And I actually mean that with every aspect of harbor freight. What you see is what you get and that's comforting. Although on occasion you might find some of the products to be less than high quality, the majority of them are perfectly acceptable. And when you factor in the very low prices they sell these products for, it makes them mostly worth it. And the prices really are fantastic. Another thing that is fantastic about this place is the customer service. The employees are usually quite friendly, and they will try to do the best they can to answer your questions, or to help you in whatever way they can. At least that has been my experience. Another thing is that they never falsely advertise any of the products they sell, nor the operating hours. I have had on multiple occasions been turned away from a business or encountered locked doors even though I had arrived during regular business hours. More then a couple businesses advertise the operating hours as one thing, but then stop operating and shut the doors earlier than they promised to the people which is such a terrible thing to do considering these customers have already spent who knows how much time, energy, and likely gas making the trip down there only to find out it's all been a complete waste and absolutely for nothing. And this was all after looking up the hours of the business prior to leaving. This Harbor freight location doesn't do that. They do what they say, and they operate exactly how they say they operate. It gives me a sense of trust in harbor freight that I have long since lost for a number of other businesses. This is just one of the reasons why I will keep on shopping at this harbor freight store.

We don't need to spend hours looking for a wood board that is not bent. Of course, it comes to a price. Since the quality of the materials are usually higher, the price is also higher than other similar stores. But in my opinion it is totally worthy it. Services are also better than other bigger stores. We got a more customized services and people are usually very knowledgeable about the products the store offers. Jill does not belong in customer service…read more When I went to check out there were two people in line at each of their two registers. Gal in front of me had a price check which Jill acted like was a huge inconvenience to come over and do. The other register was dealing with a return with no receipt which the cashier couldn't handle and Jill was too annoyed to stick around and resolve. She was too stressed by the patient gal waiting for someone to help her find a product. By the time I got to check out, Miranda, the cashier, looked about ready to cry from secondhand stress. One of my items didn't have a price tag so... price check. And guess who looked thrilled about it. And gave the COMPLETE wrong price. I had grabbed one of their 99¢ bandanas and she said $6.99. I just chose not to buy that rather than argue because it wasn't worth talking to Jill. Miranda was great and very apologetic but I honestly felt bad leaving her with that kind of individual manning that area. Took about ten minutes to get through checkout and Jill was still ignoring the return issue but thankfully that poor cashier was able to get another manager over who looked pretty annoyed with Jill's inaction so I feel like this is a known issue. I hate to imagine what Jill would act like with an actually angry customer if this is how she behaved with patient folks experiencing minor issues.

Thank you to Fergusson for being concerned about what Customer Service is about. I changed the rating from 2 stars to 3 because they at least reached out. 7/15/2024 - Nothing but a profound disappointment with the service I received at Fergusson location at 3440 6th Ave S, Seattle. My recent experience left me frustrated and concerned about the level of customer care at this store, and I urge your business to a competitor or even another Fergusson shop. Called on Tuesday to order a 3x3x2 Street Wye, a special fitting not typically stocked. I chose this location due to its proximity to my workplace and was assured it would arrive by Friday. Unbeknownst to me, this store is the only utilities supply shop that closes at 3 PM daily. I received no notification that the part had arrived, so I called at 2:30 PM on Friday to confirm its arrival. I informed the person on the phone that I would leave work immediately to pick it up, yet there was no mention of the early closing time. I arrived at the store at 3:06 PM, only to find the doors closed and gated. A person sitting in his car in the parking lot rolled down his window and, when I explained my situation, his response was simply, "I am not going to clock in." He suggested I go to the Marginal Way location, even though I had specifically ordered the part for will-call because no other Fergusson in the Seattle area had it in stock, and it had to be shipped from Portland. His refusal to help was frustrating and disappointing, especially considering my entire weekend plans were contingent on this fitting. When I returned on Monday, I encountered further issues. I asked why the employee even bothered to engage me if he had no intention of helping. Another customer, who seemed to know the employee, became confrontational with me for voicing my concerns. This added to my frustration and made the situation more uncomfortable. My main concerns are as follows: 1.) Why didn't I receive a call or text confirming the part had arrived? 2.) When I called to confirm the part was in and mentioned I was on my way, why was I not informed of the early closing time? 3.) Why was the employee sitting in his car and engaging with me if he had no intention of helping? 4.) When I spoke with Kyle, the manager, he seemed indifferent to the lack of communication and customer service. His response felt obligatory and dismissive. This experience reflects poorly on Fergusson's commitment to customer service. The lack of communication and the dismissive attitude of their staff are unacceptable. It would be nice to see a business address these kinds of issues promptly to prevent other customers from having similar negative experiences. I honestly have my doubts that they even care about customers.

The management team here at this Target (Renton) needs to be improved. Here's how and why:…read more May 27,2026. I placed my order through the Target app the night before and selected curbside pickup for today around noon. Before arriving, I properly used the app to notify the store that I was on my way, as instructed. I arrived within approximately 10 minutes and parked in the designated curbside pickup area. I then waited more than 15 minutes without any communication, update, or assistance from staff. During this time, I observed numerous other vehicles arrive after me, receive their orders, and leave, while my order was completely ignored. Concerned that there may have been an issue, I called the store for assistance. Unfortunately, the employee who answered the phone was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing, checking the status of my order, or attempting to help, he responded with: "Why don't you just go inside and get your stuff?" That response completely defeats the purpose of offering curbside pickup and reflects extremely poor customer service. At no point did anyone acknowledge the delay, provide an explanation, or make any effort to correct the situation. I understand that stores become busy and delays can occur. However, customers should still be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and basic respect. What made this experience especially disappointing was not just the wait itself, but the lack of accountability and the rude attitude displayed when I attempted to seek assistance. This experience left me frustrated enough to leave without receiving my order. I believe the employees responsible for curbside fulfillment and customer service at this location need better training in communication, professionalism, and customer care. * Addition Concern Regarding Incorrect Pickup Confirmation. To make matters even more concerning, after I left the store without receiving my order, I later received an email from Target at 12:11 PM indicating that my order had been marked as "picked up" at the Renton location. This information is inaccurate. I did not receive my order, nor did I authorize any individual to collect it on my behalf. I left the store dissatisfied after waiting without assistance and after experiencing unprofessional treatment from the employee with whom I spoke by phone. Receiving an incorrect pickup confirmation raises significant concerns regarding order handling, verification procedures, and accountability at this location. ** Customers should be able to rely on Target's pickup system to accurately reflect whether an order has in fact been received by the intended customer.
