Found this spot in Bradford as I was driving through town looking for a burger joint. Decided to choose the Kobe Beef Burger. It was very juicy and tender. The bun was a bit stale but the sauce and toppings paired well. The burger was cooked medium rare which I liked especially if it's going to be quality beef like Kobe, only issue was I felt the interior of the burger was cold. The fries were extra crispy and actual seemed to be freshly cut potatoes. Check this spot out if you're ever in Bradford.

I LOVE this place! Barb and I have been here pretty much every weekend since discovering it a couple of months ago. Here's why: 1. The food is fantastic! Every dish we've tried has been excellent. The pasta is fresh, the sauces are homemade (and delicious), the proteins are cooked perfectly and the portions are huge. We've tried Fried Calamari, Mussels, Scallops, Arancini and Brussels Sprouts for apps. We've also tried Chicken Parm, Veal Parm, Baked Eggplant, Baked Ravioli for mains. I'm going to eat my way through the fairly large menu before too long and I'm guessing I won't find a single dish that isn't great. 2. The ambience is nice: lots of brick accent walls, a cool bar, wine storage all over the place and a recently opened wine bar and lounge. It's not white table cloth fancy, it's family friendly casual which is perfect for this type of restaurant. 3. The staff and service are great. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The Chef/Owner David is usually available for a quick chat during service which adds an authentic family touch to the evening. 4. Given the quality of the food the pricing is very modest. This is most likely the best quality to price ratio restaurant in the northern GTA, it's hard to imagine getting anything better for less. Nicely done!

This softly lit, intimate restaurant might just be the classiest, most upscale dining you get in Bradford. They get 3.5 stars. The complimentary bread was served with bruschetta topping, which was novel. The crab cakes were good. They were pretty much pure crab & not cut with other ingredients. Veal, Shrimps & Scallops was pretty tasty. It had a good variety of proteins & a nice sauce. The mashed potato was coarse & so had characer. The Kobe beef burger was huge. The patty was pretty good & it was juicy & tasty. It didn't have a strong grilled flavour, but then we asked for it to be done medium. The fries were heartily fried but some fries were unevenly cooked because they stuck together in the fryer. Furthermore, at the same time some were underdone yet most were a touch too brown on the outside. I suspect the was oil too hot & they only did a single fry, resulting in an overcooked exterior together with a sometimes undercooked interior.

I ordered a peach/ginger drink and it was strong but really tasty, highly recommend! A few non-drinking ladies were given great recommendations for virgin cocktails! The food was also really good, most people got burgers which looked really good. I got the duck pizza which was really tasty but the crust could use work, it was a bit too crunchy and flat, I'm not sure what style I would call it but I prefer either a lightly crisp crust with a chewy bite or a fluffy crust, this was neither. I am a bit snobby when it comes to pizza so I'm definitely particular but the toppings were really unique and tasted yummy! Next time I'll go for a burger for sure. The service was excellent, I had made special arrangements to bring in a group of 16 people, and, being moms to young babies, some of us showed up later/earlier, some left earlier/later and we all had separate bills, so I know it wasn't the easiest to manage but our server honestly nailed it. We all had our drinks done perfectly, food came out all at the same time, nothing was missed, and he was soo genuine and friendly. We really had such a nice time! Thanks so much HBH for making our night out so fun!!

Although some of the plates going out to the tables around us did look pretty tasty. We shared a beer flight and there were some very interesting flavours that stood out to me. The Happy Circumstance Cream Soda Lager. HOLY. That might be one of my fave beers. Think of a cream soda that has just a lil bit of beer carbonation at the end of the sip. That's what this tasted like. It blew my mind. Didn't really taste like beer at all. If you blindfolded me and told me it was cream soda mixed w/ a hint of beer I would've believed you. Incredible drink. It stood out the most out of all of the ones we tried. So much so that I can't even remember what the other ones we ordered were.

Tried 2 of their craft beer: Borland Roe Ale - I enjoyed this. It is not overpowering. It even tasted good when it wasn't as cold. Also the City of Dreams Vienna beer - this was also good, but I preferred the Borland. Started off with a Charcouterie board. This was very good. The items on the board was a good variation to the usual cold cuts. It had 2 types of cheese, salami, sausage, warm fried bacon slabs, bread (could use more), pickled items and strawberries. It was yummy. We then had the beef dip, as recommended by the waiter. This was good. The meat on it's own could be seasoned a bit more though. The dip was just ok. Tasted like packaged. The Fries were done well. There was gravy - OK. Service was good. The server was very attentive. It was a very pleasant experience.

I was immediately impressed when I walked inside, as the place has plenty of cool decor and boasts a dimly-lit feel that I find irresistible. As I scanned the menu, I was eventually drawn to the Bramble Burger ("House ground, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, Bramble berry relish"), which comes with fries. And I feel like I made the right choice because it's one tasty hamburger. I wouldn't rank it with the best in the city, but all the components were right on target and I enjoyed the heck out of it. The fries were great, too. I don't know why it took us so long to check out Bramble Gastropub, but I think it's safe to say we'll be returning sometime very soon.

The fish and chips were overdone, I have never had fish a much deeper dark brown than the fries, which were golden. The fries were way-oversized potato wedges, which don't work well as fries. The tartar sauce and pickled cabbage were delicious along with the mushy peas. My girlfriend had the Cobb salad with chicken which was passable but not special. The service was prompt and drinks were perfect.
