food was good. trying the basic korean pancake, the japchae potato noodle and also the korean rice cake and the grill macarel.. the tteobbokki was on a mild one so it is a good for trying if you dont like spicy.. the side dishes with kimchi, black bean, tofu and brocolli was nice

The food is so delicious and I love the banchan (small side dishes). The service is great! The servers are so nice and helpful. The place is spacious but can get really busy during weekend dinner hours. The wait is worth it! And, there's 2 side rooms for larger parties to have their own space. People complain about the portions but I think the portions are fine and since there aren't many places to get these dishes, it's worth the price. I first went when they first opened and they were packed, busy, and hustling. I've been many times since and I think they've gotten the kinks worked out and their food is consistently delicious!!

I kind of stumbled across this place riding down the street. There was another restaurant in the place of this one. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and very good portion serves. I will be back.

I was the second person seated, and right away I loved how cute and cozy the inside was--especially with the Christmas decorations, which made it feel warm and welcoming. The waitresses were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, which made the experience even better. I ordered the soondubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) and galbi (Korean short ribs), and everything came out piping hot, hearty, and full of flavor. The meal was served with five banchan (side dishes) and a side of rice, which really completed the experience. For all of that, it was only $35 after tax, which is an amazing value for the quality and portion sizes. So glad we finally have a spot like this in Cordova. I'll definitely be back!

We stopped in for a snack. We weren't sure what to expect but we were happy randomly choosing this restaurant. The Gun-Mandu (vegetable) was so delicious. This is my first time trying Korean soy sauce and now I'm a fan. The hostess was also our waitress and she was very kind and helpful. This is a cozy spot to sit down, relax and enjoy some Korean food.

Had a wonderful late lunch here with my boyfriend! Came a little late around 2:45 but wasn't aware they closed at 3:00 but they were so kind as to let us sit and order. I got the Kimchi Jjigae and it was spectacular. I was worried it'd be to spicy but their kimchi is the perfect balance. Our waitress was incredibly kind and continually checked on us. I cannot wait to come back!

We finally tried the Han tonight, and I have to say I'm not impressed. The service is not the best, for starters. The dining room had 2 tables when we arrived. Half of the dining room is lined with windows. When I asked if we could sit on the opposite side near the fire because it was cold out, the young blonde hostess actually rolled her eyes. Then when I asked our server if mild really is mild, she replied she couldn't say because she is Korean. Similar requests for chopsticks, etc, were met with the same sort of sarcasm. The little dishes of garnishes are a fun touch, and the dumplings are good. The Bibimbap was a disappointment . I asked if I could have tofu on it, and despite tofu being offered all over the menu, it is not an option for the Bibimbap. Honestly, the rice wasn't crispy at all - it was sort of gummy, served with an egg on top and not much else. It couldn't hold a candle to the former Sam's Deli (RIP) or even Kwik Chek. My husband had the short ribs. He said they were good, but expensive for the little portion. The food is simply too expensive for what they offer. We wanted to love this place, but we won't be returning.

It's a comforting embrace on your dehydration from partying the night before. It's the gentle kiss of the sunlight on the first spring day. It's the caress of the lover that got away. Today I needed food to hit my soul. I've had a lot going on and sometimes it's hard to find that special dish that will make your day. This bowl gave me hope and vitality. What a lovely and well seasoned experience. I don't write reviews often but this experience hit different. Please be kind to restaurant staff. Food tastes better when you have a good heart.

The broth has a slightly sweet flavor that I personally really enjoy. Their salted lemonade is really fresh and refreshing, it's a must-order every time I visit! My only complaint is the portion size. The bowls are a bit small. As a female, I need to order a large to feel full. Most males may probably want to order an appetizer or another dish on the side. Service is pretty much the same as it was at the old Vietnamese Restaurant, minimal and not particularly attentive. Overall, the food keeps me coming back, especially the pho and salted lemonade. Four stars.

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

Their ramen is literally top ramen instant packs with chicken bouillon cubes and maybe some seasonings...& their appetizers are always greasy. Mandu's aren't really even mandus. Their jjangmeon is greasy as well and not even authentic to its real taste. I gave it 3 more tries before I realized yeah..this place has gone downhill terribly. I didn't like one of my dishes and i specifically told them what I didn't like about it and they still charged me because the chef said "I made it correctly" and I was very disappointed because a kimchi soup should NEVER taste tomatoe-y EVER. I looked back in the kitchen and saw white folks in the kitchen and knew yeah, no. this establishment has no soul or care. There are better Korean options here in Memphis, after some time this place has lost all its care and soul. Like who serves appetizers on plate that says "oh shucks" and it's a picture of oysters...it gives CHEAP & careless.

When you walk in you'll check in with the host to be seated. The restaurant feels like a super cute, casual ramen shop vibe right in the heart of Memphis. For food we started by ordering the crawfish dumplings (crawfish, shrimp, cream cheese & togarashi). The dumplings were good, almost like a take on a Crab Rangoon but with shrimp and crawfish. For entrees my partner ordered the Big City Ramen (chicken broth, chicken thigh, ajitama, corn & menma) and I ordered the Spicy Pork Ramen (miso broth, pork chashu, soft egg, scallion, nori). The Big City ramen had a really good balance of flavors and wasn't too spicy. The spicy pork ramen was good but a bit like on the spicy side. For dessert we ordered the Thai tea dessert which was really well balanced and a perfect way to the end the meal. Highly recommend stopping by Good Fortune if you are in the Memphis area.
