I'm a man and having an occasional pedicure is something I look forward to. The foot massage and pampering is a relaxing experience. Today, I had the worst pedicure of my life. She spent the grand total of 17 minutes. I was not offered to have a clear coat put on, nor a foot treatment, and I felt like I was rushed to get out. Found this place accidentally. Such friendly staff and EXCELLENT quality manicure. They don't drill cuticles, but carefully cut - which is my preference. I think it was Trang who did mine, I am coming back. We watched the news about Ukraine on TV and chatted with another lady. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my small wedding party and my Mom and daughters. Confirmed appointment 48 hours before just to be sure. However, when we arrived (on time) they were not ready. All the chairs were full and we had to wait 30 mins for the first pedi to begin. My pedi was ok. They forgot to scrub my feet and went straight for doing my nails... Not what I generally get... No leg treatment or anything, just a quick soak and cuticle trim. They were really nice but Totally unprepared... After they turned away 2 girls (asking them to come back in a little bit) because we had filled their chairs (and were paying Accordingly) they began to hurry. I was the bride, and I Didn't even get my mani in a manicure chair... Not only Did it look awful (no acrylics or gels, just polish) 2 days later it peeled off like little girls nail polish, leaving my nails damaged and brittle. So sad we started late so I didn't even have the time to spare to ask them to fix it. $600 later (for all 8 of us) we left generally unsatisfied and wishing we had booked somewhere more familiar rather than close to the wedding site. Their prices are mediocre (we were charged $20 for a simple single-coat of purple nail polish on my 4-year-old's fingers!) the surface is clean and friendly but the end result was an utter dissapointment than wound up costing me $50 to get my manicure redone at a spa while I was on my honeymoon 3 days later. When I first had a pedicure at this salon a few years ago, I was impressed with the bowl liners they used. I went back 1-2 times year and was always satisfied. After my pedicure last month, I will NEVER return! After my mediocre pedicure, I remained in the chair while my polish dried. I don't have a smart phone to play on nor do I watch the talk shows on the TV, so I watched what was going on around me. I watched the tech who had worked on me go straight to the next customer with the same tools she had used on me. She did NOT sanitize them! She made the motions of going to the back room, but she was there less than 2 seconds and returned with the same cup of tools (very unique and easier to identify). I was horrified! Then, I watched another tech finish a manicure, go to the back for less than 2 seconds, and return with her same tools (again unique to her and easy to ID). She went straight to the next customer waiting for a pedicure. Again, no sanitizing! This is against the health code in the state of WA. I tried to talk to whom I thought was the owner/manager (she speaks good English) afterwards. When I described what I saw, she pretended not to understand. She perked up when I mentioned that it was a health violation and said she would "talk to them". I reviewed this salon here on Yelp immediately afterwards, but it was taken down last week by Yelp because it somehow "lacked firsthand customer experience". Really??? I was a customer sitting right there in the salon watching this happen. Doesn't get much more firsthand than that. I'm betting the owner complained about a bad review.... BEWARE!!! This is a newer nail salon in Snoqualmie Ridge and I'm definitely a fan! They are always fast, courteous and SUPER clean- always the most important quality in a nail place. Their prices are on par with other nail salons in the area- $30 for a pedicure, $20 for an acrylic fill. One thing to mention is that they have disposable liners in their pedicure chairs, so you never have to worry about any yucky germs. :) read more

They do a great job on nails if you can get past being harassed by the owner. She is very rude and clearly must not need the business. I made an appointment at 1 pm for 5 pm. I walk in at 5 and she says, " you said two people." I said, "no, just me." She then proceeds to argue with me about making an appointment for two people. I then said my name (which didn't match the name of the 2 people appointment) and let her know I called at 1 pm. She then said that I never called to make an appointment. So I just want to get my nails done and she said they had room since her two person appointment was a no show. Good gravy. With three salons in town I'm choosing another one. I've gone to this salon since they opened for manis and pedis. There French manicure for a regular polish lasted a week. Which is pretty good. Most of the ladies don't speak English very well. One of the ladies is very rough and stabbed me with the cuticle cutter. She looked kinda disheveled too. It's an OK salon. Don't bother making appointments they don't keep them, you will wait while walkins who arrived just before you are serviced first. read more

