Rather disappointed in the state of the arrangement sent by my friend. Not the reaction i am sure he was hoping for, I am sure it was pricey, but it did not have any wow factor. The roses and other flowers seem to, in large part, have brownish bruised & creased petals. Possibly due to the time of year. Thought the person on the phone assured me that this bouquet was made especially for me, it really had the feel of some thing that had been sitting at the grocery store on the shelf for quite a while. I unfortunately missed the delivery person by only a few minutes and tried to call him to come and take it back. It is always fun to surprise someone with flowers. Sure, I wasn't the one surprising, nor the one surprised, but I did feel like an accomplice, since I accepted the delivery (the delivery person did need a photo taken of him with the bouquet to confirm the delivery - a plus in my book) and hand delivered it myself to the recipient. Oh, the joy of witnessing the pleasant look of surprise... Oh, who could the secret admirer be? I had a decent guess, but I spilled no beans while her mind buzzed happily at the possibilities. We live across the country and wanted to have fresh flowers delivered to our daughter, who lives in Boston, for her birthday. I looked up several flower shops and settled on Robin's Flower Shop and crossed my fingers. I was happy that they did next day deliveries and ordered the Timeless Beauty flower arrangement with balloons. I upgraded to the Deluxe arrangement for an additional $15 where they were to put more flowers in. My daughter was delighted to receive her flowers and balloons on her birthday at her work the next day. She texted me a pic and I was quite surprised at the minimal amount of flowers that were actually in the bouquet considering that I paid extra for more flowers - it was a lot less than just the standard one (see pics). I feel I definitely did not get what I paid for, considering I paid over $100 after delivery, for a flower arrangement that looked average with minimal flowers. read more

People often asked if they were from Winston. When I got married this past spring, my wife and I had a hard time finding a florist that fit our needs, and I suggested Robin's based on my experience with her at work.
