What can I say? It's Home Depot. They are all pretty much the same. One stop shopping for all your home improvement and repair needs. This particular location seems to be less crowded than the others in the area and the staff a bit more friendly. I stopped in here during the COVID-19 pandemic to get a much needed part to finish my bathroom remodel. However, they were limiting the number of customers into the store to just 50. One entrance was open and a woman manually opened the door and ticked her counter to keep track of those entering and exiting as not to surpass the 50 person capacity. However, stupidity ensues, as the line/crowd of irate customers (mostly contractors that clearly needed materials so they could get to work) waiting to get into the store defied the whole idea of "social distancing". I guess in these uncertain times we don't always have the best laid plans...smh read more

The layout is the mirror image of The Home Depot I visit most often, but it only required a second to figure that out. The orange aprons were friendly and helpful. We found what we needed, and after reading a few of the labels, made a choice in remote garage openers (serious shit, I know!). After we got it home and read the fine print inside the packaging, I realized that my machines are antiques and several generations behind contemporary technology. Seems 1993 was the cut off date for the latest radio frequency devices, while mine are a few years older. How can such things that still work well be obsolete? So, had to return it today to my local THD, and go with the Genie brand, which, after all, were the ones I installed originally. Only they make the expensive key to maintain their own stuff. Should have the code mastered soon, and have two functioning remote door openers to allow for ease of access and egress for both old and new(er) vehicles. Now I know more than I ever wanted to know about remote garage door openers. Ah, wisdom! read more

I don't frequent The Home Depot too often, but I had some water leak into my car from the recent flooding, and I needed to purchase some Damprid. According to Google I was able to find this at The Home Depot. Their website was able to tell me which Aisle and Bay the product was located in, so I was able to get in and get right out. When I got to the aisle there were two employees , and they immediately asked if I needed help with anything. I was happy that they were eager to assist, and I know exactly where I need to come if I need any home improvement items in the future. read more

This will not be a good review. Every experience at this location is worse than the last. From poorly staffed shifts to poor staff performance to orders lost, crappy delivery services that try to deliver two houses away. The list goes on and on. HOWEVER, there are 2 employees that shine, one is Shaniya and the other is Shawn in millwork and of course a few older people in plumbing plus a few cashiers. I feel bad that these people probably have to rectify issues caused by the sheer laziness of others. I honestly have never seen a store so mismanaged. I'm not sure if the poor performances are due to overworked people, or if the corporate entity is scaling back but whatever is happening in this place is definitely ruining it. I only go there for simple items now. Otherwise I will drive to Lowes. Sorry but your store is uncoordinated, understaffed and/or poorly staffed with mediocre people at best. One guy was wandering around on his cell phone, and when I asked for help he mumbled something incoherent then wandered away. This is the service aspect. Went in today with my Mother to get some plants for the garden and we also got a few other things in the store. The girl in the self checkout line was rude and talked to us like we were stupid. I wasn't moving slowly because I was stupid, I have a sore knee and shoulder. Also, I sprained my wrist at work a few months back and it's just now starting to feel better, also fracture the same wrist in 1994. I can't move around like a chicken without a head. Sorry if that is unacceptable to her. Oh yeah, I've been A+ certified in computers since 2006. I think I know how to work the self checkout machines. Attitude adjustment is definitely needed at this location for sure because this is just one experience I've had there. There are many more. read more

Walked up to the appliance department today with the intention of purchasing a new dishwasher and potentially, a fridge and stove, and the employee was on her phone. She didn't acknowledge anyone until they approached her. When my husband went up to ask about a dishwasher, she acted like he was disturbing her and putting her out. Went to Home Depot today to make a payment on my account. I wanted to purchase a dryer. Only one associate in area waiting on a customer. I patiently waited for him to finish. He saw me, but decided to leave the appliance area. When I approached him, he said " Are you ok chief?." No manners, told him I wanted to purchase a dryer. His comment ," we are on a 2 week delivery. This review is in reference to Home Depot online.. I ordered a patio set mid May and had to purchase the cushions separately. The patio set arrived a few weeks later - as my online confirmation stated. I received a separate email stating that my cushions would not be delivered until July 26th as they were on back order. Then a day later I received an email stating that if the cushions were not avail by July 6th then my order would be cancelled. So I decided to text chat Home Depot .. the text chat stated that they would be w me "shortly". 2 1/2 hours later I text them again as no one ever engaged my text, and stated I would call corporate instead. The rep responded within seconds. I asked if I could order another color at equal cost and was told no. The rep also stated that my cushions would be delivered a few days after my patio set. I asked for a confirmation email and she stated I would receive one in a few days. I waited a "few" days and chatted Home Depot again. I shared screen shots of my prior chat and the new rep stated that I would not receive an email confirmation but the screen shot of my chat would be sufficient. Here we are a "few" days later and no shipping confirmation and no cushions. Oh and check out the way my patio set was delivered by an awesome company by the name of ESTES EXPRESS LINES (I left a review on their page as well). This 200lb box was left on my front lawn in an open box .. my husband had to push it over to my garage. Thanks for your awesomely efficient customer service! read more

