I cannot say enough wonderful things about this florist!! I sent my daughter flowers for her 21st birthday today and they were gorgeous! Yani was so helpful and friendly. He knew exactly what I was wanting when I said my daughter loves "farmers market flowers". And he was attentive to the details of delivery so they wouldn't get stolen! Again, I can't say enough compliments!! read more

I ordered at 1:00 pm., and they were delivered in just over an hour. The arrangement was beautiful, and I was very impressed that they were delivered to my girlfriend so quickly. Jayne just designed the most outstanding funeral pieces for my beloved mother's wake and funeral service. She also artistically designed other family flower arrangements plus accommodated a relative and friend that also needed funereal flowers on short notice for my mom. The flowers were fresh and visually stunning. Truly beautiful. Many many people commented on the flowers. Jayne's arrangements are designed with love and an understanding of what the meaning is behind the floral piece and who she is designing for. Thank you so much. read more

You would be hard-pressed to find someone who gives you a better price and as much personal attention as Jayne does with what are typically the freshest flowers around. Jayne is fantastic at what she does and has zero attitude or ego about it. Whether you know a lot about flowers or nothing at all about them, it doesn't matter. Jayne will make sure that you leave with something great-looking and occasion-appropriate. If Jayne doesn't happen to be there when you go, don't worry. The staff she keeps is very talented as well and just as helpful. I have gotten numerous great arrangements from Jayne over the years and do my best to never go anywhere else. read more

Usually, when a vendor doesn't have what you want, they try to talk you into buying what they do have. It isn't often that they refer you to another business, but that's just exactly what happened with Jayne's. She was already swamped with other orders, didn't have the supplies on hand to make the "funeral sash" that I wanted, and wasn't able to supply the type of arrangement that I requested, so she referred me elsewhere. Her recommendation resulted in a wonderful transaction with the other florist, which results in my 5-stars to Jayne's for integrity, ethics, and grace. Another time, I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to rate the flowers as well, but I certainly encourage others to use this florist. When the ethics are impeccable, you can bet the flowers will be, too. read more

If I could rated higher, I would. Frantically looking for a florist in Boston to deliver flowers to my daughter for Easter during the COVID-19 pandemic, I stumbled on Google upon Jayne's. I called, not knowing they had closed their Post Office Sq location, and did not reach anyone. While I was on-line trying to place an order, I received a call-back (must have used caller ID?). Jayne's took my order, customized the flowers, and delivered them within 4 hours of receipt of my request! Service was spectacular, flowers gorgeous and even more amazing, the price was reasonable! Jayne's exceeded all my expectations and my daughter was blown away by the gorgeous arrangement, which among the beauty, included white orchids, hyacinths, blue hydrangeas, thistle and white roses. I will definitely keep them in my Favorites for another delivery! Thanks Jayne's read more

Winston Flowers a little too fancyshmancy? Wanna support a female-owned, small business? Wanna meet thoughtful and knowledgeable saleswomen? Wanna buy seasonal, long-lasting flowers at affordable prices? Wanna zigazig ha? I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna really really really wanna zigazig ha. Okay. Sorry. Well, if you answered yes to any one of the above, you should shop here. It's a very personal experience and not intimidating like some other high-price floral shops. There's always a very nice spread of seasonal offerings around the kiosk to peruse, and someone always on hand to offer helpful advice on arrangements and care. And, it's always nice handing your money to the owner of an independent business and getting a nice smile and a heartfelt thank you in return. *Smile* *Bright Shine Reflecting Off Of Teeth* *Chime Sound* This place started out as Jayne selling in and around 100 Federal Street. Soon, the owners of the building built a large, outside kiosk for her to sell flowers while protected from the elements - go figure... She's kind of an institution in the Financial District. read more

LOVE this florist. It's a stand right on the corner of Federal Street and Franklin Street in the financial district of Boston. Very friendly, quick service and beautiful selection of fresh flowers. You can put together your own arrangement (w/ the help of the staff of course!) or buy a premade bouquet. Prices are very reasonable. A bundle of tulips is $8 and a dozen roses are between $10-12. A good FYI is that it's cash only if it's under $15. read more

Jayne did an amazing job on my wedding flowers: bridal bouquet, boutonniere, centerpieces, altar/mantel, flowers on my homemade wedding cake, and flowers for my hair. I was happy with all of the above, and I LOVED my bouquet! It was unique and incorporated all of the elements I wanted. She worked with me ahead of time to map out my preferences, get a feel for my taste/style, and work within my budget. I highly recommend using Jayne's Flowers for any special occasion. She does an absolutely wonderful job! As a side note, while I was meeting with her in her stand on Federal Street, it was clear that her customers are loyal and that she develops lifelong relationship with them. One woman came by with her 20-something year old son, who was interviewing for his first job nearby - just to introduce him to Jayne, who was delivering flowers from his father every week 20 years ago when they were dating. I mean... you can't get much more authentic than that. It was a special moment and I'm glad I was a witness to it. She has a special business and clientele. read more

