They gave us a date and time that was very convenient and showed up on time and sent several text messages confirming our appointment. The technician put our snowblower on his truck and serviced it right on the spot. The cost for the repair was very reasonable and the tech was great keeping us informed what the repairs would be. We would definitely recommend Ray's and will be using them for any of our lawn mower or snowblower needs in the future.

A quick search on Yelp led me to Ray's Mower Shop. Ray's offers an awesome mobile truck service that comes to you. The truck is specially stocked and equipped to handle full repair and maintenance services of Mowers with at least a 30 inch deck,  Riding mowers, Snow blowers, log splitters, Generators, Skid steers, Heavy Equipment, and Forklifts. I called Ray's to ask a few questions after reviewing their web page at https://raysmowershop.com/mobile-sevice The phone was answered promptly as were my questions. The owner's name is actually Henry, and he was pleasant and helpful as we discussed questions and next steps for my snow blower repair needs. Note: Ray's does not schedule appointment dates for snow blower repairs or tune-ups before November. This makes sense, as Henry explained, he recommends you service seasonal equipment at the beginning of its designed season to guarantee trouble free operation. Scheduling the mobile truck service was quick and easy via Ray's web page, confirmation emails and calendar events are sent to the customer. You Do NOT have to be present for the appointment as long as the equipment is accessible on your property. The service ticket is left in your mailbox, and final payment can be handled by phone. Henry was prompt and professional for my mobile service appointment and the repairs were completed to my satisfaction and for a reasonable price. Ray's provides a 30 day service warranty on travel and labor and 90 day factory warranty on parts. I highly recommend Ray's Mower Shop for your onsite or mobile servicing needs. I will definitely use them again.

They picked up the mower and called me several days later to tell me that the blades were wrong. I could not return them because I had them too long so they ordered me blades. I also received an email asking if I wanted a tune-up on the mower. I did not respond because I already purchased the parts and was going to do the tune-up myself. When they called to tell me the mower was done and told me the balance I couldn't believe it. They quoted $80 to install the mulching kit and the bill was over $300. When I questioned the bill they said it was also for a tune-up. I told them I never asked for a tune-up and they insisted I did. They were very rude and obnoxious. I assumed if I didn't pay the bill I wouldn't get my mower back so I paid it. I also requested that I get the blades that were the wrong ones in the kit back. When the mower was delivered the mower they didn't have the blades. I went to their shop a few days later the get the blades and also said I would like the blades they removed since they were only two years old and probably in good shape. They told me they were scraped and I should of told them I wanted them. I assumed since they weren't replacing the blades due to wear I would get them back with the mower. Again the individual was rude and obnoxious. I told them I would of expected them to ask me if I wanted the blades since I could still use them if I needed to. I will never use them again. If you want repairs done at a courteous and honest repair shop don't go there.

It's a smaller farm than nearby Johnson's Corner farm, and they don't grow any food to my knowledge, so it's much less crowded and chaotic, plus cheaper. You can't pick your own berries or apples or anything, but the hayride out to the "pumpkin patch" is fun to do in the fall, and there is enough to do besides pumpkin picking to stretch it into a full afternoon of inexpensive family friendly fun. They have a playground, goats and alpacas, a small maze, plus plenty of food and live music on the weekends. My girlfriend, 11-year-old son and I recently tried their winter wonderland illuminated walking trail which they just started up in 2022. For the three of us, after taxes and fees, it was $57.90. It was a very pleasant night strolling the 1/4 mile trail filled with lights and christmas music, plus the several campfires set up at the end of the trail.

They kind of have this "we're the only game in town" air about them. They aren't big on customer service, and they tell YOU when they will be coming to service your stuff. Even with that, the few times I have used them, the tech they sent out was at least personable. The LAST dude they sent here was miserable. He knocked on the door, and when I opened it, he had an attitude about my fence being locked. (It's locked for this EXACT REASON: service people just open it and walk into my yard. I have 2 dogs that have gotten out TWICE before I added locks to the gates.) So, I unlock the gate and explain the situation to him. He drops a few F-bombs before getting to work. I go inside, and HAND TO GOD, MAYBE 10 minutes later, I look outside and he is gone! I literally thought he left to GET something, because there's no way he finished and left that quickly. So I go outside to check, and everything is unhooked, and yes, he is done and left. I check the controller module, and he left it on, and in the "run" position. Had I not checked, this thing would have been calling for the system to run all winter. The last tech turned it off and unplugged it, before putting the cable away. This dude just barely did anything, then pieced out, with the system still running zone 6. I was SO taken aback, I was like, "maybe they just decided to just leave, and not charge me." Nope. Like 3 days later, I get an invoice for $108 dollars. The ONLY reason I paid it is to have proof that they "winterized it," should the pipes freeze this winter and the system needs to be repaired. Since living here, I've learned that there ARE other lawn services, and I will 100% be utilizing them in the future. Never again for The Sprinkler Company. The only reason it isn't a 1 star is that the OTHER techs they sent the other times, were at least thorough.