Awful service! I called to see if they had time for mani/pedi and she said yes and I got there they sat me down and started working on my feet and said they would do my nails. Then someone walked in to see if they had time for mani and she simply looked at me and said sure to the walk in. She got up and started to do the walk in and I sat in my chair for almost 45 minutes without them not even soaking my nails to get the shellac off. I finally said something that I probably couldn't stay there for another 30/40 minutes to do my nails. I was there from 3:50 to 5:00 and they ended up not doing my nails because I had to leave by 5. I'm so annoyed I wasted my time going there with so many other choices. I was leaving for a trip the next day and needless to say I was disappointed to not have my nails done. Hesitant after some of the reviews but I was in a pinch and didn't want to wait until tomorrow to get a pedi. So I decided to give these guys a shot, local to the area and never been before. The best pedicure I have ever received honestly. She took so much time shaping my nails and making them look perfect. Only thing that was weird to me is they had me get up immediately. Usually like to sit and let my nails dry for a few before moving anywhere justto let the polish set. Great quality. Nice liners for pedicure stations. Very clean. I had my first pedicure ever at Diamond Nails and I think I'm an addict. We walked in with no appointment and even though they were somewhat busy, we were kicking back in a comfortable massage chair, feet soaking in no time. A woman who I think may be the owner pointed to the article from the Snoqualmie Valley newspaper listing them as the best local nail salon and explained to me that they use disposable liners for their soaking tubs to reduce the risk of getting funk from someone that sat there before you. I'm a bit germphobic so I was happy to hear that. After a nice foot soak, they trimmed my nails and massaged my feet and thighs. I had a very hard time sitting still for the little pumice rub they did. I was laughing so much I nearly fell out of my chair. Apparently I have very ticklish feet. They wrapped things up by painting my toe nails. I'm not a girly girl, but when they said they'd do little flowers on my big toe, I had to go with it. While I don't see myself doing this every week, I could see it being a once or twice a month indulgence that I'll allow myself to have. read more

I simply love Diamond Nails for sooooo many reasons. First and foremost they do an amazing job. The nail technicians are the best around! They are wonderful people and talented at their work. Second the location is just superior. I live on Snoqualmie Ridge and they are right near home. Now for the problem. There is only one! They don't keep appointments. You can make an appointment. They just don't honor them. They take walk-ins in front of you. I don't even understand the system. It kills me. What should be a relaxing experience turns out to be frustrating. Please, please read this and change your policies. I tip really, really well. I am loyal to the establishment. I understand if I don't have an appointment I take what I get. Super nice ladies! I made a same day appointment for my first visit (mani-pedi), but it was clear that they welcome walk-ins. Establishment: Local, easy to park, open & well-lit, daffy movies on the tv. :) Service: I think I might have struck the mother-lode of luck/awesome.... or they are SUPER cool. Knowing that I wasn't in a rush, they pampered me for over an hour. The calf-rub wasn't the world's best, but how often do you also get a neck/shoulder massage????? Results: My toes are adorable. It's unnerving. They've never been adorable before. My nail polish was demolished in less than 1.5 days. All edges, all nails, gone. I'm hardly a dainty lady, but that seemed curiously short-lived. Most of that time was spent on airplanes, not washing dishes or digging in dirt. Hrmmm. Opinion: Reasonable/good price! Professional, nice, relaxing. The nail polish made me sad (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) Misc: Maybe the disposable liners help sterility? But the bubbler-thingie (my official term) are openly swapped from one tub to the next. *shrug* read more

I have gone to Diamond since they opened so I think I can give longer term view of their service. If you call for an appointment, there is no guarentee they will take your right away when you show up. It is better if you walk in and not in a big hurry. Pedicures have always been good and full treatment. They are pretty clean and have not had any issues . Manicure, is ok but have had shellec peel on me after a week. Overall, the salon is on par with most of the places on the eastside and the ladies that work there are very nice. I do think they try to make your experience a good one. read more

I would give less than 1 star but there is no option. I was the first one there at 9:30 (they were actually late in opening). While I understand it was a Saturday I did "walk-in" for a shellac nail manicure and pedicure. I was told all they could do was a polish change as they had appointments in 45 minutes. They said I should come back (very rudely I might add). I told them, "no, I don't think I will ever come back." Be aware that they are not walk-in friendly. There wasn't even anyone in the salon. They lost my business before it even begun. If they had only been nice it would have been a different story. I then went down to Snoqualmie Nails and had a terrific experience. I went to this salon because I had heard good things about it, but my experience was not that great. I had a pedicure and the lady that worked on me was very rough and she dug at my toes.
