I took my engagement ring and two wedding bands in to be sized and soldered together. The customer service was excellent and the rings turned out perfect. The price was very fair, especially for the level of craftsmanship. The turn around time was less than two weeks. I definitely recommend this small locally owned business for any of your jewelry needs. I will be back to browse through their nice selection of jewelry too. read more

Never responded to my email to set up appointment. Disappointed but found a great jeweler else where.

Great service and care. Speedy turnaround for repairs They are all very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful

Very nice staff, not at all snooty, as I've run into at other fine jewelry stores. They quoted me a very reasonable price for repairing a couple of prongs on my wedding ring, had a quick turnaround, and let me know when it was ready--earlier than expected. I was especially impressed that they don't inflate their prices just because they're in Mill Creek Town Center. (Well, their repair rates aren't inflated; I have no idea about their retail rates because I've never bought fine jewelry outside of my wedding ring.) I recommend this store and I'll be back the next time I need my ring serviced. read more

I cannot recommend Barb at The Jewelry Source enough! We travelled via car and ferry to meet with her. Her customer service is exceptional as is her equally extensive knowledge base. We explained what we were looking for as well as our time line and financial status. Barb pulled out paper and pencil and immediately drew up a fantastic ring! It is absolutely beautiful. When we returned for a second purchase, Barb again knew EXACTLY where to go to find us options that were PERFECT. The Jewelry Source is well worth time time to go a little bit off the beaten track for your needs. You won't be disappointed! read more

The people who work at the Jewelry Source really care about giving the best customer service. They spend time talking to you about your Jewelry or Jewelry you are looking for. I had several things done there. Jeanne told me which of my pieces were worth appraising and she took care to appraise 5 pieces of jewelry. Her appraisals are very detailed. She also gave me "ballpark" estimates on my other jewelry. I was happy to find out a few of my bracelets were worth more than expected. Barbara showed me some fun vintage items. Mem helped me figure out how to restring a bracelet with missing pieces. Most importantly, Mem showed me a perfect Ruby Heart Pendent that was exactly what I wanted - even though I didn't know it! She did. I got a great deal because it was in the Estate Case. read more

We used The Jewelry Source to resize my custom-made engagement ring and then to design and finish a custom wedding ring to fit alongside our engagement band. Maria and the team at The Jewelry Source were so knowledgeable, kind, personable, and efficient. I truly felt like they were invested in how much we loved the outcome, and they provided such amazing customer service. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area! (Or outside of the area! Great customer service and excellent workmanship. We brought in jewelry to repair, gold to sell, and a custom ring design. We worked with Todd for the repairs, he was kind and informative. My father passed this year and gave me (one of four daughters) a gold ring with his initials carved into it as a keepsake. My Dad was very attentive in life to keeping gifts amongst his children fair and equal, so even though I knew that he wanted me to have the ring (my name is based on his initials), I hated the idea of the ring being tucked away instead of worn. I decided that the most honoring way to keep this large gold men's ring was to have it made into 5 women's gold bands - so that each daughter and my mother could daily wear the same gold that Dad had worn for so many years in life. Enter Todd at the Jewelry Source. I brought the ring in and Todd reassured me that it would be no problem to make custom pieces with the very same gold from Dad's ring, we would just need to add more gold to get the quality of product and number of bands I had requested. Always a skeptic, I requested that Todd have the jeweler actually take a photo of Dad's ring as it melted in the crucible as I wanted to be sure that our family heirloom would not be lost to metal recycling. Todd assured me that this would not be a problem so we got to work designing the gold bands in exactly the way I wanted and with my Dad's signature and sign off symbol engraved into the inside of each band. Weeks passed and I anxiously awaited the finished rings - always a bit worried that the photo I had requested would be "impossible" or overlooked. Then Todd called to let me know that the rings were in. I asked if he had a photo for me and he said he had something even better - a VIDEO of the start to finish process of incorporating Dad's ring into the gold to create the 5 new gold bands! It was amazing and special and when Christmas came around, I was able to share the video with my sisters and mother as each opened their gift: a custom made part of Dad's ring. I really could not have hoped for more. I am so pleased with the attention to detail and personalized experience that I got with Todd at the Jewelry Source. THANK YOU! read more

Very friendly and completed the work ahead of promised. I will definitely be coming back.

