Wow! My husband and I just got dinner tonight at the Jetty, on Ocean Street in Brant Rock, and it was AWESOME!! Their $15 Thursday night deals include delicious, marinated steak tips, either paired with crispy French Fries, or served on top of a fresh Caesar salad loaded with Romaine, croutons, shaved parm and just the right amount of Caesar dressing. Delish!! And the other meal deal is the chicken parm--which is a huge serving of delicious, lightly breaded chicken over pasta--enough for two people!! As always, we had great service from our friends Brittany and Wendy, and the live music just added more pluses to the evening!! Highly recommend!!

Last time we were here our food was mediocre so we haven't been back for sometime. They had a special on Saturday of $1 oysters and $15 steak tips and fries so we thought we would try it. I don't eat oysters but he does and he enjoyed a dozen of them. The fries were hot and delicious as were the steak tips. Only one complaint.. mine were more well done than medium but still tasty and tender. Wendy was on the bar and on her game making cocktails and serving hot meals at the same time.. I saw her running at times from the kitchen with food in her hands to deliver it hot as it should be so kudos to her. Hope management knows how valuable she is to their business.

    A terrible cape cod Ruben

This place isn't worth your time or money. We went to this place recently and we were seated quickly. After that we sat there for almost 10 minutes before anyone came over to us. They use their side parking lot for outdoor seating. There was junk all over the place. I wish we just left and to put it lightly the entire experience was terrible!!! My wife got the chicken tacos and the chicken was tough and over done but she ate it because she was hungry and didn't want to wait for something else. I got the cape cod Ruben which was mostly just bread and a very very thin fillet of haddock with a thick super greasy coating. This was also way overdone. I tried eating it and it was just a no go for me. When the waitress finally came over I told her, showed her and, she was like oh. I will send my manager over she said. The manager came over and said she was sorry and asked if I wanted anything else which at this point I declined. A short time later we received the check which still had my meal on it at full price!! I asked the waitress what was up with that! She again sent the manager back over and she said it looks like you ate at least half of it so the owner didn't want to take it off your bill. Wow, I said! Even she said it was wrong and not a very good business practice. I should have known a place that has terrible reviews was gonna SUCK and I was spot on! I hope this review was worth the $18 bucks my sucky sandwich cost for this terrible establishment.

    La Scala Salad

Bad food. The Buffalo tenders were heavily breaded and doughy. The cheesesteak egg rolls were dry and lacking flavor. The La Scala salad was made with plain, canned ingredients and it needed more dressing. Also, the Parmesan crisp tasted burnt. The service and ambience were good.

My husband and I were in Marshfield today and stopped in at the Jetty for lunch. They have a really cool outside patio area, which we have never been seated at before. We have eaten inside at the Jetty and stopped in for cocktails when staying in Marshfield. Today was so gorgeous, that sitting inside was in no way anything we wanted to do. The environment on the patio is lively, energized and fun. They even have a stage for live music! We ordered one of the "grill" specials, which consisted of two skewers, grilled corn, two oysters and a slice of watermelon. The street corn was some of the best we have ever had before! Delicious. The skewers were so good, that we ended up ordering more. We had shrimp, chicken and beef. They had grill marks! We love that. The chef was outside on the patio cooking everything right in front of us. We had a really great conversation with him both during our meal and after. Made for a perfect experience. We will definitely be back before end of summer!

MESS at "The Jetty" Marshfield, MA. HINT: DON'T GO THERE.

First time we've made it to opening day (April 1st) and it did not disappoint. They've added a beautiful and innovative pergola style dining area just outside the doorway. The area is heated, has louvered roof slats that can close during inclement weather, and has LED lighting that can be adjusted (color and light level). A wonderful addition and certainly welcome during those sporadic times when showers pass through. Food was fresh and well prepared. Staff was attentive and took great care of everyone. So nice to see so many familiar faces (staff and guests). Looking forward to the 2026 season.

They have made a new outside area that is beautifully done and has made the restaurant even more desirable because you are basically sitting in the marina with the ocean at your side! Anyway they always aim to please.. doesn't get any better than that! Thank you to the entire staff!

I visited the Fairview yesterday with my girlfriend. It was my first time, but she had been there…read moremany times in the eight years she's lived nearby. When we entered, she introduced me to the young woman who greeted us and another woman, a waitress, who was standing beside her. My girlfriend introduced this waitress by telling us "she called me the n-word to my face". I was surprised and did not know how to react. This woman responded with "that was a joke". No apology, but an acknowledgement that she did actually say it. There is no context in which it is ok for her to use that word. There is no situation in which it is ok for her to say that to a woman of color DINING AND SPENDING MONEY IN YOUR RESTAURANT. There are many ways that a person can address the fact that they've said bad things in the past. "That was a joke"is not one of them. It's certainly not how it should be handled at work. There was no dispute that she said it. "You are a n*****." When called out, she said it was a joke. She did not say "I'm so sorry, I still feel awful", or "I'm so sorry I upset you", or even "I would never say that". Instead, she defended herself and her words by claiming it was a joke. It's not a joke and it never was. By saying that, she was letting me know that, while at work, there ARE acceptable uses for the n word. There are not. Do I need to say that I don't want to eat at a place where I might hear racial slurs? The waitress did not deny that she said it and she did not apologize. She defended herself and justified it. Saying it is disgusting and justifying it is disgusting. I have no suggestion for how to resolve this. Your waitress could have simply acknowledged that it is always wrong. Instead she chose to blame my girlfriend for taking it personally and not "getting the joke". Please clarify your position on when it is, and is not, ok for your staff to use racial slurs. If you think "it was a joke" makes it ok to look right at someone say "you're a n*****", you are wrong. It is indefensible. Allowing and defending this behavior is disgusting. Please take some action to show you understand.
