Tried Zets in Vaughan and it did not disappoint! We ordered the pork souvlaki dinner, calamari appetizer, and an extra pork stick, plus a water and a beer - came to about $70. The portions are huge (we definitely didn't need the extra souvlaki stick), and everything was super tasty. Staff were really nice and the place was clean. Great experience overall, and we'll definitely be back!

Food was delicious and portions were huge! A casual dinner spot, cafeteria style. It was busy but tables were turned over fairly quickly around 8pm on a Saturday night. The chicken and pork were both well cooked - juicy, tender and flavourful. The halibut was fresh and crispy. Everything was really good and I will definitely come back here again!

Used to drive by the Airport location all the time but never had a chance to try it. Was in the 400/Hwy 7 area and noticed there was a location nearby. Dropped by for a late Sunday lunch. It's cafeteria style but the tables turn quick. Order: Cheeseburger, Small Fries, Gravy. The burger was ok, nice juicy 5oz patty with all the fixings but a mediocre bun. The fries were amazing, double fried, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The gravy was good, but a little too thick for me. Overall, a very good experience. I'd love to come back for the Souvlaki some day.

It's called the Famous Chicken Souvlaki Dinner for a reason! It's a classic Toronto spot for delicious Greek food. The chicken is always so juicy, rice and potatoes are flavourful, and everything is cooked to perfection. The tzatziki sauce is the chef's kiss on top that marries everything together. The housemade greek dressing on the salad is so good it can turn anyone into a salad lover (like my husband )

The excitement my nose experienced as soon as I stepped into Zet's was real! It smells soo good. The service was so fast! Poutine was quite yummy. It's made with shredded cheese - which I prefer - but for you cheese curds fans it might not be your thing. The portions are huge! Can't wait to try the souvlaki.

So I came here for a quick lunch. I know that zets has been around forever and as always delivered near the airport. This was my first time at the Woodbridge location. Simple counter takeout options. I ordered the classic chicken souvlaki dinner which was amazing. Good value portion with today's prices at $20 for the meal. Significant amount of chicken with a healthy side of salad and potatoes. The space is extremely clean. the staff are friendly and efficient. I definitely want to come back and try some of the other menu items. I only issue is for quick service. You're looking at 30 to $40 for a lunch and drink

January 29, 2023 - whenever my friends are hanging out with me, they always talk about going back here :'( ............................... Yet they've never taken me here before :/ Lol Anyways, they finally took me here and it didn't disappoint... we ordered two meals for the 3 of us and it was enough. We ordered: Chicken Souvlaki dinner Steak Dinner The bread I didn't eat. Maybe next time I will check if there is pita bread. But the meats were soft and juicy! The staff was nice, lots of seating and it was nice that they had a little shop inside the restaurant. My friend bought a few things.

Food was delicious. Generous portion. Definitely could request swap of one the rice and potatoes for fries. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Will definitely come back again or do the takeout party trays.

We went for a late dinner tonight and food was amazing as always. Service was quick, food was hot, portion size was huge, and the priced was amazing low.....I'm not complaining. Highly recommended!

I've only tried their $8 5oz cheeseburger and it was very good. The buns are of low quality but the patty itself was juicy. I look forward to trying their $15 fried calamari next time.

For what it is- a Greek restaurant in a predominantly Italian (and lately, Middle-Eastern & Indian) suburb-, and what it costs, Zet's is a gem. Heck, I even contest that it gives several spots on Danforth a strong run these days- sadly, things in Greek Town are nowhere near what they were 15+ years ago.... Portions at Zet's are absolutely gargantuan, almost to a novel extent... does anyone actually eat the bread roll on top of everything else? I love the side salad that comes with the souvlaki, quality dressing/oil/feta used in it, and adore their tzatziki + potatoes. The rice isn't my favourite, which is why I'll often sub it for fries or just all potato, and the meat sometimes can run a bit too dry for my tastes, but generally is very well executed. Ample parking in the lot outside, and tons of seating indoors. Souvlaki dinner is my usual go-to, but everything else I've had has been great as well, from their burger to the gyros, the poutine, hot dog, etc. Best bang for the buck for quality ratio, by far.

