in this small shop. I go to my car and bring it around to a parking place close to his shop. He walks out and gets out his laptop to program the new key he made. And it worked. No frills, no secrecy, no garage, no wait in the office. Took less than a minute. Go back in the shop get ready to pay for this key and a sleeve for it. The key alone is $125. I was expecting way less. I paid and then went outside and called a dealership for an estimate and they would have done it for $85. TF really? So I guess I paid for convenience but I'm not coming back again. That's ridiculous. read more

This place is a God send! I broke my car key only to find out the chip was broken too. All the dealers had to order the key which would take 2-3 days, cost $223 a piece, had to buy 2 minimum and there was an additional $125 programming fee. We came across the Keyless Shop on Yelp, saw the stellar reviews and figured to check them out first. Only $125 for the key and programming. It cost me $100 to tow but still cheaper then the dealer. Plus they typically offer a mobile service too, the van was just in the shop for maintenance today. Totally worth every penny, left there with a better quality remote key then I had from the dealer, plus they offered 1/2 off same day on a second key. It was also a very fast and informative process! So happy to have had a great experience to an otherwise frustrating week!:) read more
