We ordered flooring from home Depot, and they attempted to deliver before the agreed upon date. Home Depot then cancelled the order, forcing us to re order. After the second order arrived, the original order then got delivered again!!??? 3 months later, after all the extra pallets of flooring were returned, I just got a call and text that the delivery group is looking to redeliver or pickup the already returned flooring!! When I called customer support, I got hung up on and placed on hold twice for over an hour. We are ready to call an attorney at this point and the police. read more

I visited this location and I had a GREAT experience here!! I was SO blessed to have been helped by a representative named Gabriel. He was super intelligent, knowledgeable, professional, creative, and especially SUPER helpful, patient, and kind. I went to the store after having been to a couple of other stores trying to find a way to fix an old but beautiful piece of furniture I have. Gabriel guided me and suggested very creative and clever ideas. I am SO grateful that now my beautiful table is functional again thanks to Gabriel's invaluable help and brilliant advice!! I needed a 40 inch flexible gas line for a hot water heater I had to. Stop the moving objects call customer service person Orlando, This Home Depot need to retrain associates to be helpful and not run responsibility. Orlando informed me that he works the plumbing department. But he couldn't find the 11 water heater gas Felx lines that he said was among the opening packages and this unorganized section. There's to quit to walk by a customer without offering help. Orlando walked away, never to return. I found what I was looking for by myself. This is my first time coming to this location. The store is located in a very nice area. The landscaping on the outside is nice. But when you walk up to the store you are greeted by garage busing out of the garage can. It's looks bad. They are very organized in the inside of the store. We were there looking for a tool to cut brick. A young man by the name of Josh that worked there was very helpful. I would say he went above and beyond. We could not find the blade that we needed at first so we headed to the tool department to see what options we had. Josh came and found us and brought us the blade we needed. not a huge fan. there were more employees than customers and the ONLY person who said hi and asked me if i needed help was the busiest employee-who was working. there were employees chatting and acting busy (one was helping someone) but i would easily say 7 employees were doing nothing and not helping me. i asked for help, they pointed towards the "correct" aisle and it's the wrong aisle. brilliant. clean store, well stocked. the cashiers at the garden place were nice. that's why the two stars. meh. i will go to another home depot to buy what i need. in my opinion they need to do better here, a lot better. read more

I've been shopping in this Home Depot for a few years since I moved to Suwanee, always buy home appliance here. it's been mostly positive experience until last November... My dishwasher start leaking water pretty bad, so I decided to buy a new one, and I bought a Samsung from this Home depot, unfortunately, it won't fit. At that time if I choose to return it, it won't be a big deal, but the installation guy told me, if I can get some electrician to fix the wiring, he can come back to install and suggest me to just hold the washing machine and I did not think much and agreed... This is A BIG MISTAKE!! I should have it returned!!! 2 weeks later, another installation guy came and told me he can't install it either, and since it is already accepted 2 weeks ago. Now I have a dishwasher that they can't install and I can't get it returned. so I called Home Depot customer service, long story short: the service manager from this Suwanee Home Depot agreed to take it back and I can get the refund as credit so I can buy a new one from the same store. Great, right? I thought so too, in December 2021, I got several calls from HD and one of them even promised me that he will help me get it returned as soon as possible since it's been going on since November. As of now, as I am writing this review, 2/16/2022, nothing has happened. Apparently, somehow they decided to just silently break their promise. What I paid was the machine + installation. they took the installation money and didn't do the job. if it can't be installed, should I at least get the installation money back??? Finally I decided to hire someone else to install it. Terrible Terrible experience... I can't believe a Fortune 500 company would do such thing to his loyal customer. read more

Today, we had truly outstanding help from an employee in Suwanee, GA, named Debbie Caballero in the kitchen $ bath department. She is their designer. She is highly skilled with the math that's generated from detailed measurements. Her product knowledge is amazing. Because of this, she was able to come up with some optional ways to save money. Looking out for the customer is how she's creating "happy campers" that will come back. (We are not related to this smart lady, and had never met her until today.) read more

