Salted caramel Appletini (delicious)

I stumbled on this place near me on yelp. And let me tell you it deserves 10 stars! Taylor was our waiter. He was thorough, friendly, accommodating (I have so many food allergies ‍) and so much more. The ambiance of the restaurant is top notch. It's warm and welcoming and just quaint. The food.... Wow! Chef's kiss. I wish I had taken better pictures but I couldn't take the first bite fast enough. we went all the way with appetizers, salad, entrees, extra sides, multiple bar drinks, and dessert..... still coming in under $200 total tab. I can't wait to come back and try out all new items. The only suggestion I have is that when we walked in (first time) we asked the hostesses did we have to have a reservation or can we just walk in?.... They looked at us like deer in headlights and seated us... which was fine. I will find the answer out. 10/10 I highly recommend. We will absolutely be back.

Having dinner at The Ginocchio was a great experience when visiting Marshall! Incredibly friendly staff, everything we ordered was Amazing! Absolutely loved the skirt steak. The building itself is beautiful and the decorations match the architecture and vibe perfectly!

Excellent place, 5 stars without any doubt for all courses. I polished my plates and was not willing to share my desert after I tried it. Fresh oysters, excellent venison, steaks and fish were very good. Desert ( I had a bread pudding and regret I did not order a double portion) was totally a Michelin star level. My team also had several Snow Bear cocktails. I certainly will be in this place again and will recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. Thank you so much, Alan and all your team. Such a wonderful place.

Delicious bread.

Was an absolutely horrible train ride to Marshall, but once I arrived , The Ginocchio saved my day. This East Texas gem is oozing charm and hospitality, and the food was incredible. The complimentary bread was fresh and warm , and the pasta was perfection.

Blue crab claws , so good.

Way too expensive for what you get. The pictures are not the size you get. Walked out thinking, got ripped off.

The potato's and "green beans" (haricots verts) were so amazing and delicious. The dessert was so tasty, I couldn't stop eating. The appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip) was so delicious, I wish it had just a little more spinach in it but overall I loved the chunky artichoke and all the cheese. The chips were a side to it and they appeared freshly baked and super crispy. Heavily seasoned but perfect. Everything was just amazing. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived (around 5p is when they opened) but picked up later in the evening. There is a small bar where happy hour starts around 4p. It was a great experience. The staff was great! Our waiter (Scott) was extremely friendly and had the perfect amount of "checking on us" timing. He wasn't doing too much or too little. He checked on us at the right moments and was extremely patient when we were deciding dessert. He was quick to take our order and got us our food in a timely manner. Everything was just perfect. It was too loud in the patio and I had a wobbly chair‼‼‼won't be returning. You need to beef up your food with the prices that you charge, it should be good. My husband had a $62 filet mignon that was too spicy and not a good quality. I had the trout. It was ok. I did not like stacking the food. Trying to be fancy and your patron can't find what they ordered. Had a wonderful server and the bread was good.

Serenity Ranch is a full scale ranch and restaurant located about 40 minutes away from Longview…read more This place screams "unique experience" long before you set foot on the property. It only has 10 tables, so it is reservations only. Wanting to get on the experience, I made my reservations and set my expectations high. Driving there was a treat with the scenic views. Their signs on the main road outside of the restaurant make it very easy to navigate to the restaurant, even with limited visibility at night. We were immediately greeted by the valet driver and then the General Manager, who seated us promptly. (He visited with us after the meal and checked to make sure everything was up to our liking.) The inside was very intimate. The 10 tables were perfectly spaced to make the ambiance as good as it could get. It felt like you were alone, but not so quiet that it was uncomfortable either. Waters were poured and warm French bread was served. We were off to a great start. The waitress took good care of us overall. Her recommendations were helpful and her demeanor was very pleasant. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese along with the mushroom cap appetizers - both were flawless. For entrees - we ordered the ribeye and halibut. Both were well seasoned and excellently cooked. The fish was flavorful and flaky. The Brussel sprouts that we paired with the entrees were a poor choice. They felt soggy and not the flavor we were wanting. This was the ONLY complaint when it came to food as everything else was cooked to perfection. At a restaurant of this caliber, the small details are what make or break the experience for me. The drink service was very slow and the drinks themselves felt pretty watered down (not strong). It was close to 15-20 minutes between when I had finished my first drink and was asked if I wanted a second one. I asked for blue cheese crumbles with the steak and the waitress never brought or mentioned them. I asked for French fries in place of the scalloped potatoes, and the steak came with the scalloped potatoes instead. When I asked for fries to come out in addition to the steak (thinking the kitchen may have messed up), the waitress sounded like this was the first time I had asked for fries. I would definitely come back. But for the price tag that comes with this place ($375 was tab for 2), I hope the small details are capitalized on next time to secure that 5 star review.
