    Menu 2025

A local brewery with a wide selection of beer and food options. Extra star for having a unique flight called the skateboard, which allows you to try every beer on the menu and it comes on a skateboard! We washed all the beer down with some chicken wings and pizza. Out of the two, I would recommend the pizza as I found the chicken wings a little dry. I liked that the pizza was in a Detroit style, and had plenty of toppings. Friendly service and lad back atmosphere.

Pretty River Lager to start the evening

Tuesday evening, and the Northwinds is somewhat busy. I started off with a pint of Pretty River Lager, promptly served by my waitress. After a brief review of the menu, I selected a personal pizza, The Capri. Several meats listed, I'm eager to try it. I'll say, the Capri was delicious! The fresh toppings were amazing, and the sauce exceptional. Calling it a "personal pizza" is a stretch. This could easily serve 2 persons. Overall, the Northwinds was a fantastic experience. Exceptional food, Excellent service. Many thanks to Roxy!

Nice looking pub with a cottage kind of feel. There's an open kitchen so you can see and smell the delicious dishes. The Detroit style pizzas look legit. My nephew ordered the skate flight. You get 14 5 oz glasses of beer. I will post updated review once I try the food. I ordered the Hot Honey brisket mac & cheese. My wife got the Halifax Donair. Both were so delicious. Donair meat is a combination of beef and lamb. We also enjoyed the generous serving of beet salad. My mother-in-law got the fish and chips. You get a massive piece of crispy haddock, served with house made tartar sauce, pickle, root slaw, and fresh cut fries. My nephew ordered the wings they were decent size and coated in honey garlic sauce. Overall, nice dining experience and server was friendly and polite. They have a shop where you can purchase their beer, cider, clothing and hats. We liked the seltzer rasbeery yuzu and bought a pack of 6 to go. If you make the trip to Collingwood I recommend coming here for a flight of beers and bar food. Cheers.

If you want to dine at a place that has lots of beer options and decent food, look no further! You can see the tanks where they brew their beer from the dining room. I love places that have a kids menu that does not suck. Give me more options than just chicken strips, please. Their kids menu does not suck. Our boys had an excellent deep dish style pizza and fish and chips. The beer pretzels were great, and I got the fish tacos as my main even though it is listed as an appetizer. The tacos and fish portions per taco are huge. All in all, the food is good. You can order a flight of beers if you want to sample multiple and they have other alcoholic options if you are not a beer drinker. The place was busy; a very good sign.

Ceaser salad (yum) calamari and steak salad

Local craft brewery and beer is excellent. Lots of choices too. Checked flag has a coffee taste which is amazingly good. I had the cucumber mojito seltzer and it was so light and tasty. For meals we tried the shaved steak sandwich. The bun was fresh and it was good. It's cold and relies on the gravy to make it hot. The Ceaser salad was outstanding! Lots of garlic and the critics actually have melted cheese on them! We also had the calamari what had also Was delicious. A good night. Check it out!

During my trip from Toronto to Blue Mountain, this was a restaurant my boyfriend and I will always remember. 1) Beer Flights 2) Ambience 3) Location (10mins from Blue Mountain Village) - there is a second location in the Village but slightly different menu 4) Beer options 5) FLAVOURFUL FOOD 6) Large Portions 7) Inexpensive 8) Service 9) Vibes and other guests All key elements to our amazing experience here! You get the option to choose what beers you want for the flight. The portions on food are much larger than you expect. The flavour in each dish is phenomenal, and that's what separates them from other places we tried. Open one up in Toronto please!

Just finished a long drive from Niagara Falls and the first thing on our mind was BURGERS! We were famished! From our trip last year all we could remember was Northwinds. We checked in on line assuming a 15 minute wait to find out they told us 30. That gave us a few minutes to run some errands and come back. As soon as we returned...our table was ready! We were greeted quickly by our waiter and our meal followed just as fast. From the kids original request for a fast food burger, they commented on how it was the best ever! Juicy and fresh, with the side of fries. They devoured it like they haven't eaten for a month. Even my part vegan wife, turned into a carnivore. She thought the 7oz patty would be too much, but she didn't leave much on her plate. The side salad, instead is fries also had a nice touch. Slivers if apples and cranberries, were perfect! Most times we'll come back to a place expecting the same experience and get disappointed, in this case, it got better. Will we come again....of course we will, when we return for our next summers vacation to the Georgian Bay!

