Love the intimate ambiance as well. Here's what we got for the yummy food: Scallops Rockefeller 5/5 - Came with 3 scallops in shell and had a delicious foamy sauce to pair with it. Flavours were well balanced and a great starter. Lobster Fra Diavola 5/5 - Can't go wrong with this pasta dish. Came with mascarpone, sofrito and poached lobster. The sauce was what made this so good, it was creamy and deep in flavour. Swordfish Francese 5/5 - This dish kind of blew me away. The swordfish was a dense lean cut of filet but the beurre blanc sauce with roe and fine herbs really brought out the tasty fish. Potato Pave 5/5 - LOVED this as a side dish. The potatoes are layered and so crisp and came with the perfect sauce ontop. Their complimentary bread and butter was also so good - a nice touch! Millefoglie Frutta di Pietra 3.5/5 - The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the dessert at the end. It came with super thin wafers? It was okay, not the typical mille feuille style. From a personal standpoint I was not fond of the atmosphere as there was a baby crying throughout the majority of my dinner and a toddler at the bar with his parent which seemed a bit strange to me. Bottom line if you want good eats, I would give this place a shot. But if your are going for the atmosphere, expect it to be very dark and possibly have children crying inside or at the bar.

Out of all of the pastas I've tried, the wild boar which was part the day's special was the one that I'd least prefer. It's not bad, but I wouldn't say the taste of the meat was special in any way. And it was more of a ground up wild boar as opposed to chucks of meat. Would have preferred the latter. I really love their lasagna. Hearty, savoury and done right the Italian way. Pappardelle bolognese was equally nice. They also make a mean mushroom risotto. I have no clue why I spoke about main course first, but I can assure you that's not the order they were served. The arancini were a bit pricey, but again delicious. Caesar salad was solid, but would have preferred a bit more cheese shavings. I've never had dessert here so I can't comment on them. It was tempting to give Ciao Ragazi a 5 star rating, but the service was incredibly slow the first time I was there. I think the kitchen staff was just overwhelmed since the Asian gentleman in the open kitchen was responsible for salads, pizzas and desserts. Also, if they can tone down the sodium level by a pinch, it would have made their food near perfect. I'm a big fan of Ciao Ragazi and so is my family and as a result we've returned several times, both for dine in and takeout.

Overall, service was efficient and attentive, often checked on and refilling water. On top of that, the restaurant has great decor and parking is provided in the back of the restaurant. Its considered on a slightly higher end for brunch ($20-30 range), but it was truly an amazing experience. They also have daily promos so worth checking out for dinner and late night deals.