As you would expect from a legendary restaurant from the airport strip, the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner is massive. Would definitely get it again but you need to double up on Tzaziki sauce because one is not enough.

The second floor has the board games and cafe. The third floor is the Mahjong. We played many different board games. There are 2 big cabinets of board games. There should be more. We ordered the following food: 1. Hanamikoji Mocktail ($9.99). 2. Treasure of Sumatra Mocktail ($8.99). 3. Teddy Bear Milk Tea ($6.99). 4. Flat White (small $4.99). 5. Potato Wedges ($6.99). 6. Chicken Tenders ($9.99). 7. 17 Tiles Dusted Wings ($14.99) with Chipotle Mango sauce. The mocktails were pretty and tasty. The Teedy Bear is made of ice. All the food was good, except the batter on the Chicken Tenders was too thick; the chicken was tender. The service was good. For 3 people, our games and food totaled $86.93. I toured the Mahjong rooms on the third floor out of curiosity. The setup was good. To play unlimited board games, it costs $3/p. To play in private Mahjong rooms, it costs $20/h/p. For VIP Mahjong rooms (including drinks), it costs $30/h/p. For wheelchair accessibility, you must enter an elevator at the back of the building. There is free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible. On each floor, there are separate male/female washrooms and one gender-neutral washroom that is wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. More recently, one of MY closest friends held his wedding reception just down the road (at Casa Deluz Banquet Hall) and instead of a dance floor at the end of the night, he booked one of the party rooms here for the afterparty. From the outside, this plaza looks like your typical, sketchy scarborough plaza but the first time I walked into this place I was blown away at how nice the interior was. The lighting is extremely cool and the decor is very fancy. Service is prompt and friendly. If you need a battery change for your mic(s) or ring the service bell, you get a person almost instantly in your room. The washroom is clean enough haha. I've been to some KTV places with REALLY dank washrooms. This one is clean and smells relatively fresh. Also, someone in another review mentioned that there was a lingering cigarette smell. I've been here a bunch of times and there's almost no cigarette smell. Visitors are pretty polite here. Most ppl that want to smoke, I see them go outside and having a smoke outside before coming back into the lounge. I will say, they do use a popular touch screen system for choosing songs. I would totally bump this review up to a 5 star rating if they kept the song list updated (Bar+ on Yonge St downtown has the most constantly updated song list I've ever experienced). There were a couple new songs that I tried to find but to no avail. I think this is the best karaoke place uptown in the GTA at the moment if I'm being honest! They are very honest w/ their minimum room charge pricing and they also have a killer happy hour special deal throughout the week if you're not booking a room on a weekend. It will continue to be my go-to place for karaoke as long as they don't increase prices.

Beertown occupies a commanding footprint in Toronto's Financial District -- a sprawling,…read moreenergetically lit gastropub that announces itself with a theatre of gleaming taps and an open, convivial floor plan designed unapologetically for the after-work crowd. It is, in many respects, exactly what it intends to be: a loud, generous, unpretentious haven for those emerging from Bay Street offices or rallying before a Scotiabank Arena event. The beer programme is the undisputed centerpiece. The selection is vast and thoughtfully curated, spanning local GTA craft offerings alongside storied European imports such as Erdinger and La Trappe. Flights arrive on paddles with coasters identifying each pour -- a charming detail that rewards the curious drinker. One could spend an entire evening simply navigating the rotating taps, and many regulars do precisely that. The kitchen delivers pub fare that, while familiar in concept. Service is warm and attentive on its best evenings, with staff who clearly understand the rhythm of a busy house. However, during peak hours the pace can stretch thin, and a lapse in table attention can surface. The noise level is considerable -- an unavoidable consequence of the venue's scale and popularity. Those seeking quiet conversation will find it a challenge; those seeking energy and the communal hum of a city unwinding will feel entirely at home. For the corporate denizen of the Financial District, or the sports fan looking for a spirited pre-game gathering point, Beertown is a reliable and genuinely enjoyable destination. The beer alone is worth the visit.

