Time to try Nice Nails again! I have been going to nice nails for over two decades and had always loved the people, and had been content with their services. Now, the new owners have made significant upgrades that have genuinely elevated our nail experience. Don't bother stopping at Starbucks, they will offer a complimentary beverage upon entering (you must try their Vietnamese coffee, though I did see some adult beverage options as well) I was offered a book of color choices (both matte and glossy) which is much easier to use than the plastic nail samples on a chain, which was also available. There has also been an upgrade to their esthetics. The nail stations have a lovely lighting system, the chairs appear new, and there are other details as well As you can see from my pictures, I am not interested in glamour nails. As many women in North Bend, i need my hands and feet to appear well groomed, and functional. Like many northwest women, I ask a lot from my hands. With a well shaped, neutral, matte dip manicure, my hands will appear nice for up to three weeks without chipping breaking or peeling. I also like feeling pampered and the salon and staff know how to pamper. Don't be shy when ordering the pedicure! I only ordered the basic, with a 5 minute massage, Next time I will be upgrading to the 15 minute massage, the massage I got with my pedicure was amazing! And making the appointment online was such a simple process! Now I can call my girlfriend at 9 in the morning, agree to meet for nails, and make an appointment immediately! The drop in had worked well enough, in the past, but the online appointment scheduling with the text reminders is really helpful. read more

Went in for a removal and full acrylic set. They did the usual drill/file off the top layer for all nails, and then proceeded to rip the acrylics off of one hand using cuticle cutters and their own hands. Ended up with a major split halfway up my pinky nail, fully exposing the nail bed and lifted to the point that I could see empty space between my real nail and the nail bed. My thumb nail was also ripped partially on the nail bed, but lower down and not as severe, and she did not bother to cut off the loose piece of nail, instead just gluing the fake nail on top of it. Meanwhile they had me soak the other hand in a bowl of acetone for 15+ minutes, so they could have easily done the same to remove the nails on the botched hand. Now I'm actively trying to fight off an infection underneath the acrylic/nail on my pinky and am in immense pain because of it. It is one day after the service and when I squeeze the side of my pinky, puss and blood comes out. I will add that I alerted the technician to the exposed nail bed and split nail when she started on the new full set, which she showed minimal to zero regard for. I should have just left after the removal. Would give a 2-star review solely because she overall shaped them alright, but my thumbs are two different shapes, she cut multiple of my fingertips with the nail file in the process, and my cuticles are absolute messes. read more

Before finding Heidi, I visited many places but was never satisfied because my nails would crack within a few days, and sometimes the skin around my nails would get irritated. The woman doing my nails was too busy talking to her coworkers to look at what she was doing. I asked her not to shorten my nails so she "shaped" them just to shave many of my nails short and uneven. She also destroyed the skin around my toenails by buffing a file over the tops of all my toes, and cut me multiple times because she wasn't looking when cutting my cuticles. Scraped off my previous polish with a cuticle pusher instead of using nail polish remover, and the paint job was horrendous. Only about 80% of each nail was painted. I needed my nails to look nice for a wedding but now I have misshapen nails and scabs on my fingers and toes. Never to return. read more

Do not go to this nail salon. I got my nails done here and the customer service is terrible, the nail lady was watching YouTube the entire time I was getting my nails done and was not paying attention to what she was doing. She cut my finger MULTIPLE times during the manicure. There is nail polish all around my finger and there is glue stuck to my fingers. They were saying bad things about me and you can tell. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and these nails were very expensive and do not even look like what I asked for. She was also very aggressive with the nail filer. I came in for a Shellac French manicure at around 2pm on a Tuesday. There was only one other customer there, and 2 employees. There are 6 pedicure massage chairs and 3 manicure tables. The salon is clean and neat. Lots of choices for colors, including some Shellac colors I hadn't seen in other salons yet. The stylist who did my manicure was friendly. It was apparent the other customer who was there was a regular as they referred to her by name and she seemed to know the employees. The only downside so far was that the two employees talked to each other in I think Vietnamese the whole time...I didn't mind too much, I guess otherwise it would be dead quiet in there. There's a TV but it wasn't turned on. There was no radio or any music on in the background either. My manicure looks very nice and both employees were friendly. I paif $30 for the french shellac manicure which included a nice hand massage. I will come back to this review in a week to update how my manicure held up. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone seeking a clean friendly place to get their nails done. read more

I've only been here a couple times, when my usual nail place is all booked and I have to get a nail fixed. Every single time, they cut my cuticles and make them bleed. To make it worse they sprayed alcohol on my fingers which didn't help with the stinging. I don't recommend this place and will probably not be coming back. read more

Great Shellac Manicure. A friend of mine gets her nails done at Nice Nails and her Shellac Manicure lasts for three weeks! They do a nice job on the French Manicure Shellac, in particular. I went to have my nails done and they were busy, so I made an appointment for the next day. I got right in and they did a nice job. I will admit they trimmed one cuticle a little short but I will simply ask them to be careful next time. I am definitely going back! This place is severely underrated. I've been coming here since we moved to North Bend from the west side last summer. I seriously don't go anywhere else anymore. They give the best shellac manicures, better than any other salon. If my nails didn't grow so fast, I would only have to get my nails done once a month because they never chip. The girls who work here are also SO nice and always have the nicest things to say despite how hard they work. They get really busy sometimes with all their regular clients but they are fast even with all their chairs full! read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! The owners are SO rude. When I asked how long it would be, she just said rudly... "pick a color". Well, she didn't answer my question and then I waited soaking my feet for 30 minutes. I should have demanded an answer when I asked how long because I really didn't have that much time to waste. Anyway, the man did my toes and was very rough. Cut into my skin a few times and hurt me. I was hoping for a nice massage, it was so rushed. Didn't want to argue, but I know I won't go back.
