Winston's Flowers had to move from their amazing 2-acre garden space on Boylston, so we locals were REALLY disappointed. The owners sold the property. Their new space - at The Street at Chestnut Hill - is so much smaller but still has all the warmth and charm, exemplary service and excellent product I have come to expect from Winston's Flowers! Please give them a chance! You won't be disappointed! read more

It is incredibly frustrating to have a website that says the Chestnut Hill shop is open Sundays and have the phone answer and say hold for a representative only to be left on hold for 12 minutes! Historically the flowers have been beautiful. The service is lacking. I hope the company is not resting on it's laurels. read more

I ordered the lilac enchantment. The flowers looked as they were anemic. The lilacs were drooping. Peonies closed. No fragrance even though rose buds were everywhere. The flower arrangement was an overall disappointment and do not recommend. I feel I was paying for the delivery packaging was top-notch but it gets thrown away. read more

Don't waste your time. Very disappointed in a recent bouquet I ordered online through Winston Flowers to be delivered for my elderly mother's birthday. It cost us several hundred dollars (so we expected something spectacular) and arrived with already wilted/browned roses. We've been customers of Winston Flowers for decades, in past had appreciated the reliably high quality, but not any longer. At this point I will never order from Winton Flowers again. So disappointed. I also wrote to Winston Flowers about this and never heard back from them, so I consider this extremely poor customer service. read more

Beautiful flowers! I sent my daughter a beautiful arrangement for her birthday. It was expensive but you get what you pay for. I would for sure order again. Also excellent customer service. Above and beyond. read more

For the freshest flowers and the most beautiful arrangements, contact Winston Flowers. You won't be disappointed.

I was shopping for a Birthday bouquet on Newbury and stopped in to see what was available. The associates were very helpful and I ended up buying a few styles to make a nice arrangement. The flowers unfortunately only lasted 3 days, BUT we called and an associate took great care of us. We sent them photos of the arrangement, to which they offered to replace the flowers (they absolutely upgraded the order!) and even deliver the new arrangement the same week. I recommend buying from this Business. Their customer service was/is excellent, and as a first time buyer here, I will be back. Thank you Winston Flowers read more

Update: Winston flowers went above and beyond to address the issue and I was very happy with the outcome. I got my wedding flowers through Winston last October and they did a great job. But I just ordered a $255 arrangement from them. It should have been much bigger if it were as advertised. However, what I received was much closer to the medium size rather than the large. The arrangement is still beautiful which is why I am still giving them 3 stars. I am really just disappointed that they seemed to skimping which is really sad because I got this arrangement for a special occasion which is just that much less bright and joyful now. read more

The customer service was above and beyond! Starling was so helpful and kind. It was a wonderful experience.

I need to update this review because I feel when businesses make mistakes and try to make them right that's what matters. My original bouquet was bad but when We connect with the business they sent a replacement 48 hours later and it's beautiful. I also had a message from the manager. They def care- and I appreciate that. Previous: This is the second time a bouquet of flowers have been ordered and the flowers arrive old. This is not what you would expect when you spend $100+ for a flower arrangement. These flowers were delivered on Saturday at 2pm. Now, Monday morning here's what they look like. The stems and the bottom of the flower heads have mold. read more

100%, White Glove product, execution, service, and experience. You would think you're buying a Rolls Royce, but you really purchased a mere $150 arrangement for delivery for a dear friend. When you call to check the status of a delivery, you are treated as though you are in the family. You are welcomed into the arms of this institution as though you single-handedly are keeping this organization afloat, even though your modest purchase pales in comparison to other clientele. There is no other. Simply, Winston's. read more

I'm disappointed but not surprised to see all the recent one star reviews. Winston outsources their deliveries to local partners with questionable ethics. When I shared my concern the customer service rep lacked empathy and also noted that next time I could order earlier if I wanted Winston to be the vendor to deliver vs their vendor as a courtesy. There won't be a next time. Highly recommend avoiding this business - it treats people terribly. read more

Whenever I want the freshest and the most beautiful and eloquent looking flowers I call Winston Flowers. My husband has ordered flowers from Winston for many years and loves their arrangements. They have never disappointed anyone. The colors are vibrant and beautiful and the arrangements are amazing. It is on the more expensive side so you get what you pay for. It has taken me some time to simply get past the cost and simply enjoy the flowers when he treats sends me a surprise treat. I now do order from Winston's for others and do have an appreciation for what a gorgeous bouquet should look like. They are not your "typical flower" shop! Love them now. read more

Juliana helped my mom and I today - we had two gift cards to use. We never felt rushed (and we were there for probably 30 minutes perusing all the beautiful items in the shop) and Juliana was so lovely and helpful. Giving us suggestions and offering care plans for various items. She went above and beyond. This was our first experience with Winston and it lives up to the "best in the business" distinction I've long heard. We ended up leaving with flowers, candles, and easily 4-5 plants. It made our weekend. Thanks Juliana! read more

