Turkey blt

Great spot! It's been years since I have been. Always a good business lunch spot. It's hidden away on the Calvary chapel off of Cypress creek. It's non profit so no sales tax! Great food and the ambiance is always nice. You might see high schoolers eat lunch! Service is always friendly and fast! I have never had anything bad at The Calvary grill! Love the open kitchen concept!! I got the turkey club and it hit the spot!

We popped in here for lunch after my daughter's preview day for school. There was a little wait for us walking in. It was my first time at the restaurant despite my daughter attending school here for a few years already. I was impressed, nice decor and Christian music playing while we ate. I had a tuna melt with fries, my hubby and daughter got burgers. We had zucchini fries for our appetizer and the dipping sauce was great. lots of people there had pizza. Maybe we will try some next time we go. Food was good. I'd definitely come back!

Good is always good here. I haven't eaten there in a while and this time ordered food to go (online ) and everything was great. I ordered two family meals and they were so good. You can only do those during the week and pick up is from 12pm-2pm. Prices are great ! Different sides to choose from . I ordered : * Salmon with mash potatoes and salad. * Chicken chimichurri with mast potatoes and black beans.

Best breakfast tacos!

There is no other place to eat in Ft. Lauderdale except for the The Grill. The food was absolutely delicious. The presentation and proportion were perfect. The staff is always friendly and the cleanliness was the amazing. We wouldn't eat anywhere else. All items are priced right.

Decided to go on a Sunday for the first time, luckily we arrived before the service ended. Therefore it was not busy at all. The waitress was very sweet. The service took a little long, and it's was not busy, but we enjoyed watching the live service on the tv's around the dinning area. Food was good and fairly quick. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and I ordered a strawberry, goat and chicken salad, (we were hungry and forgot to take pictures). It was very tasteful. We both had brunch for $35! Nowadays it's really unheard of. The entire building, including the bathrooms and dining area was clean and modern. They have rooms to have meetings or celebrations.

Can be a little difficult finding it the first time as it is located on a large church property but it was worth the journey. Food was reasonably priced and portioned. Also our server told us that it's all fresh never frozen. We got the homemade bread pudding to finish off the meal and it was easily the highlight. I've had plenty of mediocre bread pudding before and this by far isn't mediocre.

I have been coming to The Grill since it opened and the quality of the food has remained spectacular. I have had nothing but the best experiences with their wait staff and management is great.

If you have never been here or you haven't been in a while you should come and try it out! The wasabi chimichurri is delicious on the flat iron steak!

We were told it would be about a 10 minute wait. As we went to sit outside to wait, he said to let him know if we wanted any water or coffee while we waited. We were seated not much later and our server was equally as friendly. They have a lot of selections on the menu and I think the prices are very reasonable. My husband and I both ordered omelettes with home fries. My omelette was very tasty and came out piping hot. The home fries were good but they were on the cold side, so not ideal but not a big deal. Coffee refills were frequent, and they also provided ketchup and hot sauce without us asking. The silverware was also very clean, as was our table surface, which is very much appreciated and the sign of an establishment that actually cares. There were people of all ages but also a lot of older people having meals, which I enjoyed seeing. Looks like a lot of regulars come there. All in all, a very good experience. We will come back and try again.

They have free parking, which was great and we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Luckily, we got a seat right on the window so we were able to watch all the planes with a perfect view. They have quite a large menu with brunch options, as well as a variety of lunch options. Everything looked so good, but I decided to order the Runway wrap! This wrap came with a choice of shell which I chose spinach, and inside it there was grilled chicken and bacon. I also got fries for my side. It also comes with a pickle slice which was a great touch! Service was fast and efficient and the wrap was delicious as the bacon was nice and crunchy and complemented the wrap very well. I know the menu has so many amazing options but I think I have to get this wrap again with how good it was. There was nothing better than having a nice lunch and getting to see the jets and helicopters land and takeoff. It was a free show while you ate. Definitely recommend checking out Jet Runway Cafe!!!

We had ordered pancakes to come after the meals and they were cold from sitting instead of freshly made. Our server made several comments about upper management, not caring about them. We noticed our server was a bit busy so we asked three different employees a refill on drinks and none of them came to help their fellow co-worker so we waited 10 to 15 minutes. Someone had came by and took our plates which had our silverware we had requested fresh ones, again nobody really helped and we had to wait for our server to come after she was running around. Otherwise, food was good (minus burrito) and it's always fun to watch the planes take off.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.

First off, parking was difficult because this establishment is near other highly frequented businesses. Once inside, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who immediately sat us at a table for two. The interior is small and intimate, which also meant very loud once it got crowded. After being seated, our water cups were quickly filled, and someone inquired if we wanted drinks. After we were approached twice, still unsure of what we wanted, we were then neglected for at least ten minutes. Our appetizers arrived and still no one had come to get our entree order. The menu is fairly small, and the items are quite pricey. You know what else was small? The drinks! For $18 I want to hold a drink that fills my hand. Was it good, yeah; but it wasn't life changing. We ordered some scrumptious rosemary focaccia and lemon garlic olives to start; my husband chose the Korean Fried Chicken and I opted for the pappardelle bolognese for our main course. Both dishes were tasty, but I don't think either one was reasonably priced at $34. We opted to skip dessert after watching everyone around us receive their meals before us; and only at this time did our waiter seem to become more attentive. Overall, food is great, but overpriced; service was fair - but for over $100 for two entrees, appetizer and one drink, we won't be back.