I was getting frustrated looking for an item,I asked one of the worker for help,wasn't much help at all. He look like he didn't understand me at first but proceed to tell me which aisle to go to and that I will find what I was looking for. Nope it wasn't it. I came across another worker Ms.Susan (Sparky) and omg she's a godsend. Not only did came with me to the aisle she continued to help me find it. It wasn't where it said it'll be, she didn't give up and looked all over until she found that it was up high! Went to grab a ladder and did her thangggg! PLANT RESCUE ON THE WAY This Home Depot is located on Old Peachtree Road and Satellite Blvd. It sits back a bit so may be easy to miss when you are coming down Satellite. We stopped in tonight and the first thing I notice is how sad the plants look. Many of them were dead and dying (very dry and limp). Someone is certainly not doibusng their job. This was consistent with plants that were inside and outside of the store. I noticed that the employees were chit chatting with one another and while I'm all about having conversation, there is a time and place. How about rescue/water your dying plants BEFORE you start socializing. My husband and I executed what our plant rescue mission to save some of the plants because we did see some that were viable and they did have a nice special on some of the selections. My wife and I were at the garden section and at the time Emily was the only cashier on duty. When we went up to the register, she was talking to a customer 20 ft or so away. We waited for more than 5 minutes and then let her know we were checking out. She acknowledged us; told us to wait and continued to talk to the customer. Another 5 minutes passed before she finally broke off and by that time a checkout line of several customers were formed, all waiting for her. Emily never apologized for keeping us waiting. By the way there was no 6 ft spacing marking on the floor so the customer behind me stood less than 3 ft away. read more

Who doesn't know what is Home Depot? No metter if you like this place or don't you go there because it's close to your house and there is no alternative except Lowe's. May be some places Ace Hardware. What I like about Home depot is Tool Rental. If you don't have pick up truck or some power tools it's great to bu what you need and deliver on pick up truck. Main difference between stores is people who works in them. So I always try to get names and mention good employees vs not so much. read more

Home Depot, normally, I'm not a huge fan of your cavernous stores that always smell like a combination of paint and fertilizer the minute I walk in. Or trolling up and down aisles with ambiguous names searching for that one small dohickey that I need to but can't seem to find if it had a GPS tracking device. Or asking one of your many orange-clad employees who also have no idea where my dohickey is, as they've only begun working there two weeks ago. That just doesn't excite me. Sorry. But, when I (or in this case my boyfriend) needed to get his DIY on in the form of fixing his leaking shower and running toilet, Home Depot is where we ended up. And my, what a change this particular trip was! Armed with his little printed sheet of paper detailing exactly which thing-a-ma-bob was needed for the leaky shower, he quickly located the aisle of shower and toilet whosawhatsits, and a helpful employee who happened to be there already with another customer. After a pointless search of the shelves (even if it's right in front of me, I'll never locate the exact piece of hardware I need on my own), we asked the employee, and lo and behold, he plucked it right off the shelves in front of us. Great! Then, since we were already there, I asked my boyfriend to get the googaw to fix the running toilet too. Again, multiple toilet googaws were carefully scrutinized to no avail. Once again, the helpful employee saved us, and even explained why the current googaw was failing and didn't look exactly like the ones on the shelf. Brilliant! Apparently this was the rocket scientist of employees we just happened to stumble upon. After a few more minutes of cruising aisles in search of wall brackets, we exited armed with purchases ready to improve his home. I almost felt like I was one of those handy people featured in the Home Depot commercials. Gee, if only all home improvement store trips could be this productive and efficient. Maybe then I wouldn't have such an aversion to DIY... No, I probably still would. That's really just not my cup of tea. read more

