Heading over there, I called again only to find out the mechanic was off on Friday and that the part wouldnt be ready until the following weds. Disappointing as I had done lots of due diligence making sure this was ready, as well as scheduling a mechanic for the install. Took 24 hours to get the pump back that was delivered in a open box in the back of the pickup truck. In all, cost me so much time and energy (and money) for nothing. A really poorly run company, one employee Francisco argues with customers. I took a pump in on…read moreThursday morning, they said they needed a couple hours to tear it down and diagnose the issues. I called back at 11:30 and spoke with the owners son (Tony) he said he had to go to lunch and could I call back in a couple hours. I instead stopped by. The pump was dissembled and Tony told me he could not find any parts. Prior to this I had provided Tony with the manufacturers phone number, the part numbers, and the seal kit numbers, as well as two different suppliers on the West Coast. By 2:00 pm no parts were ordered for Friday and the East Coast suppliers were closed. Into Friday, same issues, by the afternoon I spoke again with Tony he told me the parts alone were $600 not including mark up and labor to rebuild the pump. I went over to Applied Materials (formerly King Bearing) in Long Beach, asking about parts, they recommended me to PTO Sales in La Mirada CA. I telephoned them as I was driving and within 40 minutes was at their location. Within 5 minutes PTO Sales had arranged for all the parts. I found out the costs given to me by Long Beach Hose were quite high. I called Tony from Long Beach Hose and told him to reassemble my pump and have it ready for me as I would be picking it up first thing. On Saturday morning I arrived at LBH at 8:05 requesting my pump. Immediately, an employee called Tony, who asked me if I could wait for 20 minutes. While speaking with Tony, Francisco began to laugh, which made me quite angry and I demanded my pump which was refused to me. After waiting for the better part of 40 minutes Tony arrives on his bicycle, telling me he was doing me a favor by coming in today to give me my pump. The pump was in a plastic box in pieces, nor reassembled as requested, Tony told me that I had called to late in the day and the mechanic had gone home. I questioned him about the pricing of the rebuild kits and he told me his father (Raul) told me "to overcharge him because he was so difficult". Not only were they not willing or able to rebuild a hydraulic pump in a timely manner they were going to overcharge me in the process. Raul called me later in the morning on Saturday and I expressed my frustration to him. Told him Francisco invited me to go somewhere else, (which I will). I expressed to Raul that his business will fail, as he has hired many family members that he cannot fire. Their efficiency and work ethics are lacking. I told him the hydraulics side of the business with repairs and sales ought to be the biggest money maker for him, and I said it looks like it is a money loser. The hose side sells parts, and makes and sells hoses and the margin of profit on a $9 fitting or a $500 repair on a pump are light years apart. It is unfortunate that a once thriving business has degraded into such a poor quality operation since the tenure of Raul the current owner. If I could give them zero stars I would.

The associate saw me pulling in as he was getting ready to lock the door, saw that I needed help, and graciously let me make a quick purchase as well as taking the time to make sure that I knew the features of the tool that I was buying. Effectively they are low budget small rent, and their ability to be true to their word hinges upon you keeping a hold of a small white piece of paper. Even if they don't give you one, it's still on you. The credit card receipt doesn't matter. Only the tiny piece of paper that they may or may not hand you. In fact, it's the kind of place where all sales are final. You may find something for a reasonable price, but you can find that at plenty of other places in the valley that are just the same price but less of a shady experience.

Off the bat she told it's 30$ just drop it off and check it. Ok so I got a call a week later it was 42$ for the washer and install. Also the gas tank had a crack in it which I had patch it with a hardner. New dual gas line and spark plug & $225 more. I deny it since my weed eater started no problem and worked. So I pick it up later at home I gas it up a new crack and it won't stay on. So I won't be coming back and won't recommend it friends and family. Time to find a new repair shop
