Great Clips - Barbers Near Me - Snoqualmie, Washington

it's almost been a year since i've went here. But i want to share my experience. my friend told me to go here to my my next hair cut. so that's what i did. I booked an appointment for later that day. once i arrived i waited for a little bit and then it was time. i told the lady what i wanted and then she got started. (it was about to close when they started). i had long thick hair and all i asked for was a little trim. the night before i had gotten no sleep so i started to close my eyes. some how i fell asleep. the person that was cutting my hair didn't wake me up until she was done. A few hours later the hairdresser woke me up. It was now about 8pm. The salon was now closed. it was very dark out. They had buzzed my hair and bleached it blond. Never come here read more

Soni was very warm and did a great job with my facial. I highly recommend her. She is really good with her massage technique and I could relax easily read more

Went to Snoqualmie Great Clips. it was easy to get appointment. my hair cut was done quickly and efficiently done AND I get compliment. Jay was awesome. he recommended a product that I now use. great conversation read more

I put my name on the list before I left home, waited almost an hour when I arrived and then felt like the guy cutting my hair couldn't cut fast enough so he could move on to the next person. I had a photo of the style I wanted which was a basic cut, yet the end result looked nothing close to the photo. My hair was all one length and I was adding a fringe, yet my hair still has no fringe. He didn't even offer to shampoo my hair, which I always look forward to when getting my hair cut. I was made to feel like I was in a warehouse or a cattle call. No conversation, no service and no style. I won't go back and I hope nobody else gets treated like this. If they are too busy, they need to turn off the checklist until they get caught up. read more

They must be doing something right cause this place always has a 75 minutes wait. Hot tip: use the app to book ahead. My son has gotten his hair cut here a couple of times, I know Jay did it once and so did Sharona. My son has autism and tends to be squiggly and they both did fine with him. My daughter has come in for bang trim and was fine. My mom stopped in to have her curls cut and Sharona did amazing. Today I took the plunge. I normally go to a high-end salon and pay between $200 - $300 for cut, color, and style. I have been trying to get into the said salon for 2 months now and there was no availability. I walked in and they had time to take me on the spot because the people who suppose to show up hadn't yet. She washed my hair, and proceed to work on my inverted pop that had grown out. She worked fast and quick, and was done in less than 40 mins! Go ahead and take chance. Just use the app to book ahead of time . read more

The guy that works there is horrible. We checked in online and it said we had a 0min when we got there. We arrived around 5:15pm and checked in at the desk, but he said he needed 15min to cut the hair of the person in front of us. So we went next door to get ice cream for my son to kill some time. We came back at 5:30 (mind you, they don't close until 6pm) and he had LOCKED THE DOOR. I knocked on it, as the person whose hair he was cutting was still in his chair, and he came over and opened the door literally 2inches and asked us to come back tomorrow between 9-6pm because he was going home for the night. Seriously? So rude & not okay. He knew we were coming back, we had an actual appointment on the app and he literally told us to come back in 15. I never would have killed time with ice cream, I would have just gone home if he said they were closing but he told us to wait 15min. And not for nothing, we had pre-checked in on the app (and there was someone checked in on the app after us too) so he shouldn't have been closing early to go home. Unbelievably rude and just terrible customer service all around. Don't ever go in the evening if you want a haircut. read more

I appreciate the familiar faces at Great Clips. Trevor, Sharona, Rita all have cut my hair. They do a good job quickly. I recommend checking in online instead of walking in or you might be in for a wait. It's helpful that they pull up info on the last haircut you got. read more

Sharona did a great job with my terrified toddler. Started off screaming but had him smiling by the end. We will be back for more haircuts. Thanks Sharona! read more

We had had great service here the past couple years but it's gone downhill. The last time I was here I'm pretty certain one of my kids got lice (one day after the cut he had one adult with several eggs). I gave the benefit of the doubt that it could have been picked up somewhere else, though I'm skeptical. This time Sharona cut my 5 year olds hair and it was terrible. She kept asking me if that's really what how its been cut before (ummm.. Yes, and by your much more competent coworker, Jay.) she kept yanking him up in the seat and grabbing his face to adjust his head. He even said ow twice. It'll be our last time here.... read more

The place is very expensive. It is good when they have coupons. The atmosphere is family friendly and jovial due to people that work there. Jay does good haircut. No experience with the other staff. read more

Sharona is great ! The customer upset about the mask requirement ( on Sunday 8/22/21) needs to get a life.... hey I don't like masks and I think they are useless but hey... they are just doing what the state requires. read more

Don't know how these people they hire their styles? Been there already twice going thru 2 different employees who I had to mention to them where they should correct for a simple trim haircut .. no style at all .. simple trim.. in addition, they don't rinse your hair and they charge more than other barbershops in the same class. Never going again. read more

This place does get pretty busy being its the only quick hair cut place on the ridge but they're quick, friendly and get it right. I come back for Amy because she's truly the best. Listens, cares what you want and does a consistent good job. Thanks Amy! read more

