Like my dad use to say the food always looks good in the pictures compared to when you get it. The food was just not to anyones liking out of 6 people. The shrimp burrito was just "nasty" shrimp tasted funny and rice wasn't even cooked all the way not in just 1 burrito but 2. The chile relleno burrito was also disappointing, the chile was still raw not cooked to be soft at all and just takes over the burrito. Steak meat in the tacos were over cooked. They make awesome salads. The taco salad is a bomb with crispy taco shell, Mexican rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole. It ends up not being healthy after all, but it's hella yummy. I have never been here to The Green Enchilada and I have lived in Pacifica for over 10 years. I love that they have a few Vegan options! I ordered the Ensalada Pacifica and that came with: No feta Mixed Greens Papaya Mango Cucumber Tomato Avocado Added: Tofu and I think it was supposed to come with black beans but it didn't. That would have been REALLY really good. The beans and rice are Vegan friendly as well. The rice was nice and fluffy and not dry at all. I enjoyed the salad and the rice. Skip this place. Ordered a carnita fajita burrito with green salsa and cheese. Entirely bland, loaded with plain instant rice and they did not put the salsa on that I paid extra for. This place has the beat vegan burrito around hands down !! We get the "vegetarian veg-out" burrito with black beans, Spanish rice, and add in some GARLIC FRIES just to make it exxxtra dirty. This time they hooked it up with the biggest burrito I've ever seen, thankfully I was splitting it with my husband so don't worry --none of it went to waste! We popped in here for a quick bite after the dog Surf Competition. I checked in on yelp, and they are offering $3 off a chicken entree with check in. They also offer a free Agua Fresca when you like them on FB. The food was good- but the service was very militant. It reminded me of the soup nazi episode on Seinfeld. 4 of us went in together, you order at the register, and they call out your food when it's ready. I ordered the veggies burrito, the cashier was asking what kind of tortilla I wanted, I asked what the choices were- he rambled them off super fast. I had no idea what he said. I asked him to repeat it, he rolled his eyes, and said it even faster. I thought I heard the word spinach- so I asked for that. Then he asked what kind of beans. I asked what my choices were, again with the rapid fire responses. I felt rushed and stressed placing my order. He was the same way with my friend when she ordered a quesadilla. I guess we should be grateful he let us have food... The restroom was not tidy, and was lacking toilet paper. My friend who ordered first, leaned over me when I was ordering to let him know they were out of TP. He couldn't have cared less. We went to check and see if it had been restocked after we ate. 7/15/17: AMAZING !!! Had the Ensalada Pacifica and added salmon to it. The salmon was cooked to perfection, juicy,tender and a slight crisp on the skin. The salad ingredients were extremely fresh (mango,papaya. Avocado etc) ! You have to try it yourself ! Also had a mango/strawberry Agua Fresca which you can tell was freshly homemade, it was a perfect blend! It was not overly sweet but not diluted! I was beyond impressed! This is a really great the business model that this restaurant has. I wish they were bigger and had indoor seating. I can't think of another authentic Mexican organic restaurant in the inner Bay Area. There is one in the mission that is vegan that I know of. I've eaten here several times and just need to remember to read the menu carefully and be sure to ask for the extras (if you get a burrito). I will continue to go here when me and my daughter go for walks in Pacifica. read more
