Want to know how to get a life-long customer? Do what Jon W and The Golf Mart just did for me. I had a small problem with my golf bag, and instead of quibbling over terms and conditions, warrantees, etc.......THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE BAG AT NO CHARGE! This was above and beyond any expectations. Thank you Jon and The Golf Mart. read more

Customer service was excellent. I went in for a particular hat that wasn't in stock. They called all other stores in Bay Area and found it for me. Such a small purchase and fabulous customer service. Jerry S is one of the most personable and helpful customer service representatives I've met in many years. Keep up the great service! thanks, Cathy D read more

They have a great selection of used clubs. Their customer service is amazing too. They are all happy to help and are never to pushy. They are knowledgeable and are happy to help. read more

Tremendous customer service! Went there to fix my tweaked putter head. They looked at it and said it was better to send back to the manufacturer. I asked if he could give it a shot with their machines and then shopped around while they tried. Sure enough, a few minutes later, he came back and had it almost back to the orignal angle. I asked "how much" and he said "no charge". To be sure, I had recently gotten my putter (and set) regripped there but I think he would have provided this service for free anyway. I would definitely buy my golf gear here if they have what I am looking for. read more

After having an awful experience at Golf Mart in San Bruno/South San Francisco, I was in the East Bay and stopped by Golf Mart in Dublin for a driver. I walked in and the casher asked me right away if I needed help with anything. I told him what I was looking for and he had a guy named Matt help me right away. Matt was great, very helpful, did not rush me at all, and helped me pick the club I needed for my experience level (beginner). He was super patient. He had me hit the club a few times to see what type was best for me. I can't say enough good things about this store and Matt specifically. He is an asset to this location and the other staff are very service oriented as well. I will be back for more golf items at this location. read more

Don't go anywhere else. Drove there from the Central Valley and was able to get new irons and have them fitted with the help from Bob today!! People are very knowledgeable and professional. read more

This place is really great. They have a little practice area and they usually have really smokin' deals. Bought my husband a set of callaway irons and some drivers and they threw in the $150 bag for free and some balls too. Plus the drivers were practically half off. read more

Stopped into a couple golf stores in the area for a new pair of shoes! Unfortunately I have that super common size as other women and every pair I looked at no store had my size. I was really hoping to get a new pair within the next two days. These guys called the other stores and had one sent over next day! They called me as promised when they were in and was as simple as that! read more

Asst. Mgr. John is really knowledgeable about clubs, and very poised in making recommendations about irons and drivers. I really appreciated that he wanted me to try a variety of manufacturers, clubheads and shafts before selecting what would ultimately be my new clubs. It's always helpful to KNOW what you want before you go into any equipment store, but it's a huge bonus to be helped by someone that takes the time to understand what will best fit my game. I'm a loyal customer. read more

Great place to find individual used clubs at good prices. I came looking for a used ladies set, but ended up just finding some nicely priced drivers and an irons set. Staff is awesome, helpful, and knows their stuff. Golf Mart's a good place to go for advice when you're just starting out. read more

drove by the old location and was... doh!!! but the new location is much better... good parking. Got in, got out, got back to business... I just wish those balls that I bought were still in my bag ready to be used instead of contributed to the environment over the last couple courses I played at.... I'll have to work on that. but at least I didn't pay for the last couple rounds I played, so balls was the fee for harding park and the ocean course. read more

Maybe have just gone in there at the wrong time every time. But it seems to me that you need to find someone to help you. There's usually one golf sales person hovering around the back near the swing bays. He won't offer any assistance just simply lurks in watches but as soon as you're ready to make a purchase he standing up by the register to make sure he get his commission pretty sad actually. I'm like "for what" I did it all on my own. read more

Mark the store manager is awesome. Cares a lot about customer service. Appreciate the level of attention when I had issues with clubs and took care of me. Will buy all golf stuff from them. read more

This is the best golf store in the bay area. No one can beat their 90 day satisfaction guarantee.

I've gone to their older location a few times but totally prefer their new location. Love the move. Their new location is HUGE in comparison to their older location. Same great selection of new and used clubs along with all the new clothes, headwear and everything else golf related. I even found and purchased a small plastic set of clubs and balls for my son. I've only been to their new location twice now but every time, I'm greeted at the door and all staff are very nice, knowledgeable and not pushy. The hitting bays are nice but with the size of the new location, I wish they had a couple of more bays. When its crowded, its like waiting for a weight machine or equipment at the gym. More bays would make this place perfect. Nonetheless, love this new location. read more

Great place to buy your golf equipment. Jon was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgable regarding the golf products. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to doing business with them again. Thanks Jon for all your help. read more

This is one of the first places I go to when I actually want to *buy* a new toy, as I find their prices to be very competitive. In the past I purchased a set of used irons and two drivers there, and recently my Dad also bought a new driver there as well. One of the great things is that they have a return policy even on their used clubs, so if you don't like it, you can bring it back (although I haven't tested out the policy). They have two stalls for testing out clubs, one with a launch computer hooked up to it. They're a little cramped, but satisfactory. read more

