For this last several months, I've been waking up at 1 AM with headaches. Unable to go back to sleep, even with large doses of ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Also, during this time, I strained my back, which led me to The Joint. While having my back worked on, I told Dr. Chavez about my sleep issue. He took a look at my neck, and noticed that I had some major alignment issues there. He treated that, and as quickly as that night, I finally got a full night sleep. Woke up with no headache. I recently threw my back out and after 4 days of feeling like garbage a coworker told me about this place... desperation to be able to move freely took over and I left work and came here. Dr Doan is who I saw she is very kind and made some suggestions as to what she thought would be helpful so I have been rolling with it! Upon signing their contract. My wife and I were not told everything. We were told this was a month contract and we could cancel it two days before then end of the contract. We tried to cancel the contract and we were told it's a two month contract. They said we have only two more sessions in the second month. So they cut two of our sessions. After my third session they tried to make me sign some papers about Medicare. This is totally unethical and may be border line on a Hepa violation. Why were they looking into my medical. I went in Paying for a service or treatment without any attachments to any personal medical care. I was so pissed off I won't go back for my 2nd month. My wife and I will just walk away. I don't recommend this place. If you do go for treatment make sure you understand their contract. Other wise you'll be paying more than you bargain for. read more

Dr Tracy diagnosed my issue right on the nose!! With no radiology test!! I needed immediate relief from what I knew was a pinched nerve. I just needed my PMD to do the correct test so that I could be treated properly. I went to The Joint to get some relief while I waited on the test results from my MRI. Sure enough after I saw Dr. Tracie, my MRI results came back and it was a C7/T1 pinched nerve just like she said. And I felt immediate relief. I was skeptical at first about being 'crunched' but I'm a believer now!! She even explained to me how this could have happened. Not even my PMD did that. Some people don't think chiropractors are Doctors. They really are. Go get 'crunched' today and feel better. read more

Tbh I was always against chiropractic care. Lol my husband and sister turned me onto The Joint in Vacaville and now I go at least 1x a week. The adjustments help my constant migraines, release a lot of the tension in my jaw and shoulders as well as back pain from life in general. Everyone there is always super friendly. It's nice to walk in there and they remember you! Dr Doan or Dr. Mueen are awesome and will fix you right up. I felt the chiropractors are working for a 3rd party company that are starving for income. I didn't like the environment.

The Drs are good, but the front desk changes things. Today came in to be told you I have to pay, because its an extra visit. If they sell you on a monthly service, to come in weekly. After waiting 25-30 minutes after my appointment time, I received the most mediocre adjustment. I was put in 3 positions, and only received maybe 5 minutes of chiropractic care. I'm really disappointed, especially after paying $55. Although I previously reported the service was "A scam", the practice contacted me to correct their error as to how their services were presented and processed. In addition, they were also kind enough to refund me a large portion of the recent, recurring payments. Although I was happy with service, I was not able to utilize the services due to an unexpected, and newly discovered injury to my neck. Although I stopped going to the office after the time period in which I thought the contract ended, I was still getting billed. In summary, it was a welcomed surprise to have someone contact me and assist to correct the billing matter. It did take some time for the correction; but the office did the right thing by their customer, and they should be recognized for this customer service fix and resolution. In turn, I would recommend using "The Joint" if you do indeed need spinal corrections. Just be sure to fully understand the contract and the services you're signing up to...this way you have no surprises. read more

Dr. Doan is a magician, swear. I went to Joint Chiropractic after having a weight lifting injury last year a few weeks shy from my first trip to Honolulu. After researching my options, TJC was the best fix for my budget. Dr. Doan was very VERY specific with my pain level. She knew the pain I was feeling and guessed how I've been walking based off that pain without me even telling her. The first adjustment I felt IMMEDIATE relief! My pain going from a 10 to a 6! I returned here and after my 10th visit I felt I didn't need it. Anyways, a year later I went to a location closer to work in Walnut Creek. I don't know what it was, I've been to that location when working with Dr. Doan before and decided to switch for commute time and convenience.. huge mistake. I bought 10 more visits and wasted 3 going to a new person.. he wasn't at all thorough the way she was. It felt rushed and I left with more pain before and he said "You should have been better now, you should get an MRI" like what?! My pain went from 9 to 12 to 10 to 9!!!! I called Dr. Doan after that visit in tears. She was so sweet! She said she'd love for me to visit and see what she could do. Y'all.. Y'ALL! Again, anytime with Dr. Doan you WILL feel a change. This was a lesson learned for sure. Dr. Doan and the rest of the team there really care about how you feel and don't rush patient after patient. It really makes a difference! The whole team is great, but Dr. Mueen is the reason I go to this specific one. Decades of injuries from sports make it difficult to find a chiropractor that's able to adjust me specific to my needs. Dr. Mueen is one of two (the other having retired) that can actually provide me weeks worth of relief. Also a great guy to talk to and very attentive to detail. Actually listens to your answers when he asks "What's going on today and what are your concerns?" He will actually pay attention to the problem presented. My husband has been coming here once a week and I just tag along with him. He did sign up for their Wellness Plan and they offer this to all new customers. Yesterday, he finally talked me into trying it. I'm glad I did! The receptionist (Natalie?) not sure of her name but she was very professional and helpful being this is my first time ever seeing a chiropractor. The Doc (she introduced herself but I was nervous and didn't remember it, my bad) she made me feel so comfortable that after she cracked/realigned my body, I felt looser..lol I don't know what terminology to use for how I felt afterwards =) It did take about 30 minutes to sign paperwork and get seen the same day. Thought that was awesome, get in and get out and go on your merry way feeling brand new. Dr. Doan is the GOAT she knows what she's doing, she knows what you need, & works quickly. I live kinda far from this location and have others closer to me but will go to her only. She tells you how you might expect to feel after an adjustment, what to do about it & when to come back. The packages are affordable & the front desk staff is always nice. The place is clean & conveniently located in the Nut Tree. My boss actually mentioned this place when I said my back hurt and thought I would give it a try. The only other time I had any alignments done, I was deployed and it was done by a physical therapist. However, when I came here tonight I was not sure what to expect. The chiropractor (forgot her name) explained everything before she did it and also educated me on why my body was reacting the way it was. It was nice to know she cared enough to do this, instead of just aligning or manipulating my back/neck without any warning. She even told me my neck was stiff and I had no idea until afterward when I realized I had more range of motion in my neck. Thankfully, she also helped with my back pain that was causing me pain to sit, twist and move side to side. Unfortunately, we don't have a place like this near me but when I am back in Cali I will definitely come back to see if I need a re-alignment. I first heard about The Joint from a friend of mine. I have been to a Chiropractor before, but never here. I started having lower back pains and then it traveled to my upper back and neck.