I worked with Jayne for my wedding recently and it was such a great experience! Jayne's main business is not weddings, and she only takes on ones that will work with her. You basically put your flowers in her hands and she picks the best flowers in your colors with your outlines that are in season and pulls together beautiful arrangements! I was so pleased with all the flowers for our tables and the bouquets! And the guys' flowers held up throughout the night. It was fantastic. If you want a stress free flower experience, go with Jayne if she has time and will take you! She is also super reasonable for prices! read more

Even though this place is tight on space - they are never short on results. Jayne is a magician with color and is always so friendly and helpful. While they are priced for downtown clients, they are a fraction of the cost of a shop like Winston and their flowers are gorgeous and really hold up. I've been going to Jayne for years and I've yet to be disappointed. What they say is true - "happy wife, happy life" and Jayne's is a great start to keeping things happy. Thanks Jayne! read more

I knew two things - how much I wanted to spend and what flower the special lady friend likes. I headed over to Jayne's and provided her the info - she charged the exact amount I said - no extra BS for shipping/tax and she delivered a flower arrangement was extremely well received. Jayne rocks! I officially have a florist...weird. read more

I needed a florist who could do a pretty special request, and Jayne's was the one. I worked with a guy named David who went above and beyond. Since I don't live in Boston, I originally considered http://www.proflowers.com/. $40 for an arrangement of stargazers and irises-- including delivery -- sounded like an amazing deal. But then I read Yelp reviews saying that the flowers were delivered in a box and were usually pretty small, lame flowers. Luckily, I was able to cancel just in time -- I feared the delivered flowers would do more harm than good. So I called up Jaynes and said I had a special request. I had a picture of what I wanted (taken from proflowers.com website!), along with a fairly long message that I wanted to put on a card. David even gave me his personal email address so I could email the picture, the message, and all the other details to him. In total, I spoke to David 3 times over 3 days and it was A+ customer service each time. The pricing was fair -- he told me vased arrangements started at $40 and I told him $60 was my budget. The total was exactly that (+ tax and delivery) and, from what he told me, there were 20+ stargazers, which sounds pretty massive. I actually wish that he would've cut down the price if possible for a more modest arrangement, rather than giving me a full $60 worth because I didn't really know what $60 bought. But in any case, it sounded like he gave me my money's worth, so you really can't complain. The flowers were delivered by them personally to the apartment, for a $10 fee. $10 isn't cheap, but you'd rather have flowers delivered in person in the vase than pay $7 for it to be shipped in a box by FedEx. All in all, David was super understanding, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. He knew it was for someone special and he treated it that way. read more

I truly can not believe the arrangements that come from here! My fiance is always surprising me with a beautiful bouquet from Jayne's, and I am always amazed! They work magic here and don't break the bank! The flowers are fresh and stay that way (especially if you pay close attention to them, and change the water every other day)! Absolutely Lovely. read more

Incredible service for a last minute celebration. I called over to Jayne's on a Thursday afternoon at 2:00pm to see about a fall arrangement in the financial district for the same day. It was a rainy, nasty day, but David took my request and said he would follow up with me very shortly. Not even 10 minutes later he was in touch saying he could have the couriered arrangement over to the office by 5pm. It showed up at 4:30pm and looked incredible. It was quick, painless and EXTREMELY efficient. Could not have asked for a better experience and I absolutely would use them for delivery again. read more

I have used Jayne's twice in the past year, and just placed a 3rd order with them because they are THAT amazing. I used Jayne's for centerpieces at my company's holiday party last winter and they came out beautiful. I felt that they were very reasonably priced, especially for a downtown Boston florist. I used them again for bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony/chuppah decor for my own wedding. I got SO many compliments from my guests on how beautiful the flowers were :) And the icing on the cake? Jayne came in $400 under my budget...even after I had told them what my budget was. That is pretty much unheard of in the wedding industry. As a corporate event planner, I can greatly appreciate a reliable vendor when I come accross one, and Jayne's had hit the mark for flowers. I have just placed my third order with them for an upcoming event at my office. Jayne herself is a pleasure to work with, as well as the other folks at this business. read more

Ordered flowers for next day delivery, and they turned out amazing! They even contacted me to confirm if I meant to leave out my name in the note to the recipient (I did not, glad they reached out!). If I could make this 10 stars or more, then I would because Jayne and her son are awesome. It is hard to find the words to give them their due. My daughter got married in mid-November and we could not travel there from California. I found Jayne's shop online and when I called, she answered and was kind, thoughtful and listened to what my daughter wanted. She made a gorgeous bouquet, found some gardenias despite the challenges this year and also made an arrangement to match and a beautiful boutonniere. it was the most wonderful experience for me. I will be sure to use their services again and again and again. read more
