Now talk about a hidden gem! I saw an Instagram reel about this spot and I knew I had to give it a try! I went for lunch on a weekday and it was packed. They have free parking, which was great and we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Luckily, we got a seat right on the window so we were able to watch all the planes with a perfect view. They have quite a large menu with brunch options, as well as a variety of lunch options. Everything looked so good, but I decided to order the Runway wrap! This wrap came with a choice of shell which I chose spinach, and inside it there was grilled chicken and bacon. I also got fries for my side. It also comes with a pickle slice which was a great touch! Service was fast and efficient and the wrap was delicious as the bacon was nice and crunchy and complemented the wrap very well. I know the menu has so many amazing options but I think I have to get this wrap again with how good it was. There was nothing better than having a nice lunch and getting to see the jets and helicopters land and takeoff. It was a free show while you ate. It used to be one of our favorite breakfast spots, but there's too many disgruntled employees and lack of help. I had the breakfast burrito which was cold. We had ordered pancakes to come after the meals and they were cold from sitting instead of freshly made. Our server made several comments about upper management, not caring about them. We noticed our server was a bit busy so we asked three different employees a refill on drinks and none of them came to help their fellow co-worker so we waited 10 to 15 minutes. Someone had came by and took our plates which had our silverware we had requested fresh ones, again nobody really helped and we had to wait for our server to come after she was running around. Did I not add this already? I thought I gave a a review. I just went for the first time and it is such a cute place right on the runway. When you walk in try to sit facing the left as that's where the planes are taking off, but everywhere is cute to watch the activity going on outside around you. Delicious food, perfect location. The wait staff is friendly and pleasant. Bathrooms are clean enough, handicap accessible. I got the steak and quinoa bowl which was so delicious that I may have to go back to get it again. I was really impressed with their food portions and the taste of everything because typically if a place has a really cute location they don't have to do as well in the food area, but this place nailed it. The only weird thing was that the bowl was super light and plasticky whereas I thought it would be ceramic. So you do have to hold on to your bowl when you are eating! read more

We come here often but unfortunately this time was not the best. Everything we ordered just came out overcooked/burnt. Maybe there was a new cook back there. The bread pudding was hard and tasted old. It's normally fantastic! The potatoes were borderline burnt, eggs over cooked, cheese as well, croissant and toast over toasted...you get the point. Wow! It's been a while since I've been blown away by both food and service. Stopped in for breakfast for the first time and was so impressed! The food is great!! The famous fried bread pudding- is a must try!! Seriously! It was delicious- I wasn't sure if I liked bread pudding or not and the waitress was so kind to let me try a small piece. Loved it and the croissant sandwich so much, I ordered both to go for my husband! It's a very small spot within the executive airport- thankfully gps got me there no problem! Of note, there are signs all around pointing where to head to too which is nice. There are large windows that let you peer out to the tarmac to see jets taking off and landing. Pretty cool. So today's my birthday and wanted to spend time with my family. My husband and kids at a new place. I saw great reviews here and I love to try out new places to eat. The wait time was good I was told 25 minutes but it was actually 10-13 minutes wait which is great. Upon sitting down greeted by the waitress and she calls me a kid can you say I felt so good because it's my birthday and I'm in my 30s was like YASS!! But back to the review. My daughter had kids meal with is the waffles let's just say the plate was empty. I ordered the first class steak medium with a side of grits which was good. My husband had the hash brown dish and let's just say that was delicious I had some. And the create your own omelette was good too. We walked into this bright little restaurant that's hidden away in the Ft Lauderdale Executive airport, at 9ish this Friday morning. Hardly anyone was there, and the hostess told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We already knew what we wanted, so it was an easy and quick order for our waitress, who had greeted us promptly. My husband and I came here for breakfast today. Just know upfront -- there was about a 45-minute wait. The inside is small, so it makes sense, but be prepared if you come on a busy morning. I'd say this place is worth checking out. It is right by the executive airport and you can watch planes landing and taking off which is really neat. The food is usually pretty decent. Even though it is tasty it is usual not enough to tempt me to come back unless I want to show off the neat view to friends and family. I would avoid going there around noon because they tend to be very busy. This is located nearby several office buildings so it tends to fill up with workers during the lunch rush. As for the interior, I always find it to be quite loud in there. Not from the planes but just from people talking. What a great comfortable spot. It's at the end of the airport so it is a little tricky to find the first time but well worth it. We found this place through Yelp, but how to use Google Maps to ensure that we were close to the area. We went on a Sunday around 1040 and there was a long line but they have this cool system where they asked for your phone number and then they will text you once you're table is ready and they were on point my wait was 25 minutes and at 22 minutes. I got a text. But this place is really popular and I could see why the staff are nice. The place is clean and there's a nice variety of food. My husband had the silver lining salad and that hard bread was delicious. It was like cinnamon cranberry toast, but it was yummy. I ordered the egg Benedict and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Spoiler alert ... no pictures were taken! This spot is at the FLL executive airport off of Commercial Blvd. You can't make reservations however I didn't think there would be an almost 1/2 hr wait. A clean, bright space with shiny furniture and fittings, you can't look out the huge windows as the plane and helicopters take off and land. A little noisy, but generally in a good way as seems like plenty of groups with good conversations. Once we were seated, service was swift and attentive. They had a steady flow of patrons which is always a good sign! Vibe was good just a little loud. The concept of this restaurant being right on the tarmac is one of the many great reasons to stop in! Living 11 minutes away from here and being told about it for the past two decades, I don't know why I waited so long to try it out, but soooo happy I finally did. It was so easy to get there and find parking. I was always told there can be quite a wait especially on the weekend, but I guess me and my boyfriend got lucky when we popped in on a Saturday morning shortly after they opened. We waited only about 10 mins and got a great seat right along the large windows facing the tarmac. Love how everyone in the restaurant works together and keeps the flow going to get your food out as quickly as possible. Our food was beyond delicious, fresh and so comforting. My boyfriend got the "Full Tank" while I went with the "Brunch Totchos" and we could not stop saying how great everything was for the rest of that day. The food is very good quality indeed, they could probably get away with not being as good because of the airport runway views of landing jets and helicopters parked right outside the windows.
