Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business for individuals seeking true deep tissue massage, injury-focused treatment, or ongoing therapeutic support for chronic pain conditions. It felt more like a spa-style relaxation massage than a treatment-oriented session. Prospective clients should also be aware of potential insurance reimbursement issues. I was told the business would provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement, but the document provided contained only a CPT code and did not include diagnosis (ICD-10) information. I provided a referral from my healthcare provider containing the appropriate diagnosis codes, as well as documentation from my insurance company requesting that the diagnosis information be included on the superbill. Despite having both documents, the owner refused to update the form or include the diagnosis codes. As a result, my claim could not be processed and I was responsible for the full cost out of pocket. My concern is not that reimbursement was denied, but that the business advertises providing superbills for insurance reimbursement while refusing to include diagnosis information necessary to support a medical claim. Every other massage provider I have used for insurance reimbursement has included both CPT and diagnosis codes on their superbills. Had I known this business would not provide that information, I would have chosen a different provider.