This summer I discovered Winston Flowers on Newbury Street! Their flowers are so fresh, and they arrange elegant bouquets with care and thoughtfulness. The bouquets last quite a long time compared to other shops. I've found excellent home-warming gifts here (beautiful glass vases, custom bouquets to go with the vases, etc.). Quality blooms and impeccable service. Winston Flowers sets the gold standard! read more

Warning to all customers. If I could give no stars I would. They have lost there family touch. The book of the company should be buried in the grave. The quality of their flowers doesn't last for more than four days. Also when they say they will refund our money or give store credit it is false news. Don't get taken advantage of. Dave read more

My husband and I are long time customers and huge fans of the amazing designs that come out of Winston Flowers. In all of our years, we have never ever said anything other than "My God they've hit it out of the park again" - however this day - they sent an arrangement for Valentine's Day and oddly enough - the flowers and the arrangement seemed as though it had freezer burn -- the beautiful tea roses had burn marks and they were wilted - so not in keeping with Winston's. My husband called and without even any pushback they said they'd replace it right away. They remain our favorite florist - bar none!!! read more

Food, clothing, shelter, or flowers? If your choice is flowers, you should always count on Winston for an amazing arrangement. I've received several arrangements from Winston Flowers from my husband who claims, it's worth the extra $30-$40 for a different, modern, gorgeous arrangement that will last for a long time. Most of their arrangements are low and absolutely rich with very good quality flowers, not to mention placed in a vase that's an original Winston design that you can use for several purposes after the flowers are gone. So the vase itself is worth plenty, rather than the cheap $1 ones that come from other florists. Every time I get a delivery from them my female co-workers go ga-ga. When I bring it home, it's a perfect centerpiece for my dining table. I can't gush enough about how beautiful each arrangement is. I've uploaded several pictures of past arrangements... go take a peek! read more

Winston Flowers is expensive. For flowers, VERY expensive.. and I've managed to get flowers that would last just as long for cheap at Trader Joe's. However, that requires labor and sometimes I get to file expense reports... The work they do is gorgeous and never looks cheap. You get what you pay for, for sure. And I did have white lilies sent to me from a friend from Winston a few years ago that were so beautiful and lasted so long I took and still have pictures and I still have the vase (with eucalyptus from TJ's in it). read more

A very seductive place to take away the blooming lovelies of the season. On my Springtime visit, there were lilacs and several varieties of rhodies as well as tall stalks of lilies and sky high stems of roses in every color. Formal arrangements made use of lots of natural elements like pared sticks jutting from angular vases, and scrolled, stripped palm leaves wrapped on the inside of glass bowls. I agree with other reviewers that the shop's clerks' skill set as well as botanical knowledge need improvement. When asked for directions to Winston's south Boston design center, we got a scrawled note with about 75% accuracy. Not hard to leave directional cards at the cash register for not only customers, but to help untutored clerks too. read more

I love their flower arrangements and I used to think they have the best quality of roses in winter season. However, I received my Vday roses and they only last for THREE days. What a shame!!! I've received at least 3-4 bouquets from them every year in the past two years and I would recommend to order "seasonal" selections to make sure the quality of flowers are in control. If you want to impress a girl. They are the best option! *I edited my review from 3stars to 4s coz they contacted me about my Vday bad experience. I attached my roses pictures to manager ( Julie), who is courteous and thoughtful to send me another arrangement and shares some tips of keeping flowers fresh. I def. would give them five stars for their customer services. Nowadays we are used to mistreated by cable/mobile corporations and don't realize how awesome local business owners are.Our company always orders from them to our clients and it is great to know they have higher standards of services. Their season/holiday designs are impeccable and will always provide the 'awe' moments for the recipients ! * read more

Everyone knows that Winstons is the go to flower shop and nursery, but I was left breathless a few days ago. I was looking for a bouquet. They started at $125 and went up to $250 for 'nice' but not exceptional. When I expressed sticker shock, the assistant was unapologetic and went off into her sales pitch....come on, every florist gets their supply from the local flower marjet, so save me the BS. Went to WF's and got a more quality presentation, and my own choice of flowers for 1/5th of the price. read more

Way, way overpriced!! OK quality, but, shop around. There are better shops in Watertown.

I recently had the best experience with Winston Flowers. I live in New York City and I needed flowers sent to a friend that was in the Boston area hospital receiving chemo. It pains me to write this as I love the floral arrangements here. I received a wedding gift from Winston Flowers and loved the arrangement so much that I had planned to use them for all my personal future floral needs but now that I've had experience on the "gift giving" side I need to share that the service I've received from them is atrocious and unlike any company I have worked with before (not in a good way). read more