Rescheduled appointment 2 days later was a no show and could not be advised as to why after I was assured that the appointment was definite after initial cancellation. Purchased Samsung dishwasher on Jan. 18, 2018. My delivery was scheduled on Feb 17 between 12:45-4:45 (got a call a day before for the 4 hour time frame) but did not showed up nor call till 7 p.m.. Called appliance dept. mgr Margaret then I was told I am 2 delivery stop away. I was still waiting for 30 min. prior delivery stop call by driver. No calls what so ever. I called the Spirit, delivery compny again and finally found out that my dishwasher is not in the truck because it is on back order. I called Home Depot main customer service this morning but they did not do anything to solve this issue and they don't even have a clue whether the dishwasher in stock or not. This store has given me awful customer service not once but twice in the last three days. Employees are disinterested and hard to find. Was told to find items on wrong isles instead of being walked to the item, one woman was on her personal cell and standing in the middle of the isle but ignored me when asked to help, customer service didn't acknowledge me for almost ten min when standing there I had to ask if they could help me when three employees were having a conversation and that was all in one trip. The second trip the lady in the paint department was one of the rudest people I've ever came in contact with. (Long red curly hair, glasses and resting bitch face) Again having a personal conversation I asked if one of the ladies could help me and she did with a major chip on her shoulder. Short and curt, while I needed some direction on what paint to get. In the end I got my paint but wished I went to Lowe's or an Ace. I also didn't get anything to open my can or sticks which I went back for reluctantly after I realized I wasn't provided them. When I asked for them.. they were out of sticks (go figure) and she handed me opener and stated "you're welcome".. I stated I didn't say thank you! Unbelievable. This trip was a total of almost 600$ between, light fixtures, fan, paint and tarps and a tool rental. I can tell you the only positive thing on both trips were the people in Tool rental. Not a fan of this location. The store always appears disheveled, finding a knowledgeable associate is on par with what you experience at Walmart; your problem is not my problem. Recently embarked on a major home renovation, after meeting nothing but frustration with this location, I chose to take my business a bit further to the Lowes in Suwannee. This location, mostly do to the staff members ineptitude and appreciation for their customers paying their wages, lost out on a few grand in sales. read more

Home Depot Carpet installation, Worst experiences ever. I have ordered carpet to install. Installation company made mistakes, first time only measured up stairs, missed all down stairs. Second time they came over, missed to measure hall way. Detailed my project for almost one month. The finally they came over to install my carpet, but damaged the wall, door and foot line. They left the trash in my garage. I have called customer services. They are not helping with the problems they made. read more

Well how do I start? I used to like shopping at Home Depot, but no more, they've lost my business, even though they are around the corner! They make it incredibly challenging for vets like me to use our military discounts. For years they have a canned response for not having a better method of applying the discount without having to carry our DD214. It's always the same story..."we are working on it". Poppycock! Look no further than Lowe's to figure out how to do it, yes Lowe's has the care (or smarts), not the locally owned Home Depot. At Lowe's I can order both in store and online and my profile shows I am a veteran. It's automatically applied. This past weekend I tried ordering 2 patio chairs, over $650 online however there was no way to try and apply a discount, so we tried calling customer service, after 10 minutes trying to get through we decided to drive to Home Depot. What a waste of time!!! Clearly the customer service rep hasn't been trained on customer service. From the 1st words you could tell she wasn't happy to be there and most definitely wasn't happy when we walked up to her counter. We proceeded to tell her we were interested in purchasing a couple chairs, she checked the stock items and proceeded to tell us they were only available online, not via in store purchase. We said okay can you order for us since we're here, she said no. We proceeded to ask her if we have to go online and do ourselves how do we apply the military discount online and she said you can't. Wait...what? I can get 10% on any item in store including any other chairs but not these chairs online! I said that's crazy how is that fair. She said they are working on a better system for vets (again call Lowe's). I said yeah you've all been telling me that for 2 years now, even when I buy in store purchases and have to bring my DD214. Eye roll and we left. So fed up with them, clearly Arthur Blank doesn't care. So from now on 100% of my business will go to Lowe's, even though they are 10 minutes further. They obviously want to serve those that served. To prove that even further as soon as you pull on the lot you can see the veteran only parking spaces. Thank you Lowe's!!! while helping my brother install his bathroom sinks, countertop, and plumbing, we had to make no fewer than 5 trips to his local home depot. i'm not sure why this suwanee, ga location is so different than any other home depot i have spent time in (and believe me, i have spent years in various Home Depots), but we must have been asked at least 20 times if we needed help with anything from the staff. it was unbelievable! i once remodeled an entire condo by myself...and had not a clue as how to do anything. for 3 months, i was in my local scottsdale depot and not even ONCE did anyone help me...in fact, i would have to literally hunt down employees for assistance. if every home depot was like this suwanee location, i might be tempted to flip another house. read more

I went to purchase a Christmas tree with my mother and my sister. It was our first time purchasing a tree from Home Depot and it was close to around closing time, and will I tell you Aaron had the best smile, best attitude and costumer service I have ever seen anywhere he was so happy to help us!! My mom is a very picky person, but he had a great smile along the way and wanted to ensure we purchased the best tree and gave his opinion on what tree he liked the best... which was the one we chose. He cut the tree to my moms liking, loaded the tree up for us on our car too and had a nice conversation with my little sister Home Depot you did a great job with this guy I can see him going far keep up the great costumer service! read more
