Claudia is lovely! She takes her time to get you what you want! I wear extensions, so my hair is a little harder to deal with. She has given me beautiful hair every time I have seen her. Decent prices too. She's also very caring with my disability (I cannot walk very well.) I was very fortunate to meet her at a nail salon, otherwise I would never have known about her cute little salon. Ty Claudia!!! read more

Claudia knows what she's doing. Such a lovely service and haircut. Love me new do, so healthy and bouncy.

Got haircuts the way we wanted them :) a lot of places get nervous to give people with curly hair the cut they ask for. Here we got what we came for and no one was trying to talk us down or talk us out of the style we wanted. It was fun and they were very nice to my girls. read more

I was nervous to get my hair cut because it had been messed up by another person. Claudia fit me in on what seemed like an already busy day and did a wonderful job. She didn't rush and made sure I liked what she was doing throughout the whole process. I felt very comfortable and welcomed, and her shop is very clean. She is excellent at her job and very personable. She made my hair look great! :) read more

The Hair Factory - Hair Salons Near Me - Pacifica, California

A fancy hair salon in downtown San Francisco butchered my hair. I had never been to the Hair Factory so I was nervous. It was so great to work with Jill! She was very patient and made sure that I got what I wanted. I love my new haircut! read more

Claudia is great. Great haircut and she squeezed me in when I needed and stayed late to get me my haircut.

I'm glad I found this salon about a year ago. A very friendly and welcoming place. Jill always takes the time to give me a quality hair cut that I've been very happy with. read more

This review is for Jill for a children's cut - have been here twice and wanted to give her a second chance, but she is not meant to cut children's hair. Her attitude is sour from the start - constantly shaking her head and chastising a 3 year old child who in her mind should be able to sit still for 35-40 minutes. She further mutters judgmental parenting skills when I try to give her feedback in that I need to train my child. She does not respond to children's inquiries. This is not a doll. This is not an adult. Advice for Jill - either do not accept children's haircut or learn how to deal with your client (a child who cannot sit still and has to comment on hair falling in their face). Also do not critique a parent on their parenting skills - I came for a customer friendly child hair salon, not a judgmental sour salon. Plenty of friendly children's salons in the bay area. read more

My 22 month old has seen Claudia twice now (the first time was to fix a year's worth of pandemic mom cuts) and I enjoy taking her there for these reasons: Close proximity to home, Claudia works quickly and is very friendly, cuts are ~$25. My daughter sits on a firm foam booster, but has also sat on a parent's lap during a cut--just depends on how fussy she is. I bring out some Daniel Tiger videos for her to watch on my phone during the cut and it's all good. Claudia is able to cut my toddler's hair while she wears a mask the entire time. read more

Thank you Claudia for the great service! You are amazing! I highly recommend Claudia for anything!!

I've needed to review The Hair Factory for a while now but decided to now. The first time I discovered The Hair Factory salon I was driving around trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my hair for my friends wedding, I didnt want to do it myself, so I looked up Salon's in Pacifica and The Hair Factory sounded awesome so I decided to call them, Claudia did my hair for the wedding and it was gorgeous! I also absolutley love going in there because Claudia, Rose and Sally are so sweet. Then I went to get my haircut and it was gorgeous. So I decided to bring my son there and Claudia did an amazing job on his hair! I will definately be going back read more

This was our first time coming here and it did not disappoint. I took my son for a haircut becuase his picture day was the next day. They got me an appointment for the same day! Claudia did and amazing job on his hair! Everyone is so friendly that works there right when you walk in they just make you feel very welcome- such good customer service and they were so warm and kind! It was the best hair cut my son has ever gotten and he does not have easy hair to cut! She made sure it was perfect and really took her time to make sure of it. Thank you Claudia and the hair factory. We will be coming here from now on! read more

I've been going to The Hair Factory for years. They have always done a great job. Very easy to get an appointment. Since Claudia has taken over, she has made some great cosmetic changes to the place. It looks beautiful. Claudia does a great job on my hair. She makes sure it's just the way I like it. All of the ladies in the shop are excellent. read more

Rose does a fantastic job in cutting my hair!!! Just make sure to call first since she may be booked for the day. I am a regular ever since then. read more

Customer oriented. Warm. Caring. Amazing at what they do. I walked into this place, and the ladies told me to come in and ask all the questions I wanted. They literally welcomed me. I just moved here from San Francisco. I've always had amazing stylists and I am super picky. Sally, Rose and the owner, Claudia are such real people and super passionate about hair. Claudia, btw is the new owner there. Apparently, she worked at Illusions Barber Shop! She is a find! She was so thorough with my hair color and application. It really showed me the kind of quality and service I was receiving. I was literally so impressed. She was amazing with my blow out as well. This whole place is a find and a total Gem! Hoping I am not screwing myself with bookings by writing this review. read more

