No attempt to make real diagnosis or effort to identify specific issues. just general cracking... turns out I had a sprained SI joint and the last thing I needed was an adjustment, which they were quick to do. They also were very quick to try and get me into coming 3-4 times per week and purchasing a bundle of appointments for an astronomical price... $120 initial consultation (8 - 10 minutes with actual chiropractor), $60 for every visit thereafter (5 minutes max each time). I went 3 times and have spent more time in their waiting room than with an actual chiropractor. Office was clean though. read more

I read prior reviews and was convinced this place was the one for me. I believe my first initial visit was beginning of this year. I've been attending Vaca Valley 2-3x a week for my back pain, neck pain and right shoulder pain. I explained to both chiropractors that I am an outdoor person and I enjoy kayaking, hiking & traveling. After being treated there for a few weeks. I took a break and came back to tell them I was 17 weeks pregnant. It's been over 2-3 months since I came back to Vaca Valley but the returning appointment process was easy. I was able to get in w/ the chiropractor right away. I struggled with nausea, sleeping & back pain. My first adjustment during my pregnancy was amazing! I felt so much tension released from my back that I started to tear up of how good it felt. Immediately NO pain at all. I was shocked from how much I suffered with back pain to no pain lol! I was so happy to tell my boyfriend that I felt so good after leaving my chiropractor appointment. Best part after adjustments - BETTER SLEEP! I sleep so good! Less tossing and turning! Of course I continue to make weekly appointments and I can't fathom how amazing both chiropractors are to me. The location is easy to find, lots of parking space, extremely clean environment, front office staff are so nice and both chiropractors are the best! I used to get adjusted 2-3 times per week pre-Covid. I stopped going in March due to my own personal health concerns but was in need of an adjustment. I called Vaca Valley Chiropractic and explained that I used to be a patient and asked what their cleaning protocols were (pre-Covid they were cranking out 12 patients per hour across 4 rooms. You were required to put your own paper down on the head rest and there was no cleaning in between patients). The lady who answered the phone said, "what cleaning protocols? They are the same as they were before. We are still cleaning in between patients!" This was an outright lie. read more

I've been to many places close to my home to find the best chiropractor and I cannot find one. Finally, a dear friend of mine told me about this place. I love the fact that it has a lot of parking space and the building itself is very proffessional. They are also technologically trendy and friendly people. I made an appointment to go see these people for some actual treatment for a lower back issue. I have insurance that covers Chiropractic care. Upon arrival I was shown a video, a quick lookover, and then given a sales pitch to sign up for multiple sessions spanning 8 to 12 weeks. I declined that service. To me I felt like I was buying a time sharing investment. They did nothing for me other than try to up-sell me. It was a complete waste of my time. I received a call from them saying I owed them $60 for the consultation, and the fee was not covered by Medicare, or my Anthem Blue Cross insurance, only adjustments are covered. I declined to pay, and was threatened for $60 to turn me into a collection agency. Really unbelieveable! read more

Dr. Moffett and Dr. Lamb are both great doctors. Depending on what day I go depends on which Dr. I get but it does not matter because they are both great people. I used to get that head ache on the first and last day of my cycle every month like clock work and everyone I talked to about it said oh that's normal now I disagree! I use to go here for years and i like it because i got a deal for being low income but now they want the full 50 bucks a pop and theres no way i can afford that so i wont be going here anymore.... Also i just went to another place in town and they charged me less and gave me a message before they adjusted me......At Vaca Valley ive never got a message i just walk in he adjusts me then im out the whole session lasts about 5 mins for 50 bucks.. there are other places that will give you more for your money...... read more

Wham Bam, thank you Ma'am! Definitely not an office if you are looking for personalized treatment and care. I am new to the area and this office was recommended to me- but after having to watch a 5 minute video about the dangers of living life without chiropractic care, I had a very short consultation and quick adjustment. The Dr recommended I come to one of their weekly movie nights where you can learn more about living healthy. He also advised that I come 3x a week for 2 weeks, then 2x a week for 2 weeks to see if my imbalance improves. (that is rather expensive w/o insurance) When I asked about stretches or exercises I should be doing at home in the interim he told me that is what the movie night is for- it would show me what I should be doing. I was put off by the generic approach to my ailment. I have been to other chiropractors who give far more personalized information and course of treatment. Too bad! The office is beautiful so you definitely see where the $ goes! read more

This is literally the best chiropractor I have ever been to. I've been dealing with decades of back pain and Drs Lamb and Moffett have taken my pain away. They definitely have mastered their craft. They really pay attention to the needs of the individual patience and obviously take pride in building relationships with their clients. The atmosphere is welcoming and positive. I had a fall from a rope swing and hit my head. I was getting headaches everyday for 5 months. After my first visit my headaches were gone. The doctors are great and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Twice a month the doctors have an information "seminar". They are so full of knowledge regarding the health of the body. I went to the seminar twice to soak up all the information. Not only am I making changes that relate to my spine. I have been seeing Dr. Moffett for chiropractic care for almost 3 years and have had such a wonderful experience! I suffered with daily headaches for six months before I had my first appointment with him and since seeing him for regular adjustments I no longer suffer from headaches. He has also helped me work through neck and shoulder pain and random aches and pains as they come up. At one point I started having a popping in my thumb and couldn't bend it all the way and when I went to my primary care doctor they said it was not fixable and that they could give me a medication for it. The next day I asked Dr. Moffett about it at my regular adjustment appointment and he fixed it for me right there and I haven't had any issues since! I have also seen Dr. Lamb for a few adjustments and he is wonderful as well! The whole team is very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating!