I'm not sure if it was our server's break but a couple of other servers came to check on us but couldn't (wouldn't?) take our order until our actual server arrived a while later, which was maybe 20 minutes or so. Not deterred, as we were hungry and thirsty - we ordered the giant beer paddles for our table to share and also a few apps. The beer arrived warm quite a while later and also only had the breweries names on the coasters, not the actual name of the beer so we guessed on a few. The apps were not memorable and were only warmish - so was not blown away. Too bad as the location nearer to me in Oakville was much better in terms of food and service. Even though my office is steps away, I wouldn't rush back.

I decided to look at the menu, saw the lobster roll, and knew that I needed to order it. I love lobster rolls. I see it on a menu and I must order it. No thought required. Done! There are three COAST locations, all ghost kitchens, in the GTA. One is in downtown Toronto. Another is at the Firkin that I used to frequent at Yonge and Eglinton. The one is Vaughan is the latest addition, which is where I went last night. I placed my order through Uber Eats for pickup: - PEI lobster roll with COAST salad - Crispy COAST shrimp - Crème brûlée cheesecake - Superbowl Sunday special (free COAST fries when your order is $40 or more) The downside is that I got a general location as to where to go to pick up my food. I got to the plaza with Nations grocery store anchoring it. Where do I go next? Well, my prayers were answered when a nice person from COAST called me and said that my order was ready. He let me know that COAST is in The Moose, which is a Firkin pub. Yes, direction! I thanked him and parked closer to the pub. The Moose looks new and modern. It has patio heaters and is open for dining in, as is many eateries in York region now. I was greeted by a nice man. He asked for my order number. I showed it on my phone and he went to fetch my order. I saw this white paper bag with handles on the bar counter. He thanked me and handed it to me. I reciprocated. I could smell the fries through my mask. I was so excited and I headed over to my car. I got home and had dinner. I bought more than I could down, so I have leftovers today that I look forward to having I had a container full of salad. The PEI lobster roll was camouflaged by it. You can choose fries or salad as your side. Considering that I was going for free COAST fries, I settled for salad. I loved how much salad I got. The veggies were crisp and fresh. All I heard was my crunching on them. The salad dressing had balsamic vinegar, but it was subtle and didn't have a ton of sugar. I liked it a lot. My lobster roll was good. The lobster had generous chunks of real lobster in aioli, with chives and seasoning. Yum! The downside was the bun. The brioche bun needed to be softer and perhaps grilled more with butter. It would have made the experience nicer. It was a smaller roll than I had hoped for $20, but I had so much food that it was minor. What surprised me the most were the crispy COAST shrimp. They were super crispy. They had a bit of spice. The baby arugula balanced out the spiciness. I thoroughly enjoyed how crispy the whisper-thin batter coating each shrimp was. Perfection! I got the COAST fries on the house. The fries tasted so homemade, as if I had cut the fries myself, and someone did a better job at deep-frying them. It had Grana Padano cheese that I had never had. It tasted like parmesan, but milder. I loved it with the spicy aioli and chives. I love chives so much. I normally don't enjoy eating fries as a side, but I could do these any day. I have been good lately by not going overboard with desserts. However, I couldn't resist getting the crème brûlée cheesecake. Sadly, my slice got tossed around a tad in the container, so the pointy part of the slice was smashed. However, I ate it all, even with the whipped cream puddle next to it. I enjoyed this cheesecake slice a lot. It wasn't terribly sweet. The berry coulis on top provided a nice tartness and contrast. The crust was thin. The cheesecake was creamy and you could taste the beautiful crème brûlée flavour in each bite. It's a winner! I am eyeing the PEI lobster poutine, and COAST surf and turf burger next. I had a great experience. Prices do run steep, but it's worth treating yourself to fresh seafood and ingredients. (114)
