    "Delivery and Assembly included"...
    Stacey M.

Was thrilled for delivery and assembly of our grill on Monday. Finally got ahold of our grill via Home Depot Somerville (Everett was less than helpful and Home Depot provided no update after not delivery on Monday) it was eventually delivered Friday... so glad we waited for a week to get a boxed, Unassembled grill that could have been put in my car on Saturday. Delivery person was rude and unable to bring a car down our street (normal size with no traffic) and told us that "he doesn't do that" when we asked about the assembly which was part of the deal. Would go to Ace hardware if I had to make another purchase from a hardware store.

Its Home Depot which I love & this store never really seems to be swamped so that is a plus for me...

This Home Depot has pretty decent service for a Home Depot, better than the Somerville one. It's nice because it's in the same shopping center as Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Petsmart, and Costco, so if you are into efficient shopping like me, this is the place to go! I can't say too much else since most Home Depots pretty much have the same materials in stock.

I have been coming to this store for years, when they were in their first location in the North…read moreEnd. I even schlepped my ass to Brookline when they briefly moved there. Thankfully, they're back in a different area of the North End, still doing their thing of sustainable products. Maria (owner) & her staff + interns are amazingly friendly & helpful! There are probably eco-friendly things here you didn't even know you needed. It's great to be able to bring my empty glass jars or use theirs to get your refills. It's a simple & easy way to get whatever items you need, like body lotion, detergent, & other products. They also have an abundance of plants which is pretty cool. They even do a clothing swap & other events too, so you have to follow them to know when they're happening. The issue is that they're not always open when they're supposed to be which is unfortunate.

I've tried ordering eco products online before and it's been hit or miss. I'm happy to have found a place where I can see things in real life before buying them and make sure they are durable and sized correctly for my needs, even try a toothpaste tablet from the sample container, and talk to real life people who have tried the products so I can find out what makeup remover to use with the bamboo pads and whether shampoo and conditioner bars will have a different feel than the liquid stuff. More bonuses: they are walking distance from the orange line, they said I can bring back empty containers and buy refills, and their plant nursery section is nice. They are a bit pricey, as should be expected with ethically sourced products, not to mention storefronts that pay rent in the North End. Most of what I bought will hopefully last long enough to more than pay for itself. I'll be back!
