Weird. Bizarre. That's how I would describe the experience that I had at this place. Originally, we were headed to the Mexican restaurant up the street but due to the fact that they were about to close, we decided that this place had a decent crowd and was still open. We went in and got seated promptly. Once we got seated, the server was fast but took a couple of minutes to come by and ask for drink orders. We order our drink orders and order onion rings as an appetizer. We got our drinks and our appetizer a couple of minutes later. Everything still is going fine until we tasted the onion rings and they are very mediocre. The dipping sauce that came with the order was very mayochup reminiscent and the onion rings had an off taste. We were still keeping our hopes up until the entrees came, I got the Cajun turkey burger and the other 2 members of my party got the Chicken Parm. My burger was very bizarre tasting with odd ingredients. The burger tasted like it was just bizarre ingredients mashed together like pineapple and pickle. There was no cajun taste at all. I tasted the Chicken Parm and the chicken tasted hard and the breading and cheese were not good. The bill was very high for the quality and quantity of food we ate. We were hoping for better as it's a cute neighborhood kind of place but this fell short and was​ disappointing.​ There are better options that are cheaper around here that have better tasting food. read more

Food was fantastic, she had the Kobe beef sliders and I had the short rib quesadillas. Very tasty, lots of flavor in both. We liked the atmosphere, very cozy. We sat in one of the leather booths in he middle of the restaurant, comfy. Only complaint was that it's a little pricey, $13 for the quesadillas, and $12 for the sliders. Given the taste it's reasonable, but still a bit expensive. All in all a nice place and we'll be back. read more

We have been going to the GAP for years and can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal. The consistency of quality and the friendly and efficient staff brings the locals back time after time. We have our favorites but the specials are always changing and give you a chance to expand your dining horizons. It's the best place in Wayne to meet friends for drinks, watch a game or just catch up. The best bartenders around stay on top of you. Our favorite Chrissy never disappoints. Made the mistake of eating here. Bar was packed with older men. Received odd stares by them when going to the restroom. Burger was dry and under seasoned. It came out well after requesting medium. Came here on a Sunday with a group whilst in the area for beers and lunch. The front section of the bar was crowded but we were able to get a booth towards the back. I ordered the sesame chicken salad which was a generous size and flavorful. My husband had the French onion soup and the crab cake sandwich he really enjoyed. Our friend also liked their meals. These guys have 2 locations, Main Line (Wayne) opposite the railroad station and the other in Conshocken. Both places have friendly and quick service. Decor is heavy on dark stained wood and brass, leather banquettes - definitely not trendy, but well done. I've eaten at both countless times, and the food is always solid - but never memorable. This is a big drinking establishment. how many times can everyone say, "ok, just one more please". Yesterday, in Wayne, the spring weather was sublime. The large awning covered patio was bustling, and the French doors/windows open wide. Even sitting inside, the people watching alone is great. All ages, but most folks well dressed with a heavy emphasis on Preppy. I'm convinced, watching the cars roll by - the Main Line must have the highest concentration of BMW/Mercedes/Land Rover registrations in the US. This place is going down hill fast. I used to love coming here when I'd come back to town. The food is just alright. Nothing to write home about, just your average bar food. The service is horrible unless you like getting attitude from everyone who works here. All of the girls act like they don't want to help you. If you don't like interacting with people don't work in the service industry. The bartender has the rudest girl I've interacted with in a very long time. Awful service! Actually, that's not true. The bartender, an older gentleman, was very knowledgable and friendly. It was the waitresses that were rude. My boyfriend and I wanted to sit outside and when I went to ask if we had to wait to be seated the waitress was putting an order in and told me rudely she was busy. Really? Great customer service! I used to waitress and understand it's hectic but common the waitress could have said, 'hang on one second' or 'I'll be right with you'. Rude! I don't know why we stayed but we sat ourselves. No one ever came over to help us. There were only 2 waitresses outside on a Saturday. Busy busy busy but no explanation or service. Awful! Not a great place to go if you are looking for top notch culinary dinner selections. It is American cuisine, not Le Bec. With that being said, I enjoy their food and have been surprised by all the recent negative comments. A lot of what they serve is bar food. Their beer battered onion rings are mind blowingly good. The service again is great, but you need to be friendly to them as well. Disappointment. Food was overpriced and poorly prepared. The service was mediocre. The environment outside was the only pro, which isn't really the restaurant's doing. I had "asian lettuce wraps" on the dinner special menu - aka lettuce, pasta, about 8 small strings of carrot and some peanuts all placed separately on a plate and drenched in soy. Impossible to wrap as it was a mess. It turned into a crap salad. The other party had the drunken shrimp - of which there were 2 shrimp total (not an exaggeration) and about a half a pound of bacon... ? Waste of money and time. I always see this place packed so we tried it tonight for my birthday dinner...huge mistake! My pulled pork sandwich was barely edible! I have eaten here at least 5 times. The quesadillas are excellent , burgers good, the short rib burrito, chicken sandwiches etc. The food is top shelf. My friends and I went there on Tuesday 6/12/18 at 10:45, and for some odd reason the bartender told us it was last call because they closed at 11; not 2, 11. We looked around and saw that there were twenty or thirty people sitting there and our stupid rude bald bartender in his stupid dry-fit polo shirt was kicking all of us out. Maybe a suburban bar has different hours in the summer, or on a Tuesday, but we weren't the only people in there like I mentioned. You would think a bartender would stay open a little longer seeing how busy it happened to be, while having the option to close early if it was dead. It seems like common sense for someone who works on tips. But alas, the angry bald man was all but grabbing everyone by the collar and throwing us all to the curb. I don't know if that's company policy or not, but have some flexibility when you decide to close earlier than normal. And remind your bartenders that they work for tips. read more

Update: From 4 stars to 1, the service here seems to decline as the years go on. There's plenty of other options in the area, so dealing with the inattentive staff isn't justifiable anymore.
