I got married on 8/3/2019 and used Table & Tulip for my bridal bouquet and groom lapel flower (we did not have a full bridal party). I messaged many florists, and everyone else did not reply or stated they could not produce so small an order even with three month's notice, but Table & Tulip got back to us immediately, asked for ideas, photos, and creations I was interested in, and gave me samples of various sizes and examples. I was especially happy that they were able to procure a small sprig of jasmine for my husband, as it was very important to his culture that the flower be used. Both the bridal bouquet (I chose the largest size of all white and cream flowers with lots of greenery and a lapel jasmine sprig with greenery), came to $150. I wore a simple dress and had the flowers be the statement, so it was basically an entire armload of flowers and greenery. They also delivered it to our hotel in Boston with a vase and a carrying box. The flowers were wrapped extremely securely, and the finished product was exactly as I had pictured. They looked lush and full and fresh on our wedding day even though the weather was hot, and it's now a week later and only now are they starting to brown on the edges (I will be pressing some of the flowers for keeping). I will definitely use this florist again. They were prompt, professional, had a wide array of flowers and ideas, and the price was right for the size I wanted. read more

From the first meeting to the wedding day she worked tirelessly to make sure that it was everything we asked for an more. Even through a global pandemic including a postponement and change of venue, she didn't miss a beat and kept us smiling. The reception space was breathtaking and all of our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was. When I looked around the room after the sun had set, I was able to see all the faces of all my loved ones glowing from the floating candles in hurricanes at varying heights which was her suggestion and really made the room twinkle. Specifically, I was able to see my dad smiling while sitting at his table with his favorite cocktail watching his entire family dance the night away. I really enjoyed working with Julia from Table & Tulip. I was familiar with them from living in the south end and I had once done a floral arrangement class there and the space was so adorable. After meetings with several florists in Boston (and as some told me, very late in the game apparently), I decided to go with Table & Tulip because I really liked the staff - they weren't pretentious and came off very easy going but at the same time enthusiastic, open, and most importantly, came in with ideas to bring to life my random Pinterest board. They also seemed really willing to work within my budget. I liked the process of working with them because they were organized with everything, which put me at ease. I could tell they knew what they were doing. They did a formal presentation of their proposal for centerpieces so I could react to what they had in mind. Once we put together an order, I was still able to make changes along the way, which I definitely did, and they were always so accommodating. I really think the attitude and willingness to work with you is so important in a florist. You have so much going on and working with someone difficult just makes everything work. But luckily, they also deliver with their work! My colors were heavy greens and white, incorporating some brown into the flowers with branches. My wedding was on the formal side and so I was looking for a modern and elegant style but the flowers would have a bit of the fairy tale vibe. Some florists fall into a specific style camp - modern vs whimsical/garden but I liked how table & tulip seemed to be able to do either. They also did my seating chart which I loved so much and most of the little table signage. I'm a guy. As one would probably suspect, I know next to nothing about floral arrangements. I know what looks good, but I don't know how to reach that point on my own. When I went into Table & Tulip after shopping at Flock up the street, I knew I wanted something relatively inexpensive yet impressive to give my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. What I didn't know was where to even start, which was evident as soon as the owner asked me what I'd like (types, color scheme, etc.) and my answers prompted her to say, half in jest, "STOP! DON'T LISTEN TO HIM! WE'LL DO THIS ON OUR OWN!" I gave her my price range and her and the other staff arranged a beautiful mix of roses, sweet peas and others that I know my girlfriend will be ecstatic over (especially if the reactions from passersby in the street on my walk back to the train is indicative). This process took about 20 minutes, during which we conversed and then I finally paid an amount which was the price point I had requested upon entering the shop. I will never, EVER, buy arrangements on the internet as I was once keen to do. Shopping at Table & Tulip was a fantastic experience and I will no doubt return the next time I want to give flowers. Andrea's shop is truly wonderful and over the past year I have had the chance to take her wonderful floral arranging classes. Each class has a different theme (one of my favorites was the floral crown class where we used all different varieties of roses) and with each class we get to learn a little background of which flowers we're using and why. It's also a very fun atmosphere, there's always yummy snacks and wine. Andrea and her staff are there to help guide us through the basics of floral arranging and eagerly help with any questions. Wow, I can not say enough about Table and tulip! I first heard about them by word of mouth, and quickly reached out to them about our summer wedding at the Boston Public Library. My fiancé and I were looking for something elegant, but simple with lots of whites and greens. I worked with Lynnae throughout the wedding planning process and through a couple meetings, her and the team at Table and Tulip were able to capture our vision for our wedding day. I walked into their South End shop one afternoon on my way home from work and had a super casual conversation- asking if they could create bouquets and table arrangements within my fairly tight budget. Run, don't walk, to Table and Tulip! ...but only if you want to be absolutely blown away by your floral arrangements on your wedding day. I connected with Lynnae at Table and Tulip through our venue's Private Events Manager, who, after having shared only a few inspirational photos, immediately thought my style and vision would be a perfect fit with them. The featured arrangements on Table and Tulip's website were exquisitely unique, but what spoke to me the most (remember, pictures are worth a thousand words) was their team photo. I imagined they would be tremendous fun to work with, and, boy, was I right. Upon meeting Lynnae at Table and Tulip's adorably quaint shop in the South End, I knew immediately my fiancé and I were in great hands. Need I mention they have their own flower garden?! For our spring wedding, Lynnae was able to capture the intended color theme that, at the time, I could communicate only through a select few photos: lively spring greens, whites, and antique rose. Her attention to detail, in asking specific questions relating to the size and density of our desired arrangements, particularly my bouquet and that of my maid of honor, which I wanted to be of similar size and appearance, as they were both going to be repurposed as centerpieces after the ceremony, opened my eyes to the true art that is floral design. I also appreciated her recommendations to include in-season blooms like fringe tulips--because it would have been a shame not to--and olive leaf treatments for our dinner napkins. I knew from that point on that Lynnae would execute brilliantly on our floral arrangements. I sat back, 'relaxed' (about as much as one can when wedding planning), for about 18 months (yes, 18 months...our wedding was actually about 2+ years in the making), and WHAM, our wedding day was here! Not only were our arrangements, from the bouquets to the table arrangements, unbelievably beautiful, they surpassed even my wildest expectations...and, don't even get me started on our garland! Our venue had a large format mosaic feature over which we wanted to drape a lush, spring green garland. Lynnae and her team worked some real magic with eucalyptus to produce, bar none, the most outrageously beautiful 25-foot garland I've EVER seen. My maid of honor and I, channeling Britney Spears and her albino Burmese python, even joked about wearing it. My maid of honor may have been joking, but I was genuinely tempted. Celebrity references aside, I cannot rave about Lynnae and Table and Tulip enough! They helped create the perfect ambiance for our perfect day, and I will forever be grateful to our venue for bringing us together and to Table and Tulip for blowing us away with amazing, meticulously styled florals.