I generally go to Hairmasters in Issaquah but decided to give this location a try as I live in Snoqualmie. I regret it! I can't speak to other employees but stay away from Rita - she's incompetent and rude and IMHO has no hair cutting skills or experience whatsoever. Terrible that Great Clips is hiring such low caliber people providing sub-standard service. Never again! read more

Fast service and they do a great job on my hair! The staff are very kind. They are very quick and it's very clean. I usually don't have to wait long for a haircut here. I like it! read more

I went in yesterday to get my hair straightened out from a bad haircut I received last from from a popular stylists in the valley. I didn't trust her to go back to have her fix her mistake. I was greeted when I walked in the door, I waited 5 mins for a stylists. The stylists listened to me and cut my hair exactly like I wanted it and fixed the issues I was having with my hair. Overall I was please with the service at this location. read more

They do fine cutting my son's hair, it's the lack of customer service that is difficult to deal with. Both times I've been I felt like I was intruding when I walked in- no smiles, no friendly greetings, just kind of "what are you doing here? Ok, have a seat" with no idea how long for...we signed up ahead the 2nd time only to be told when we walked in that we were not next (we were #1 on the list, but sure ok). My son is 5, and I just needed to know how long ...should I take him on a walk? Drive and come back? Communication is so important. Also maybe "So sorry, but we are having a few techinical difficulties- we will be with you as soon as we can." That's all you have to say. Try to care. read more

One of the most disgusting places I have EVER been!!! The station where I was sat had about 15-18 people's hair all over it, stylist did not listen, when she used the scissors she tried to scrape previous people's hair off of them but was not successful so she used them anyway...I wouldn't take my friggin dog here. I'm forever sorry I brought my boys here a while back. We have been to great clips in the past but in issaquah...never here...never again! F'n gross!!!Dirty and unsanitary. If you enjoy head lice please....come here. read more

THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN. After walking into the shop. i had shown the barber what I would like my hair to look like. after that she asked how many inches I would like off the top and said about half an inch. When the haircut was done. I was left with a terrible mess of hair. she took about 3 inches off my hair. then proceeded to take even more hair off while "trying" to blend my hair. I will never be coming here again. read more

Really appreciated the staff here and the great cuts! Every time I go here I am promptly acknowledged and often get right in. I don't mind if there is a wait because the cut is affordable and I feel that they do a great job every time. I highly recommend this place! read more

As I pulled up to the store and took a quick look at the reviews, I was very apprehensive, but needed a haircut badly, so I took my chances (my layered cut is not rocket science after all.) Jay cut my hair. He was nice, knew what he was doing, and I was very pleased with the cut. Thanks, Jay! This Great Clips charged $5 more for my cut than any other GC I've been to in the past. Gotta love Seattle outskirts. I went one to enjoy a wonderful day visiting Snoqualmie. No regrets! read more

My son just came from haircut at the Snoqualmie Great Clips and his hair looks nothing like the picture he used as example for the style. Obviously you get what you pay for and this stylist should be grooming pets instead of cutting people's hair. read more

So slow!! stylist was rude and didn't cut my hair as I requested, way too short! can't even pull my info from their checkin system.

My sons have gotten the hair cut here multiple times. Price is good, service is great. Love coming back here every time!

Friendly environment and the staff pay great attention to detail. Great job!

They are nice enough and fairly confident, but SLOW. Checked in with my son and waited nearly an hour. It was standing room only with 20+ people waiting and two of the four stylists took 20 minute breaks between each hair cut. It was unbelievably annoying. The other two took about 45 minutes per haircut and one was doing a bald guy. Seriously, no respect for your time here. read more

Awful! My dad dropped me off here one time for a long overdue haircut. We walked in, and were told we would have to wait for about 15 - 20 minutes, but I ended up waiting 50 instead. So I was there alone, and the hair stylist I got (I dont know her name, she had orange-ish/red-ish hair, was short, and had an accent) Was very mean. She told me numerous times to sit up straight. (I was trying my best! I wasn't even slumped down or anything) Overall, she was just giving off a snooty mood/manorism. After about 5 minutes, she made a facial expression that rudely showed she was grossed out, and asks "Do you put oil in your hair??" Now, I have good hygene, and its not like my dandruff is terrible, if any. Maybe it was because I hadnt showered that day, although I did the day before so I really didn't know what she was annoyed about. Finally, she evidently couldn't handle it anymore, and told me to get up so she could wash my hair. Seriously. I got up and had to be seated in the hair washing chair, and after her literally shampooing my hair, she said I was done, and that I could get up, so I got up. I don't know what I did wrong because when I did she started rapidly saying No, and a little bit of water spilled on the floor. I apologized and she frustratedly said "It's fine." I'm a very shy and quiet person when it comes to situations like this, so I didn't talk much other, than sorrys. After waiting a bit more my dad got back and tipped like 20 bucks, because he thought the lady at the desk (Who looked very kind and sweet) was the one who cut my hair (she wasn't). I was going to tell him to not tip, but didn't want to be rude, so I didn't. Not a good experience at all. read more

They are great, everyone that works there. Camille in particular is awesome. Highly Recommended.

