My sister has told me countless times to book here, saying I wouldn't regret it, and she was absolutely right. I got lucky with a last minute cancellation and snagged a spot, and I'm so glad I did. I've had a lot of massages in my life, but my 60-minute session with Alexandra was truly out of this world. She was so kind, professional, and incredibly skilled. The rest of the staff was just as wonderful, warm, welcoming, and attentive. The space itself is clean, peaceful, and relaxing exactly what you want in a wellness setting. I just had a signature facial with Meghan. I was really impressed with her slow, gentle and thoughtful touch. Her face massage is excellent and she gave me a great massage on my forearms as well. Her conversation was completely predicated by my prompt rather than her being chatty. That was pleasant. :-) If we could just add a warm hand-mitt treatment, and include my décolletage, it would've been Nirvana. I know it's been a while, but I had a massage here with Tom a month ago. His touch is confident, supportive and thoughtful. I have noticed a subtle change in my pain levels and posture that has lasted. Not only is she well versed in skincare and the various techniques in treating whatever condition you may have, she's a hoot! This winter has been havoc on my sensitive skin, and thankfully, with guidance on products and techniques, it is finally coming under control! The location has plenty of street parking, and is always clean and well organized. I always look forward to my hour of calming music and lively conversation. You know you've had the best facial when you forget to put your bra back on and your pants are on inside out. Okay, that doesn't sound right but I think you get what I mean. Beautiful comfortable robes to wear during your service leaves you feeling warm, relaxed and completely pampered. Every time I leave I walk away feeling spoiled and cared for. I saw Heather for the first time a few days before Christmas and did not know what to expect. Several friends already had told me how good she was, so I had high expectations. She was very careful to discuss with me what I wanted to get out of the session, and communicated with me throughout to make sure I was comfortable. I had a lot of weird kinks in my back and she was able to release all of them. Her office is really easy to get to and really nice! No 1st year massage trade college graduates that poke and prod like inexperienced kids. Healing Garden nails both. **Environment** Convenient, warm, inviting, cozy, and comfortable. This is a great little hidden gem of a spot right across from the famous Twin Peaks café, nestled amongst the little shops and restaurants of downtown North Bend. Park right in front of the spa and walk into their immaculate what-you-expect-from-a-nice spa environment. **Expertise** I didn't see Heather on this trip, but her reputation with my friends was enough to go in 100% blind. This time I got to meet Martina Kowalke, whose skills and bedside manner are exactly what you should ask for in an LMP. Strong + knowledgeable means the most important thing: she can fix you and you'll come out relaxed and healed. Side note, if you're not into conversation, I'm sure they'll accommodate, but Martina is sharp and is the reason I'll be coming back. You'll be missing out if you don't chat with her for a little bit. You know that practitioner that you don't have to tell anything and she finds your trouble spots? I have about 6 and she found them all. I didn't give her any clues. What a lovely little spot. I have to say I was very impressed with this little gem in downtown north bend. It has the ambience, cleanliness and smell of what a spa should be like. It was decorated so cute, everything placed perfectly and purposely and very well maintained and very clean. My relaxation massage with Heather was great. She asked a few questions before getting started and then got to work. She was very in tune to my trouble spots and body language without me having to say a word. You know you have found a good therapist when can find the kinks and work them out without pointing them out. My hour and half massage flew by. She asked what type of pressure I wanted before getting started and checked in several times during my massage to make sure I was happy and comfortable. I like a fair amount of pressure and she delivered without it hurting. She used a nice citrus scent during my service which was refreshing and uplifting. I appreciated that she didn't try having a conversation with me during my service. There is nothing worse than going in for a massage and having a chatty therapist, right? I would recommend Heather and the Healing Garden in a heart beat, even to the pickiest. Her place is adorable and perfect. I felt her prices were very reasonable. I've been seeing Heather Lelas for massages for longer than I can remember! Heather remembers the issues I'm having every week and has a pretty good handle on how I'm doing. Her deep tissue massages are fantastic and really help me a lot. For my particularly tight muscles she uses cupping which does a fantastic job of loosening those muscles. I sit at a desk on a computer all day and Heather's massages take away a lot of the tension that my occupation brings on. It's been a minute since I have been to North Bend. Work has been keeping me super busy and I have not been able to get a massage.I have been neglecting my body with harsh workouts. I recently found out that Heather has made a switch to become an independent so I had to re-visit her! I have been getting amazing massages from her ever since she worked at the place down the block. No complaints here. It was only an hour long but I almost fell asleep, it felt amazing. Believe it or not, her massages have gotten better. I have been getting massages once every month for a long time until I had kids that are now 2 and 4 so its been a while since I have had a massage.
