I purchased a dress from their online boutique which I needed to send back because it ran much too big even though the site stated it ran true to size. I was informed that they do not provide exchanges and returns are store credit only. When I initiated the return I found out I had to pay to send it back AND I'd lose what I originally paid for shipping; so I received a $50 store credit for a dress I originally paid $66.79 for. I reordered the dress in a smaller size and had to spend an almost additional $30 to reorder the exact same dress in a different size, as I lost the first time purchase discount and had to pay for the difference added on by taxes and shipping fees. Store credit only is usually a deterrent in itself, but having to pay return shipping fees, loosing original shipping fee paid AND not being able to exchange for the exact item is simply unfair to customers. Not to mention that the quality of the dress I bought is waaay under the marked price. I would never order from this site again, nor would I recommended to anyone. read more

Terrible experience with the online store. Ordered two items and both were very different in regards to color from the website pictures. I ordered a dress that was supposed to be blue and it was grey. I ordered a sweatshirt that looked pale pink, but was tan. When I contacted the store, they told me I could pay return shipping. Since the colors were clearly not as pictured, I didn't think I should have to incur the expense to return them. They don't stand behind their products and the service is awful. read more

Stupidest return policy they won't take your online returns in store. I drove 30 minutes to exchange a pair of jeans. It does state on the return policy on the receipt but I didn't read it's my fault but that is a dumb return policy! You have to pay to have your items shipped to you and you had to pay to have the items returned. I will not shop here again. read more

Young employee named "Mia" at the San Antonio Alamo Heights location is extremely unprofessional and gave me lots of attitude. I was a first time customer and bought 150 dollars worth of clothing that I had less than 24 hours before deciding to return. When I went into the store I was unaware of the stores policy of only refunding by providing customers with store credit. Shocked by this realization instead of being understanding by my frustration (considering I do not nor ever will shop all that store again) the "manager" "Mia" had a condescending tone and started to state all the locations "impeccable pig was located" and rudely exclaimed that the extremely small sign that notified customers of store credit returns was presented on the checkout counter (not visible to a person standing). Additionally, she asserted that the recipient also stated the credit store policy but when I purchased this clothing the printer was NOT working. Be aware before purchasing an item here. You can except how frustrated and underwhelmed I am from shopping here, considering this purchase was withdrawn from my personal debit account and I am a full time law student. read more

The clothes are three stars at best now. Great if you're in a sorority and need formal dresses or quite trendy if you're a St. John's/Kinkaid student. There are occasional finds though so I haven't downgraded it further. I wouldn't be so tart about the place if it weren't for the incredible rudeness by a sales associate yesterday. I came to return an online order and had the price tags on the items still. While I admit that I wasn't in the right about returning items after 30 days, she became condescending, made several mistakes and grew passive-aggressive about it and kept running to the back of the store to speak to the manager instead of staying up front with the other associates. She probably wanted to kvetch about me as well. Even when the customer isn't right, you can at least be polite about it. She was incredibly rude. The other girl was very sweet and kept apologizing both for the policies of the store and the woman who was "helping" me. Finally, if you're shopping here, you should know just how lame the return policies are. I was told repeatedly by the same salesgirl that these are "common to boutiques." I didn't want to say that it's becoming more and more of a stretch to call the Impeccable Pig "a boutique," and that she could save her knowledge. I've shopped several boutiques and know that The Impeccable Pig's policies are terrible, comparatively. Here they are outlined: -There is no such thing as a return. You only receive store credit. This is both at the boutiques and on the website. -You only have seven days to receive store credit on any returned item. -Online items have a 21-day return policy. You cannot return online items to the boutiques. They must be mailed back. I don't like the clothes enough anyway to keep shopping there. Maybe I'll have some store credit by the time this is all over. I really don't care. They can keep their 2012 mint chevron sundresses for someone else. read more

As cute as the store is and the odd number of employees to customer ratio, which did make for good customer service, I have to disagree that the price point of the clothing is reasonable. For the material and quality of the clothing, there's no reason that a top should cost $55+. These aren't brand-name clothes...they basically slapped their namesake on the tag in order to justify the retail cost. I found the same top in another color just around the corner at another boutique $25 dollars cheaper than the Impeccable Pig and even cheaper because it was on sale. I even recognized some of the dresses being sold as ones I have found online at places like necessaryclothing.com for a whole lot cheaper. Also, I know that the clothes can never be guaranteed as clean, but to witness a salesperson wearing the clothes with the tags on I'm guessing throughout her shift is a little disgusting. I picture sweat and sloughed skin being placed on a hanger and back on the rack. I would only go back to Impeccable Pig if I were in dyer need of a last minute outfit or if they had a sale (Bought one blouse on sale for $15, making it about 80% off original retail. Bought several things online and tried to return a few items to my local store. I was told I had to pay to ship the items back! I was only given online credit so I can't shop and try things on before I pay for shipping once again. Horrible return policy. Won't waste my money on this site again. Clothing is cute and ambience is nice, but had an issue with a return. The store has a credit or exchange policy only-which is posted at their register. However, I talked with the store representative when purchasing a dress asking if there was anyway to return to my credit card instead if it didn't work out with a belt I thought at home. Particularly because the dress was more expensive in cost. She said yes I can return it. Came back two days later to return and a different associate said she didn't even have the capacity to return to card in the store. She called the manager and after a brief (literally only ten seconds of that long) conversation she said there was nothing she could do. Both store representatives were extremely nice but this miscommunication was disappointing and means once I manage to spend the store credit, I won't return to the boutique. read more