Originally went to the PGA superstore which was a long drive and received no assistance. Went back to where I knew I would receive excellent service and settled on the golf mart. Will spent 3 hours testing and fitting irons and zeroed in on the driver, fairway wood and hybrid that was best for me. Nothing was rushed, no push to go with a brand and only the most professional club selection experience one could dream of. If you are looking for clubs, they will get you on the launch monitor and give you honest feedback to fit your game. Absolutely love these guys! I was in there twice this weekend, bothering them about a new driver head (which of course they had) that I couldn't find ANYWHERE! Jared and Jon were very knowledgeable and did an amazing job helping me out. I had the shaft for my new driver and Jared was able to put it in the new head in less thank 24 hours. The guy knows what he's doing! Mark was very accommodating as well. All in all, these guys are very personable and made me feel welcome. I also had to have Jared fix a club that Golfsmith messed up. Never going to Golfsmith again. Thanks again GolfMart for all of your great work! read more

Went in and bought a used hybrid with an x-stiff shaft. Really was buying the hybrid for the head. A day later I called to ask if I could actually find a stiff shaft in another used hybrid and exchange it. The guy over the phone was super nice and said yeah that's not a problem at all, as long as its a used hybrid and I bring my receipt in. So I get there and find a stiff shaft of my liking on another used hybrid and went to go to the register. I was then told the adjustable tips on the shafts are different so I cannot exchange for the desired shaft. I was then told it has to be the exact same model club so the adjustable tips are compatible. This would have been valuable information to tell me when I first called as I wouldn't have wasted my time going over there, as I knew that was the only used hybrid of that model. I went to go double check to make sure that there were no other like model hybrids with desired shafts which I confirmed there wasn't. When I went up to the register empty handed the guy just hands me my shaft and receipt and doesn't say anything. A simple "sorry that didn't work out" would have been appropriate. I also thought it was pretty weak that they didn't offer to switch the adjustable tip out. It's not that hard or time consuming to do. In the past I have had nothing but outstanding customer service when selecting gear and equipment. This has been my first horrible customer experience at this location. read more

I don't understand why the "one star" rater can say these folks have a rich person mentality, I think he's thinking of the "other" big box store where I have been always made to feel inferior and no customer service. New store is the best move they've made - love it. Waited to have my club repaired and it gave me a moment (or two) to test out a driver I've been eyeing and a couple of putters I've been eyeing. Quick service and the repair was complimentary. They were having $75 off the driver too...hmmm, should I or shouldn't I? read more

We needed a new club sets for my daughter (`5 feet) who is an aspiring golf player. We tried two nearby golf stores where they have limited options and no return policy after using on a golf course. Then, we tried this store. Jake at Golf Mart diagnosed her swings, let her try several clubs, and recommend a club set for her. We wanted to discuss with her teacher: he honored our decision and did not push us. When I came back to purchase the club set, Jake let me bring my daughter after lesson with the new club to measure distances of each club. When we came back, he spent "quality time" to measure her distances of her old clubs as well as her new clubs. He also gave her tips when she tried each club. Very impressive after-market customer services, which is a great benefit compared to "online shops". They also warranty 90 days of satisfaction. I am so glad to find this store and Jake. read more

I've been in here many times and spent a lot of $ here. Staff are friendly and they always offer help, I actually I get annoyed because they keep asking. Love their return/exchange policy too. They have everything you need in this little store. I had my whole set grips put in within 45 minutes. Most places ask for 24hrs. read more

This is the place to go for your golf equipment, exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and really patient. I needed new clubs, they were special order because of the lie angle, so I was thinking I would have to wait three weeks before I could get a feel for them. Nope, they gave me a loaner set of brand new clubs, so the lie angle was a little off, but I got to hit the new clubs while I waited for my set to come in. They also have a 90 day return policy that I used to replace a fairway wood, no hassle at all. To top it off, they gave me a great deal on my new equipment. read more

Super customer service. Went in for a golf travel bag. They have so many different products that it was a bit overwhelming. But the salesman helped me narrow it down based on my needs. Value was excellent too--saved about $40 over a nearby general sporting goods store. read more

I purchased a Taylormade R1 driver from Golfmart in So. San Francisco about one year ago, last week when ready to tee off I noticed a line from the face to the back of the head. I played using my three wood then got in the car and drove to Dublin the closest store to me. I walked in showed the first sales person I saw the driver explained I didn't have the receipt anymore but registered the driver with Taylormade. The guy told they would take care of it by sending the driver to manufacturer. He then told me the the process will take about 7 - 10 days and that they will either send me a new R1 or a new comparable product. Then he offered me a free R1 as a loaner which I accepted. I received a call on Wednesday (6 days later) that my new driver was in. It was a brand new R1. This has been the best customer service experience I can remember in a long long time. Golfmart and Taylormade have a customer for life, and I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks. read more

Golfmart is a great place to see and be able to touch/swing variety of club selection... Great place to go for advance players to test the club feel in the hitting nets, before I buy through a different way.. Hint golf reps* I thought the service was great, and for noobies who complained about how bad the service was, all u have to do Is to speak up and ask question and not be shy... Or do research on the Internet before you enter the store... Otherwise I love the place, it's clean and they have great selection.