The Hair Factory is a hidden gem in Pacifica. I have been a regular here since I moved to the area more than 10 years ago. My hairdresser is Sally, and she is meticulous, attentive and artistic. I have changed my look several times, and she always comes up with a way to make me look better. She is an outstanding colorist as well as stylist. To top it off, the place is charming and and the prices are reasonable. What more could I possibly ask? Highly recommended. read more

In addition to Terry, the barber, there are two stylists working here. I made an appointment with Debbie after receiving a glowing referral. I had an appointment and did not have to wait, there's plenty of parking, the decor of the site is very nice. The shampoo bowl was extremely comfortable. Debbie did a great job of listening when I wanted to change my style and color. She showed me color samples a book of haircuts and helped me pick out something that would work with my hair. The price was very reasonable, especially given the level of service I received. I WILL be going back!! read more

You know, it's funny, I never thought of writing a review about the Hair Factory, until I went today and Sally was excitedly talking about how they had a five star rating on Yelp! And when I thought about it, (a) they definitely deserve it, and (b) I should write a review about them because they're a hidden gem. I've been getting great cuts from Sally for the past five years, and it's always a comfortable, homey kind of place which is really what I wanted after bouncing from trendy place to trendy place in the City, and then passing through a string of bad places in `ol P-town (there's the one where I never got the same cut twice, and another where the owner was too hung over to make it for my Saturday appointment....). Terry, the owner, is a mellow, fun kind of guy and Sally always gives great cuts and great advice on restaurants and places to go both in Pacifica and the City (and when Terry, Sally, and Debbie start going at each other, crack a beer and sit back for the show!). The haircuts are very reasonably priced, and they're always patient when I call in a panic because I'm not where I'm supposed to be (in the chair getting my hair cut) because I cut things too close and got stuck in traffic. Highly recommended! read more

This is one of those places where you walk in and everyone is friendly. Terry, the owner, even met me at the door asking me if I wanted a cup of coffee. Debbie cut my hair, and she did exactly as I told her. Parking is easy. I will be going back! Thumbs up for the Hair Factory! read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a barber in a pinch and weren't familiar with the area, but thanks to yelp we were able to stumble across this lovely shop and find that the 5-star reviews are dead on. We were offered complimentary coffee and cookies and my boyfriend got a great cut for a good price. An excellent little barber shop! read more

Great barbers shop. Took some time to find a shop in Pacifica I liked. Owner Claudia is very pleasant and always gives a good hair cut.

We love this place for the kid's haircuts. It was easy to get an appointment and the kids felt comfortable talking about what they wanted with the hair stylists. Claudia is great with little kids and Rose cut my daughters hair. Rose even trimmed up my daughters hair while we were waiting for the boys to finish. Super friendly and knowledgeable. It helps to bring a picture of what you're wanting if it's something new to you. When my oldest son wasn't sure how to describe what he wanted, Claudia pulled out her phone and looked at images till they found something he liked. Then she proceeded with the haircut and it looked great! read more

Claudia is an amazing hair dresser!! She did a miracle on my hair. My hair is hard to manage. She did a totally makeover on me. I am beautiful, but now, I feel gorgeous. Thank you Claudia for your passion, dedication, and the relationship you build with us your costumers. I love my new look! read more

Always my favorite place to get a haircut. I get a cut from Rose every single time for a mere $25. It's a good price and she has my preferences on file. Plus, it's a 5 minute drive from home, so it's always easy to get to. There's good parking and it's easy to get a reservation. read more

I had been thinking about getting a permanent wave for a while and finally decided to go for it. Being somewhat new to the area, I did a google-search and found The Hair Factory positively reviewed so I called them up: "I know it's Saturday, but do you take any drop-ins?" Debbie said she had an unusual open-spot at that moment so I hurried on down. I was surprised at the cozy, wooden, old-fashioned feel to the shop- the comfortable atmosphere was bolstered by the three employees (who I found out are the only employees and work only Tuesday through Saturday) who had a lovely comraderie. Debbie walked me through every step of the process in getting a 'wave.' She was very easy to talk to and I felt very well taken care of. She also gave me some great tips on how to style my wave and I've enjoyed the outcome for a week now. read more

As the Yelp rating says... this place is as good as it gets! Sally is wonderful. She has cut my families hair for years! We love going here! And we love Terrie too! They are both excellent hair dressers! read more

He's a good old school guy like his daughter said earlier and if you're thinking about it, go see him but call first because he schedules his weeks, not Saturday. I like his clean John Wayne/Andy Griffith shop. It's probably just me thinking that nothing around here is properly priced, but he's making $20 a go for what anyone in any normal town charges $10 for. BUT, for $10 a job in the bay area, one would get someone who doesn't speak english, and only gives one kind of cut. He gets my $20 for being of good character as well, hard to find. read more