I will give them the fact that they have really cute stuff! But I look at the price tag and my eyes grow bigger... $80 for such a dress? This isn't designer or any known brand, it's THEIR brand. I don't think their clothing justify the prices. If you walk around, the other boutiques either have the SAME or similar thing for probably HALF the price. I went in today looking for a very specific item, a solid top, no prints, a fun color, goes with jeans and wedges... For my engagement pictures. The sales lady was so helpful, I told her what I was looking for and she set me up in a dressing room with a few items. I tried a couple of tops on and as she found out what I did & didn't like about each top she pulled more items for me. I finally found a top I loved and she helped me pick out jewelry to match! I was a little bummed that they didn't have wedges (or any shoes) for me to try on... So the sales lady went to the back of the store and pulled her own wedges out of her bag for me to try on with my outfit! I was so happy with the overall experience and had such a fun time shopping! The prices are a little high for my liking (hence the 4 stars) but every item looks like it is good quality! read more

I'm rating 3 stars because I have mixed feelings about this store. I love their selection. Cute finds you wont see anywhere else. There is one dress in particluar I wear that ALWAYS gets complimented. The dress is a cute red/white chevron print priced at around $80 if I can recall. The problem is, the first time I wore the dress the fabric started to get those "fabric balls" (not sure the actual term for that). Now I realize his happens, but not to a dress I paid $80+ dollars. I could have paid $20 at forever 21 for that kind of quality. They have a no refund policy, but maybe I should have said something because my dress didnt measure up after one use. Regardless I still go back and shop, only difference is I wont ever buy anything with that same fabric. read more

Please do not give this store the time of day. They have ridiculous return policies and you can only return for an exchange or store credit. That is fine if they want to operate that way, but they need to be more customer friendly about it and communicate policies to the consumer. I received a gift from my husband for Christmas who doesn't pay attention to return policies because he doesn't shop a lot. He would have paid attention if someone had communicated it to him. They have a strict 7 day return policy. He bought my dress on December 17. I didn't open it until Christmas day. We were swamped until after the new year when I could finally return or exchange gifts. When I tried to return the dress on Jan 3, after things settled down at my house, I was told that it was past the 7 days. I didn't even get the gift until 8 days after the purchase, so how could I possibly have returned it within 7 days of purchase? She looked at my receipt and then changed her answer and told me that their holiday policy was that returns had to be done by the 31st. That was not conveyed to my husband either. Their online return policy is 21 days. It didn't occur to me that they would not have a more customer friendly return policy for Christmas gifts. The dress was a simple black dress that would easily sell. It just wasn't my style. The manager told me that they wouldn't be able to sell it. They would not take it back. A good retail owner values the customer and provides customer friendly service. My in-laws were a perfect example of what quality costumer service should look like regardless of the size of the store, for over 35 years. They ran a very successful retail business and owned over 14 boutique women's retail stores across Texas. Shame on this store. My husband, daughter and I will not give them our business ever again! I use to shop here all the time until I recently started realizing not only how expensive just a simple t-shirt with mediocre quality is but that I really don't care for the employees. Yesterday was the last straw for me. I ran in to just browse and let the 2 employees know that when I walked in. Since I was the only customer in the store I guess they felt the need to force clothes on me. I do not like being "sold" to. I felt like I was at a car dealership and I'm not joking. They wouldn't even really let me look. Then I go in the dressing room and they stand outside the entire time I'm trying clothes on.... handing me more stuff which to be honest I didn't even like. How did they even know my style? They were just grabbing items and handing them in. All the way to the check out counter and out the door they asked if I wanted every single item in the store. I started shopping here at the location in Dallas and was excited when it came to Houston. I have to say I will never ever go here again. I bought a shirt that now I realize I don't even like I literally just felt forced to buy. Not only that but their prices are terrible and clothing isn't near as cute as it use to be! read more
