I ended up picking up some stainless steel dice shaped whiskey stones and a Oaxacan old fashioned cocktail mix to complement their bar cart which they ended up loving. Whether you have a specific type of item in mind or just want to browse, Manready Mercantile has a huge variety of items that you won't find anywhere else. Aside from their unique items, Manready Mercantile really goes above and beyond to help create an experience that connects the customer with their products. They have a custom hat bar with a variety of patches that can be prepared just to your liking and a candle bar where guests are treated to an old fashioned while making their very own candle to take home. While I haven't done it myself, this seems like a great idea to do with a date, some girlfriends, or even your mom or dad. They also do a great job keeping up with their website if you want to order from the comfort of your couch or get a little preview of current inventory before heading into the store. There are many different styles and colors to choose from. I had a little bit of difficulty shopping online, so it was nice to be able to go into the store and actually touch and feel some of the products. I actually found this location as a happy accident as I was walking by on my way to another store. They have several different textures that they use for their shirts, including a more hot-weather-friendly one for spring and summer that I ended up buying. Overall, they have a lot of really fun prints and there's definitely something there for everyone. The store attendant, Jonny, was incredibly kind and helpful in assisting me to find what I was looking for. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile and some small conversation by a nice gentleman who actually asked if we needed something to drink since it was a bit hot outside. We weren't really shopping that day for anything in particular, but I love collecting "weird dress socks" and he had a good amount that day, so I snagged a few and bought them just out of courtesy for their service to our country. I've been back once or twice for some more socks because they usually have some unusual ones that I just cannot find anywhere else. I've bought a couple of graphic tees over the years, never paying more than $15 each despite them looking new. One of them has even landed in my rotation about once a week. Pavement's role as a trendy semi-thrift store works well for its location; I often find myself popping in for only 20-30 minutes, either right before or after grabbing a bite with friends, because that's all the time I need to browse the already-curated merchandise. In short, this is a great place to upgrade your wardrobe without breaking the bank or combing through hundreds of pieces at a time. The chances of walking out with something in hand is still hit or miss, similarly to any conventional thrift store, but I like my odds way better when I walk in here.
