I live super close to this location and come here often for plants. However, on this particular day I just needed two small pieces of wood for my planters, to raise the new mums I bought. A very nice man directed me to the wood aisle and told me that there is a clearance section of wood that has previously been cut and they try to get rid of. He encouraged me to check it out. He even took the time to walk with me over there. We saw a slab of wood that seemed perfect in thickness but just needed to be cut into blocks. He took me to another employee that was in charge of the wood section who seemed clueless. I immediately got nervous as this man said that there was a minimum amount he was able to cut and that we would need to head over to the cut it yourself center/mobile station to saw it. I'm not sure if the saw blade was just dull or what, but this guy was struggling to cut it, not to mention walking down the aisles he was swinging it around almost hitting other customers. I even had to help him lift in onto the station because he wasn't sure how to lay it in correctly. I began to get embarrassed standing there anxiously waiting, also thinking to myself I could probably just do it myself a lot quicker and wanted to avoid a potential accident. Ultimately I asked him to stop as I grew impatient and picked two blocks myself that ended up being $10 each. They were square rosettes. I felt bad but I was ina rush. My husband was annoyed because I could've saved us money by using the original clearance piece of wood especially because I didn't need much of it. Lesson learned, wait for my husband before going to Home Depot for DIY items but my blocks did the trick and I'm proud of myself for figuring out a quick fix.

Forklift with safety beeper on all night

Horrible loud noises coming from here at night between 10pm and 6am. You can hear it from inside the closed apartments across the street. It keeps my family and I awake every night. This business lacks ethics and empathy for the community it serves. They start a loud night shift every night at 10pm with forklifts with loud beepers constantly going and banging from the forklift driving around. I don't know why they think it's ok to work like that at this time of the night. Obviously they have no care for others. This can cause migraines and other health issues. Shame on you!

I purchased my kitchen appliance set (refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher) from Home Depot 3 years ago and had the worst experience with their delivery and installation service. I had to schedule 3 separate deliveries because they weren't able to do it properly the first time and when they finally were able install all items they left my kitchen hardwood floors with deep scratches. Shame on me that I trusted the sales person at Home Depot that they have a new delivery and installation service that is operated by their company now (due to all of the issues they had with the previous one). I purchased a new washer and dryer and the delivery people were to arrive between 3pm-7pm but they didn't get to my house until after 8pm. Then they left the dryer sticking out 2 ft from the wall so it was halfway out in the middle of my laundry room. When I asked the installer why he left it like this he said that the air duct they were "given by Home Depot" was too long and I had to go to Home Depot myself to get and install a shorter one. Why he hell did I pay for parts and installation services then?!?!? I am never purchasing appliances from Home Depot again!!!

We spent a lot of time researching where to get them and saw many great reviews for Pryor's Nursery. I reached out with some questions and Wade was wonderful at addressing everything. He is incredibly knowledgeable and is happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have. Their prices were also very reasonable compared to other nurseries we looked at. We ended up purchasing 33, 10-foot tall green giant arborvitae and had Pryor's install them for us. The crew showed up on the day of the install and the trees were lush and many feet larger than we expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. Wade and his crew did a phenomenal job. They were respectful and clean. The installed trees and mulch bed look better than we could have hoped. They even installed a drip line with an automatic timer to help water all the trees! If you are looking for privacy trees, it'd be impossible to beat the quality, price, and professionalism of Pryor's Nursery!

We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.

Gawd; every time I come here I leave pissed off. Every time I come here, I remind myself why I…read moredon't come here. When will I remember? Absolute anuses work here - like the other reviewers say - they are dirty, rude, unprofessional, have bad attitudes. Prices are bait-and-switch. For instance, they have the mini tool boxes on sale right now, in a bunch of different colors. Very popular item for Christmas, and have good reviews online because the quality of the item for its price beats online Chinese brands and Snap-On. I pick one up because they are marked down from $20+ to 18.99, then 14.99, and then 12.99. I expect the 12.99 is the "Inside Track" member price, I figure the 14.00 (Biggest font) is the current price. Item rings up 18.99 and I'm like, whoah, isn't that supposed to be 14.99? Cashier hasn't a clue, asks the cashier next aisle over, he responds, that 14.99 is the "Inside Track" price. I ask what the 12.99 price is, he says that's the "Black Friday Inside Track" price. Join ($30/year) and come back Friday and it will be 12.99. So I have to spend $30 to save $6, and come back in three days. No gonna happen. Too, the basics they used to sell are now gone, and the store is a disheveled mess of products, the employees are constantly rolling carts of goods through the too-narrow aisles, blocking access to items. They offer the Heinz 57 varieties of the same tool. Look for 3/8" socket extensions - you will find probably 10 different SKU's of product, because they want to offer a 3-pack, a 6-pack, a 10-pack, impact sets, rainbow-colored sets, and 3-foot-long varieties. How about just cutting back to the top 2- or 3- selling SKUs and sell more, different things? Jack Stands: the fifty different shades take up practically their own aisle. Creepers, so many different varieties it broke my brain. I decided just to repair my 30-year-old existing one. Where's the brake-line-bleeding hose? No longer available.. you have to buy a brake-line bleeding kit. No replacement adapters, no caliper bleed valve replacement covers. But, hey, how about several thousand different flashlights? It used to be I could find so many different oddball things I needed, I seemed to always find what I was looking for, no matter how arcane it was. Not anymore. It's Socket-Set land. You know, HF has been upgrading the quality of the tools they sell over the past couple of decades. They now are on par with the now-defunct Craftsman brand, and way better than Home DipShiat's Kobalt. But why does it have to be such a friggin' anal-invasion-experience to actually go there and try to find something?