The Jewelry Source is without a doubt, absolutely amazing. From customer service, to care for the jewelry. They are up front and honest, non judgemental of choices and give their honest opinion about what to do if there is a question. After fixing and essentially remaking my wedding/engagement ring, Todd even threw in a special thing of handing the ring to my husband to surprise me with it - so incredibly thoughtful! He knew us by name and face without second guessing - we truly felt cared for. We are planning on going back for all needs, cleanings and gifts. They have a lifelong customer! read more

They did a nice job sizing my ring up from a 7 to 8. My one suggestion is to make sure they quote you the right price (ike, white gold rhodium charge) instead of getting a call that it was actually going to be $70 more. read more

I needed two rings repaired and resized. They knew exactly what to do and got it done in a timely manner. One is an antique and I worried that it wouldn't look the same-they had to refurbish the stone and reset it. My rings are beautiful. I am so pleased with the work they did. This is a family owned business and I recommend them 100%. They are so kind an friendly. I love that they remember me when I come in. It also doesn't matter if I am just there to have a watch battery replaced or some little thing done. It always feels like they are happy to see me. read more

Not sure where to begin on what a great place this is. I came here to have my grandparents jewelry made into a ring and I met Maria and showed her a picture of what I kind of wanted. I felt welcomed and she took my picture and had some pictures created and I was so impressed. Then the jewelers actually created it and it was amazing beyond the pictures I was shown and much more amazing than anything I had ever envisioned . The service here is impeccable and they are truly amazing and you can tell really enjoy what they do. This place is a gem ! Thank you Maria and the jewelers at the the jewelry source ! read more

I'm not very happy with the Jewelry Source. I've stopped in before and was highly impressed with the customer service I received. I had never purchased anything, but was more than willing to return based on how the employees treated me, plus I like supporting a local, non-chain business. However, I will never return to the Jewelry Source again. My boyfriend took a ring to get it re-sized as a Valentine's gift. When he called in to ask about a re-size he was told it would be around $40. The manager also asked if he wanted it rhodium plated and so he said sure. He said it would be a little bit more with the rhodium plating. When my boyfriend picked up the ring, the total cost came to $112.00 with tax. The manager said it was because of the rhodium plating and that something came loose with the stone. I called the manager and he said that he told my boyfriend it would cost more and that gold and rhodium plating is expensive. Fine, but don't quote something like $40 and then charge over double when he goes to pick it up and blame it on the rhodium plating. To me, it's pretty deceiving. The owner said that he only told my boyfriend that it wouldn't be anywhere near $150 to have it taken care of. Is it just me, or is $112 a lot closer to $150, than $40 is? I also called around to other jewelry places, and was told that resizing usually around $40 and includes rhodium, and that it only costs more if there are some issues with the integrity of the ring or prongs etc. In addition other places I spoke with said that once they quote a price, they don't ever charge more and even with issues the price is never near $100.00. Lesson learned. read more

The Jewelry Source is the ONLY way to go. My sister in law got her wedding ring/band here and her mother have been going to this jeweler for over 20 years. My husband picked out my engagement ring and wedding band from here. Since we live in California he told Micheal (the best jewelry salesman there is) when he'd be back in town and what he was looking for. On the next visit, my husband met with Micheal and he had diamonds flown in from various places so my husband can pick which diamond went best with the setting he'd pick out. And I must say, he did an amazing job! I get compliments on my ring all the time. I also bought my husband's band here as well and it turned out magnificient. I love this place so much that we always go back to get our rings cleaned when we're in Seattle. Once you trust a jeweler, don't go astray. Hold on to them like a good hairdresser. They're hard to find! They carry Simon G.!!!! Unique, classic and classy. Who's Tiffany's?? read more

You will get a straight deal with Todd at The Jewelry Source. Several days ago my girlfriend and I went into The Jewelry Source in Lynnwood to sell some old gold and diamonds. As we walked in we were immediately greeted by Todd. He invited us over to the counter and we sat down and got to work. Todd didn't skip a beat in our conversation as he meticulously inspected the jewelry and he effortlessly sorted our pieces into appropriate karat weights and values while he got to know us on a more personal level. He seemed genuinely interested in our lives and that makes any situation a lot more comfortable and a lot less cold. He was also very up front about how he valuates pieces, even going so far as to show the computerized report from his diamond network regarding the value of our stone. One thing I couldn't help but notice was the fact that many of the customers who were walking in were greeted by their first names, which tells me that this is a business that takes their customers seriously and has a good amount of repeat business. Once our metals were priced we were given as much time as necessary to decide what we wanted to do as far as selling, trading or keeping our pieces. He even poured me a cup of coffee while I waited; A very nice touch. After making our decision about our pieces we received a check on the spot without any hassles at all. Knowing how this could have gone I entered the situation cautiously optimistic because you hear horror stories all the time about jewelers. But this was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be coming back to Todd at The Jewelry Source in Lynnwood again and you should too. read more

I would like to know who is giving these glowing reviews .This place is overpriced and a rip off .I had a ring repaired here about 8 years ago ( the repair price was double what I was told) it broke again so I took it to another shop and they charged me half what these people did 8 years ago and said they would stand behind it . Also I took some gold I had in to see what they would give me a while back, I got double from a place down the road on the same day. So much for spot pricing. Update: I am raising my rating as my daughter has a ring repaired here and it turned out beautiful and the price was fair. Things may have changed since I did business here I hope so as this is nice very store ,not a chain and it is easy to access . read more
