I dropped in here... First time. Cindy was my server... Very friendly. She recommended the burger... And they serve Guinness zero. For guys like me that no longer drink... That's a real find. Most places only have the Heineken zero. The bar feels like a Irish pub... Good music... Retro. read more

Booked for a birthday dinner for my son. When we arrived 2 waitresses yelled at us from the bar, when we said we had a reservation one finally came over to seat us. We placed our drink order, 35 minutes passed and we still did not get our drinks nor had our food order been taken. We asked about our drinks and very rude waitress came over stating "have you ever worked as a bartender or server? Well then you know how long it takes to make a cocktail". When told we had in fact run a bar she told us "we don't tolerate people talking to us like this". How are we talking to you? You questioned us and we answered. You didn't like the answer. No apology for waiting 45 minutes at this point for 2 drinks. Contacted the owner who put me in contact with his manager I'm sure was this wonderful individual who told me there "was some confusion". I have had many complain about this establishment but until this day we had never had an issue and enjoyed the food. We won't be back! This is not how anyone should be running a business. We waited. 35 minutes giving them the benefit of the doubt and ended up leaving and going elsewhere for impeccable service. Thanks for nothing! read more

We came in on a Friday night, knowing it would be busy. Servers were nice and it looked like they had a system going between them. You are getting three stars for the server because she dealt with a less than happy customer perfectly so we didn't want to complain about our food. She had her hands full. Drinks were great! Appetizers deep fried pickles tasted like fish and breading was over cooked, we had to remove the breading to eat the pickles. Spinach dip was yummy but the pita chips were over cooked and oily. Three of us ordered wings and fries. The wings were good. My husband loved the fries. My sweet potato fries were burnt. I took mine home so I could try again - went to the trash. Also-I worked in a kitchen for 7 years and have to say it was nice seeing the kitchen staff getting along and having fun while working. We might give it a 2nd try. read more

There is something happening here and it isn't good. Service was ridiculously poor and the attitude on the server was hostile. It took almost 20 minutes to get a beer and then the servers tells us that she has "a large group in the other room" so we "won't see" her for awhile. It took longer to get our mediocre food than it would have to walk to BVR or Mill Creek, which is what we should have done. After the food was delivered unceremoniously the server turned around and walked away, not even a feigned interest in how we were doing of if we'd like another drink. Service was awful the last time we were here and now we've discovered that it hasn't improved. There won't be a third visit. read more

I'm giving them 3 stars as my dining companion really enjoyed her pub pie and the service was pretty good. I was not happy with my meal. My complaint is with the lobster linguine I ordered. I love lobster and don't mind paying for it. Problem was it was that fake stuff. It's not right to advertise something as lobster and charge for lobster yet deliver that crap flavored pollock stuff. Nope. To our servers credit she substituted something else for me at no charge and a 20% discount was applied to our bill. That fake lobster/crab stuff doesn't fool anyone with a palate. Serve what you advertise or take it off the menu. read more

Food: Went to this pub a couple weeks ago on a Saturday. Made a reservation and told them we were coming in for their prime rib special. When we got to the restaurant at 5 pm we were one of three tables. We ordered the prime rib and the server came back and said that prime rib had 30 minutes left in the oven as it was put in late. We were fine with that and decided to wait. When our dinners came out about 50 minutes later my medium rare prime rib came out medium well and I sent it back. Got a medium piece which I was okay with but the fries were cold by the time it came back. Our popovers were more like muffins, made a comment at the end to the server. It was a good meal when we finally got everything we had asked for. Service: for having three servers on and about 10 tables we really had pretty terrible service. We were never asked if we wanted new wine and beer, we had to flag down our server and other times the other servers to get our drinks filled. There was never a check in to see how the food, etc. I won't be hurrying back there are plenty other places to go in Orangeville. read more

I hate to complain but this was the worst service I've ever had. I can't even comment on the food, which could be great but I would never know as I couldn't even order. It took 10 minutes before a drink order was taken and then another 20 to 30 minutes before our waitress came back to see if we wanted to order from the menu , without being told the specials. Its unfortunate as the waitress was the one that ruined our experience by being rude so we didn't want to stay. I'd look elsewhere for go as Orangeville has some great restaurants. read more

Fantastic pub!! The food is totally under rated, I've traveled across Canada far and wide and have tasted oysters everywhere. Aside from "straight outta the ocean" in Nova Scotia, this is my favourite place to grab them. The staff is beyond over-the-top friendly and the owner goes out of his way to please every guest. Can't beat half price happy appy hour between 3-530!!! Spin dip easily best in town :) read more

Dont go here for the food. I have not been in years as the food was always bad, we decided to give it another go as it had been years since we were last here. We ordered nachos as starters and they were completely dry and overdone with very little cheese. 2 of us ordered butter chicken curry 30 minutes apart and they were completely different. The first one looked like and tasted like butter chicken. The second did not even closely resemble the first curry thatbareived at the table, in look and taste, and tasted nothing like butter chicken curry. We were told different cooks make it differently. The second didn't even resemble curry so that cook should be fired. I ordered liver and got 2 tiny pieces that were dry. Another ordered chicken penne bake and there was very little pasta and chicken, just tons of cheese. Gross. Another ordered steak sandwich and he said it was tough. The service was polite but with a definite undercurrent of attitude and snarkiness. Waste of money and time. Its really only a place to go for beer. read more