Classic smash burger with duck fat fries and fish and chips in the background

Very tasty burgers and the prices are decent. I tried a bit of the Nashville chicken and the smash burger and both were pleasant. The fish and chips also looked very good. I especially liked how crispy the fries were. They have a faint taste of duck fat without being especially heavy. With a nice cold beer and some vinegar, the fries went down so easy. Will definately be back for a large order of the fries again next time!

Romeo pizza -comes with 4 pieces

Went out to eat for Father's Day on our trip to Collingwood and chose this restaurant based on reviews. It didn't disappoint. We had the macaroni and cheese with bratwurst -nice touch with the onion rings w BBQ sauce. I found the bratwurst overcooked but the macaroni so delicious! Then we had the Romeo pizza with so much roasted garlic, sun dried tomatoes, prosciutto and mounds of cheese it was delicious but we could only eat half of it. We had to try both of their desserts which were served warm. Brownie with chocolate ice cream and peach pie with vanilla ice cream. Loved them both! Lyric was our server and she was friendly and proficient in her job. The only thing I wish was that the entree portions were not so large as we are in a hotel. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

We had the smash burgers and also 2lbs of wings, pretty good (no photo of the food, was too hungry and forgot to take the pic) but some pics of the establishment

Worth the trip to this brewhouse if you're visiting up north. There's 2 locations. One at the Blue Mountain Village and the 2nd in Collingwood. We went to the Collingwood one because it looked bigger in the pictures than the other and we needed the space. We had 15 people in our group. We came at the right time too, arrival was at 1130am. Got lucky with the long table near the back and if we were probably 10 mins later we would'hv had to wait. SO GOOD THING FOR GOING EARLY! Service was great. Waitress came by to check on us every so often, replaced new water bottles for us and from what I remembered, our bills were split up correctly and no issues were there. My bf got the fish and chips and it's literally a foot long. I tried a piece - it's ok. The fact that it's a foot long is already a shocker. I got the mac & cheese add bacon. DAMN. GET THIS TO TRY. It was so creamy and had a bit of sweetness to it? because of the bacon. The bacon was out of this world. Sweet bacon and adds soooo much flavour to it. The only thing that I wouldhv like is to replace peas with green onions. That just my preference. Mine comes on a small pan but portions were really big for me. Maybe cuz we were eating early idk? but I had a little more then half to pack away and I ate it for lunch. A few people got drinks, I didn't but I know a few of them came before and liked what they ordered so as for beers/drinks, I can safely say they would recommend it too!

    Garlic smoky BBQ wings

Came here for dinner after skiing at the blue mountain with some friends. It is located in a plaza right next to a pizza shop and a nail shop I think with lots of parking spaces. Don't forget to check at the back also. This place is packed with people! We waited about 1/2 hr to be seated. Our server was very attentive. There's many interesting dishes on the menu I'd love to try. My boyfriend and shared a pound of chicken wing with garlic smoky BBQ. The wings are very flavourful and it come with approx. 7-8 wings with a sliced of carrots and blue cheese dip. I had the beef dip ($18) and I must say their portion were VERY decent. The sandwich was at least 12 inches long!! No kidding!! It comes with a dipping sauce and full sized pickles on the side. Having dipping sauce with a sandwich can be a kill messy. Especially, when the sub was loaded with beef, cheese and mushrooms but I guarantee you will not regret ordering it. My bf had the pork Parmesan schnitzel sandwich with fries and gravy ($1). I'd say his sandwich was a bit dry compare to mine. I'm not sure if I like having the tangy taste from the lemon squeezed on the sandwich.. The fries was really good and their gravy was VERY flavourful! Definitely a must order! My friends ordered a Bison burger and a Mac and cheese. They commented that because the bison patty has a lot of sauce in it. They couldn't really taste how it is differ from normal beef. The Mac and cheese didn't have a strong cheesy flavour. We were already very full after we had our main so we didn't get to try anything on their dessert menu but I'd definitely come back when I go back to Collingwood again!

One of the staff recommended eats is the cheeseburger and duck wings. The smash burger and fries is very addicting. Maybe one of the best smash burgers I've had in a while. The duck wings are a generous portion size and a tasty sticky kind of goodness. We originally wanted brussel sprouts but it sold out so opted for the beet salad which is pretty good too. All in all, I'm surprised the food is so good! I may have enjoyed it more than the flight of beers we ordered. I told the staff to choose a selection for us. The CPA is one I prefered most among the ones I tried, with a bit more floral or complex notes than the rest. This family-run brewery and restaurant was converted from a small church and has been opened for a couple of years. Find your own seat, order and pay in the front and food would be sent to your table. The tip range suggested the same as a full service restaurant. There are six communal tables and also enclosed sheds outside for additional seating.
