I was sold on the beautiful photos but was naive to think all their hair stylists would be able to produce the same high quality work. I came for a balayage and my stylist was S. We looked at the Yelp photos from their salon and mutually agreed on a past clients photo as the inspiration. He worked on my hair for 5-6 hours. Haircut and wash included. At some point during the appointment after foiling my hair, they said they did it wrong and had to unfoil, recolor, and refoil my hair. This was a bit unprofessional and unnecessarily time consuming. Outcome: -- Hair was more blonde than the photo -- I have one patch in the back that's very blonde -- He used product that created a terrible burning sensation on my scalp. And when I raised the flag, he said it's supposed to feel burning. I've had balayage done before and never had this burning feeling. -- When I got home I noticed dried bits of product on my scalp and hair that wasn't properly washed out. This was a turn off. -- They got hair dye on the back collar of my shirt. -- The vibe is very Chinese, meaning the stylists all speak Chinese and English is not strong so you may find it difficult to communicate. -- Overall, it's a clean studio. I contacted them after the appointment: They apologized for the scalp burning but again said it's part of the process. They agreed to pay for the damages on my shirt. For the half a grand I spent, I expected a better experience. Go to this salon at your own risk. If you do, I hope you get a good stylist. I hate writing bad reviews and never write one for a salon but I'm pretty disappointed in my results. I came here in September 2025. I liked the way my hair looked after it was done but it was SO brassy after 3 weeks and a few washes. I tried using purple shampoo and it didn't work so I tried blue shampoo and still nothing. Just surprised how fast the color faded and I paid so much to get it bleached. Also I told them I didn't want a hair cut and the guy said he's only going to cut a little, I think for his picture lol . I came here because it was recommended by two of my friends even though I lived really far. I booked this appointment about 3 days beforehand and around the holidays (so I was really thankful to hear that there were openings.) I wanted a haircut and balayage. Goal was to go from my very long brown (now brassy) balayage to medium length, ash brown. I have dark Asian hair and many people had told me I could not go very light without multiple sessions. Eason was great and was realistic with me when I showed him a picture I wanted. He promised to go as light as possible without damaging my hair. And he did two bleaching sessions in one sitting and was able to get my hair down to a 8.5/9 which is as light as he said I could go. While most of the staff speak predominantly Cantonese and Mandarin, Eason's English is great and he was very attentive when I needed something and couldn't communicate it well in my broken Chinese. He also warned me when products might cause a burning sensation and checked in to make sure the foiling process wasn't painful. I really trust his expertise, and all of the staff were so nice and attentive. It was a 5.5-6 hour process for me, and the price was very reasonable. I used to be a regular at this salon when they first opened and was happy with the service. The assistant I usually saw doesn't speak English well but always tried her best and was pleasant. Lately the salon has gotten much busier and the quality slipped. They're clearly overbooked -- appointments that should have taken about 90 minutes stretched into long waits, and the attention to detail wasn't there. At checkout they expect a tip automatically, which felt presumptuous. I'm normally a generous tipper, but if the service doesn't meet expectations I will still tip less than usual.