We've been here several times and quite a few of the staff are visibly racist and show attitude to the people of color! We go there just for *Lamia and Sharona who treat us well and are very professional. You can see some kind of a tension in between their staff too. We def prefer to go to hair Masters in Issaquah instead read more

I have been going to great clips for a few years now and I never had a bad experience. I recently moved to Snoqualmie and I started visiting this location purely out of convenience. Despite the wait times here always being high (only because they never staff more than 2 people) I have been to this place three times with less than satisfactory experience, with the last one being purely frustrating. I signed in using the app at 10:30AM with an estimated wait time of 63 minutes. I arrived at the salon at 11:45 (10 or so mins past the estimated time), and was surprised to see my name was not on the list. I explained this to the stylist who came to check me in and was surprised at the response. She said "the system won't keep you on for the whole day. You should be here early and make your appointment". I wasn't upset at what she said, but the condescending tone in which she said it. She spoke rudely and when I said I wasn't more than a few minutes late, she didn't seem to care. For the first time, I felt I was standing in line and paying someone to be treated badly. She offered to put me at the bottom of the waitlist with a 82 minute wait time but I refused and walked out. Got into my car, checked into the issaquah great clips (2 min wait time) , reached 15 minute after the estimated wait time and was still received with pleasant smiles and got a haircut. I don't think I will ever visit the Snoqualmie great clips ever again. The 15-20 minute drive to issaquah is well worth being treated with respect. read more

I brought my 4-yr-old son Jack in for a quick haircut. We've been to this facility before and while we've never had a great experience, the location is convenient and my son is comfortable enough there, so we've just kept coming back. But this morning was our last visit. I was greeted by Camille who was sitting in a chair when I walked in. She did not have a customer. Kim, the other hairdresser there was just wrapping up with her customer; they were at the register paying. Camille asked if I had called ahead and I said no. There were a couple names on the call ahead list but no customers were actually there but us; nobody waiting, and two hairdressers who did not have a customer. She told me 45-50 minutes. I was surprised, considering there was nobody there! I said, really? There's nobody here and my son is no trouble at all. Then she said she would help him. I thanked her and then she changed her mind and asked Kim if she could cut his hair. Kim immediately looked and me and with a very snooty attitude, told me I would have to wait. At this point, I was completely astonished by the way I was being treated and spoke up explaining that I wasn't trying to rush her but didn't deserve to be treated this way. There was nobody in the store!!! So I sat down with my children and we read a book while Camille SWEPT THE FLOOR OF THE ENTIRE SALON and Kim chatted with her customer outside and then STOOD OUT BACK, presumably and obviously to postpone having to help us. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW BADLY I WAS TREATED. About 10 minutes later, the two call-ahead clients walked in, while we were still sitting there, and they were immediately helped ahead of my son. At this point, I was in tears and got up to leave. My son was upset and I explained to him, in front of everyone in earshot, that these two women were not being nice and did not want to help us so we were going to go to a different salon where we would be treated better. Neither woman said goodbye and just stared as we walked out and started whispering to each other. I've heard of this type of thing happening to others but, until today, it had never happened to us. Not this bad. We left and drove to the Great Clips in Issaquah Highlands where we were greeted with smiles, helped within 10 minutes of arrival, the employees were all kind, and Jack received a fantastic haircut from Kristin. read more

After waiting for 15 min he asks me for my phone number again. Find out that he never checked me in the first time so I had to wait yet another 15 min. Really??? Great service (not)..... And he has this big grin on his face like "not a big deal". Not worth the wait time anyway - you can get better haircuts any where else. read more

We have been going to this location for years. It is a friendly environment but the competency is another story. Each haircut is a spin at the wheel, I have assumed that they document what was done after each hair cut (they always reference the computer screen) but this last time, my son had told them he wanted to keep it long but when he was done, his head was essentially shaved! YOU have to be the HELICOPTER parent, even with older children, as they do not come to ask you if the child isn't sure. I was less than 10 feet away and she never checked with me. Just be careful when you go there and don't rely on the stylist. read more

I have had good experiences before with this place but today was totally not so! The lady, I have no idea who she was but she was older, didn't understand what I was clearly describing. She couldn't even understand the picture I showed her with a clear image of what the hairstyle looked like! I had to stop her from shaving all of my sides because that was clearly not what I said nor what the picture looked like. She did what I asked for one side of my head and shaved the other, the way I specifically told her not to. She could not understand that the sides were even different lengths. When I go to a salon looking for a hair cut and styled a certain way, I usually ask them to show me how to style it. Most people happily showed me how to style it. Not this lady, she gave me the brush and said "you style it". I now know that the next time I go here, I will specifically ask for the person that has given me good haircuts previously. If you go here, make sure that you have a specific stylist that you have had good haircuts with before. You never know who is working here and how qualified they are! read more
