The whole team of Blue Ridge Chiropractic has been so amazing since day 1 to the completion of my care. The location is inside of a plaza located across the street of the VPD so I felt safe parking my car in the parking lot - especially during the late night hours. My initial thought when visiting Dr. Zach was that I didn't need a chiropractor but as my body started to show the pain I knew I needed adjustments and stretches to help me on my journey to recovery. I know I've missed a few appointments and for that I could feel my body telling me that missing those appointments was a huge mistake. The lobby area is clean. They offer water bottles while you wait as well as an option for a massage chair and body wave massage. While waiting, the receptionists were all very friendly and kind. It was a great vibe to see everyone working together. Dr Zach was awesome. There was a moment were he did go on paternity leave however he was able to find someone to substitute for his appointments - and with confidence he said that he knows the person that would fill in is just as qualified - if not more so I felt at ease when he was away. There was a moment were my hip join and leg was really hurting and Dr Zach referred me to his massage therapist Fattima. She was wonderful! It's nothing like going to a everyday massage parlor. She walked into the room understanding the pain points, felt and understood how to work out the kinks and gave me very clear instructions on how to maintain the pain from home. I've referred Fattima to many friends and family and they all experienced the same quality craftsmanship. Dr. Zack and the staff at Blue Ridge are absolutely amazing! I've been seen by them for going on 2 years and every time I go in, I am greeted with a smile by the receptionist and promptly checked in and given the status on my appointment, be it I am there early, Dr. Zack is ready for me or if there is someone ahead of me. Dr. Zack has always been forthcoming with any questions I have with his adjustments and what isn't quite right or needs further attention or if everything is going pretty well. I have had 2 major injuries since I started being seen here. Both times Dr. Zack has been more than patient with my questions and especially attentive to any pain that a certain movement produces. I really appreciate that he uses both the activator, tables & manual adjustments dependent upon the need at the time. In that time I was fortunate to have a great chiropractor helping to manage my back, though with time my back got better and I moved away. After searching high and low for a chiropractor who uses the activator technique of adjustments aka softer chiropractic. I came across Dr. Zack's office, Blue Ridge Chiropractic and he mostly uses this technique exclusively. With my fingers crossed and a tweaked back I made an appointment. Once meeting with Dr. Zack, I immediately was at ease, he's incredibly friendly, has good vibes and a great bedside manner. He listened carefully as I described my problems and understood what course of treatment he needed to take as every patient is different. After the adjustment I virtually had no more pain! I have to say that my back felt almost normal and I was able to move and twist with ease. Wow, he's good. My back pain eventually came back but less than before and with regular visits with Dr. Zack my back is pain free almost back to normal. I've been way too lazy on writing this review, and while I rarely ever take the time to write reviews, I feel this establishment deserves my time. I have chronic pain, especially sciatic, and had been going to another chiropractor for about 6-7 years but didn't feel like I was getting the relief I needed. I reluctantly decided to switch to Blue Ridge, but am so happy that I did!! Dr. Zach is extremely thorough and I have never felt like he's rushing to get to the next patient. I'm now in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and he has been more than knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient for all of my chiropractic needs. The equipment he uses is always clean, up to date, and effective. Not only is Dr. Zach amazing, but I also enjoy working with his office staff. The assistants he has help during the adjustments, whether be it taking notes, using the massager, or putting on kt tape, have always been extremely professional, polite, and cheerful. The front desk employees are very friendly and efficient- always welcoming you to the office and offering snacks, drinks, and if Dr. Zach isn't ready yet, use of the massage chairs. Dr. Zack has has literally improved my life and over all wellness with out a doubt. I've recently had back to back births 17 months a part and c sections to top it off. He kept me in the best possible shape for delivery and after as well. I was able to bounce back so much quicker because my body "knew" where to adjust back to after delivery. Dr. Zack always provides great service and leaves me feeling relieved. For years I was hesitant to visit a chiropractor. I thought, "You go once, then you always have to go. They keep you coming back." So I dealt with back and shoulder pain and paid a ton of money for massages, thinking that would help. It did some, but it never solved the problem. I ran into Dr. Zack one night and talked to him about my issues. He suggested I come in for a visit and we set up a treatment plan. I believe I visited every week to two weeks for a 6-8 week period of time and each time he re-evaluated my issues and worked on correcting them. Each time, I left feeling like we were getting somewhere (finally!). One day, he said we'd done all we could - just come back as needed. I think I've been back about five times over the past two years for random adjustments, usually when I've slept funny or have been camping and on an air mattress. Dr. Zack always solves the problem. Never have I felt like he was trying to keep me coming back just to stay busy (or make money). He was genuinely concerned with correcting my problem, always had reviewed my past visits prior to my arrival, and had a game plan for the current one. I've heard some stories about other chiropractic offices and my friends feeling like their visits weren't personal. They would have different people care for them each visit, so they felt that they had to start all over again each time. I highly recommend Dr. Zack and the staff at Blue Ridge Chiropractic. I was a true skeptic going in at first to see a chiropractor for upper shoulder/ neck nerve pain but now a believer! I was referred to his practice by a family member. Dr Zack is amazing. The first time I saw him I was laid out on my living room floor unable to stand up because my back hurt so bad. He was recommended by a friend, and after my visit I was not only able to walk, but finish a 10 hour hospital shift.