Home Depot Burlington #939 2703 Route 541, Westampton, NJ, 08060 (609) 387-8178 This has to be the very worst store of them all ....I place a almost $9000 order for decking materials that was all off the shelf except the rails it was over a month and I never got the delivery on the first date that they offered nor did they meet the second date and I literally live down the street from the store ; I went down to talk to the manager and he assured me that it would be delivered the next day and it showed up at 4pm and the driver dropped the order off the fork lift. I stopped in on the 26 Aug and they rep at the desk said the order has been sitting there since the 22 Aug but no one called me I went back to see the order and told them I could not take it that day due to I was on my way to the military base for work and I would be back. Tow days go by and still no one had called to say the order was in and ready 29 Aug. So I went to the store to pick it up on the 29 Aug and now they have lost it. A 8' pallet of special order PVC railing lost. One person went to look for it and never came back. Second person went to look for it and could not find it and went on to something else leaving me sitting there for two hours as the rep call a third person up to go look for it and he never came back. So now I lost 5 day of work that I took off to do the deck, plus the helpers I had coming over to help and get paid. Now after a month I still have no railings and no answers on where it is. Fair warning never order anything if your not one of their direct contractors because they just don't care about the general consumer. I felt even worse for the other guy sitting there with me that had been there for two hours with me for them to realize that his cabinets that they could not find were actually at the customer service desk behind the wall less than 5 feet from everyone. I would not even give them one star but this program won't let you post without adding a star that they don't deserve. No. H0939-69941 And I use to work at the Homedeopt in Mapleshade before I had to go over sea's in the Army and I have never seen anyone with this poor service this bad. read more

Went to this place today in hopes of getting new windows. I know it's Sunday which is supposed to be a day of rest but I work Monday to Friday, ,so, hey....I get to the window area and there's no salesperson. But there seem to be loads of orange-apron people scurrying every which way so I have faith that the window person will no doubt be back soon. I hang out for a while in the window section but no one shows up. I have actually never gotten new windows before so I'm a little anxious about the whole thing. Eventually another customer comes by and seems to feel sorry for me. He tells me, I wanted help with windows too and I found out one window person called out and another is at lunch, and so on.....so I go up to the customer help desk, where there are 4 orange vest people standing around doing absolutely nothing. One nice orange vest lady asks me can i help you, and she gets on the PA system to try to summon the window person, then she looks at a printed schedule, to try to figure out where the window person is, and she asks the orange vest man next to her, but all to no avail...I thank her and exit. Embarking on a home renovation project is a little intimidating for some of us and I thought it would be good to deal with a big company rather than Joe Blow who has an ad in the classifieds, but this whole experience made me think maybe I should learn to live with the sticky and leaky old windows. read more

Staff at Home Depot was very customer oriented and friendly, deserving of 5 stars! The bad: I bought a new washer and dryer and all was great up until the company they hire to install them (GE Appliances) showed up at my house. They were supposed to show up between 4 and 8 PM but called at about 8:30 PM saying they were going to be late (I asked to reschedule but it would have been three days later) They arrived at 11:00 PM!! To top it off they didn't have a dryer duct to finish hooking the dryer up. I purchased one of these during the initial purchase in store. The second time they had to come they had one job: hook the dryer duct up to the dryer. They didn't bring one to install!! Third time was about 10 days later after the initial installation. They actually brought what they should of had the first time. Due to this secondary company doing the installs I would be hesitant buying a washer and dryer here again. read more

Every time I go to this Home Depot, I regret it! This time I just called to ask a simple question and Ron in plumbing wouldn't even let me explain the situation or what I was looking for. (A toilet tank cover) I barley got the words out of my mouth and he was saying we don't sell those, all I was trying to do was see if he could look at the toilet they have there and tell me the part number on the lid so I could order it elsewhere and he told me I needed to contact delta to get the part number! Seriously, just walk over to the toilet and look under the damn lid! I don't know why I waste my time at that place. Lowes is my normal go to with great customer service! Screw you HD! read more

This review is more for Home Depot Corporate than the individual store that is just blindly following orders. Recently I shopped and proceeded to the checkout counter. I presented my county issued veterans ID card and was told that it is no longer honored by HD. I expressed my dissatisfaction and told the cashier that it was always honored and she replied that HD corporate is tightening up loose ends and no longer wants to honor the ID. I went to home depot with my 3 little ones to purchase mulch and gravel which was easy but also to try and order new shed doors for a very old shed in my yard. I asked someone in passing where I should go to look for these doors and not only did he stop what he was doing and walk over to the area with me but he also assisted in looking up the info. He even came and found me when I wondered off into the flowers section.! Each time we shop at this home depot we have a positive experience and this trip was no different!! read more

The Westampton Home Depot in my humble opinion is as good as it gets. The associates bend over backwards to help any time they can. The department heads are pros at what they do and can literally help with doing anything. Unlike many Home Depots, there are always associates around who will actually walk up & ask if you need help. read more
