Chilaquiles & triple cheese crepe was sooo amazing with lots of flavor! Love the price point and quality of food. There's everything here for pizza, sandwich to authentic Mexican food lovers. We even had some guests requesting food without garlic or onion and they were able to accommodate

We've been here before, but it has been a while since we last tried the food here. My wife got the Sautéed Kale with tempeh and a veggie pizza. She liked the kale stir fry, but there was a spice in the tempeh that she wasn't fond of. The veggie pizza was good, but a bit too much cheese. I got the Chicken Fajitas. They were very tasty. The rice and beans were good too, and more than I could eat. (FYI: The number one item according to the waiter was the Club Sandwich.) For dessert we split a carrot cake. All in all an enjoyable meal.

Really delicious with high quality ingredients. Friendly service. Surprising to see and know that it's entirely vegan here. Had the breakfast burrito and it was really tasty! With their homemade hot sauce--yum! Low lighting inside for early morning, recommend a little more lighting for mornings and can be dimmed at night--just a suggestion. It was a little dark at 6:45-7:00 in the morning when folks need to wake up haha. Overall, really enjoyed it and food was really good. Looking forward to try more other options. Also had the cappuccino Italiano which wasn't great but okay. Everything tasted fresh and it was a really good vegan burrito with good protein! Love that they're conscious of their food and ingredients. Even the ketchup had minimal ingredients as it should. Food should be whole and simple, and this place does a great job of following that. Gracias and well done!

The food and coffee hit the spot. I was wanting breakfast for lunch and it's perfect that it is served all day here. A fully plant based eatery with so many amazing choices. The service was great! My server was so attentive and sweet. The food was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Every time when we leaving LA area this is our must have place for a breakfast before we hit the road. The food is always delicious and fresh. Service is outstanding. The only "disappointment " for me is that's every time we are here I m trying to buy their tshirt that says " friends not food" but it's always sold out. I really want that shirt. Definitely recommend this please Double cheese crepe is my favorite.

Delicious food in a very fun atmosphere. Bf and I both got vegan burritos for that fully satisfied feeling. They carry beer and I had a delicious virgin michelada. Yum. Service was on point.

My friend and I walk in at 6 pm on a Monday evening and are the only people in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken mole burrito. It was tasteless which made it hard to eat. My friend ordered the lentil soup and club sandwich. The waitress disappeared after she delivered our food. The service was non existent for the next 90 minutes until I finally saw the waitress and asked for the bill. She was sweet but it took another 15 minutes to get the bill. I hate to trash a restaurant. It's people's livelihoods. But. There's no one eating at Grain Cafe and the food isn't good. My friend said, "I hope your mole burrito was good, I did notice you left some. I ate mine but it wasn't particularly noteworthy or tasty. If I had the chance to choose that vegan place or trying another, I'd choose another." The food and service need a lot of improvement.

Very friendly service and very tasty food. The whole menu is vegan based and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The energy in the place was very pleasing. This is my new favorite place to eat.

Many great selections. The burger was delicious and I liked the carrot cake. The server was helpful and although, she was the only one working, it was a bit slow. The restaurant is big and it is inviting. I would definitely go back again.

    Sopes at Grain Cafe
    Rocky B.

What a cute vegan spot. These guys offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as offer wine, beer and cocktails. We went in for lunch on a Saturday and there were plenty of tables. Once seated our server came up to us right away with water and menus. So much to choose from but I went with the Reuben because that's what drew me there in the first place. We also ordered Sopes as an app and my husband ordered a Hotdog. I ordered a white wine. The Sopes were okay...a little bit on the dry side. I wouldn't order them again. My Reuben however was amazing! It was made with tempeh so at first I thought the texture would be weird but it worked because the flavor was spot on. My husband's Hotdog was just ok. He wouldn't order it again. It was more of a rolled loaf than an actual Hotdog. I also ordered a Red Sangria and it was really tasty. All in all the service was great, ambiance was aesthetically pleasing and the food was good enough to have me go back and try out more of the menu. Location is in a small strip mall so there's parking.

This is one of my favorite places to go. The dishes are always sooo hearty and satisfying. Tried the Huevos Rancheros this time and it's a close tie with the chilaquiles. The staff are always so nice here and I love the decor. Feels very mom and pop. I swing by here on the way back home from the Korean spa and it just completes my spa/mental health day.

Each time I've come the waitstaff has been super friendly, and the food amazing. So, when planning a little birthday lunch for my mom's 81st birthday, this was one of the first places I thought of. My mom lives in south LA and we live in the valley, so after picking her up, we wouldn't have to travel far to eat. Although we planned to arrive to the restaurant at 2, traffic was horrible and we arrived at 230pm. After looking for parking, I dropped the fam off at 2:40 so they could sit and look at the menu while I found parking. I get a text from my husband saying they closed at 3 so hurry. This was news to me, as I thought they closed at 5. I found parking and rushed in at 2:48, to see my family outside the restaurant. Perplexed, I went in to ask if we could still eat, as it wasn't yet 3pm. No wait staff came to the front to greet me, so I walked in a bit and asked the waiter if it was okay to eat. The waiter said we close in ten. I said I thought the website said you closed at 5. I must have read it wrong. I understand, but it's not 3 and we came a bit of a distance and it's my mom's 81st birthday. The waiter, whose name is Jack, offered to ask the kitchen if they would still make food. I said yes please would you ask? While Jack was asking, another waiter asked me if I had been helped. I told him yes, that Jack was asking the kitchen if we could still have lunch. This waiter says, we're closing in 10. I'd like to have lunch too. And walks away. Yes, with shade. Jack returns and says it's fine as long as we can order within a few minutes of getting the menu. I say great and we all come in. The 2nd waiter takes our order with the least amount of personality he possibly can, and the whole lunch is slightly awkward and we're not able to truly enjoy ourselves with the feeling of "we better hurry up and eat" lingering. By the time we ordered and received our food (which was delicious as usual) , there were still 4 other groups of customers there, and we actually left the restaurant within a minute or two after the last customers before us. Also, no one came around to ask how our food was and if we needed anything. I'm giving 3 stars because this experience didn't quite sit right with me. Yes, it was near closing, but your doors weren't closed and there was no sign saying last call/order at 2:45 or anything like that. I feel like once the kitchen approved making our lunch, customer service should have been at its peak for paying customers, who gave no attitude and tried to be as polite with the ask as possible. It was not. I still tipped 25%, because Jack (waiter 1) was polite and my 81 old mama who I was celebrating raised me that way, but I'm not sure I'll patronize them again.

Small things I'd personally wish to change is that the onion is too strong in the macaroni salad. Wish it wasn't in there period.
