We were in town on a recent Friday visiting family and were excited to find a gay bar in Longview. RMC far exceeded our expectations. The people were very friendly - owners, staff and other patrons. The bar is really nice - larger than expected with cool artwork (the saltwater aquarium is also a nice touch). All sorts of people were there - the L, G, B and T were all represented. Huge disappointment! So I've been "hearing all over town" that the best place to get cocaine is the RMC. Needless to say I jumped on the chance to get some booger sugar and a cocktail and headed downtown to the RMC. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly faces and a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect! Now for the cocaine. I didn't see any cocaine, but I thought, "well you just walked in". So, I ordered a margarita on the rocks, perfectly made by the beautiful bartender, and headed to the patio. Assuming that's where all the cocaine was, you can imagine my disappointment when all I found were more friendly people sitting and talking, enjoying drinks and snacks and the cool evening air all while being softly illuminated in the perfect amount of ambient lighting. The drinks kept flowing and alas the realization that I had spent more of the evening socializing and way less time (zero) doing cocaine than I intended set in. In a last ditch effort to get my hands on, and nose in, that powdery goodness that cocaine is, I hit the one place I hadn't been, the bathroom. Turns out there was no cocaine in there either, but it did smell nice, was clean, and had plenty of toilet paper. It should be noted that there wasn't even anyone's name and number scratched into the stall that may have been able to provide some cocaine. Huge bummer. Overall I spent about 4 hours drinking, making new friends, and listening to good music. All without ever being offered any cocaine. No cocaine at all. I'll go back for sure, with the great drinks, readily available delicious snacks, and cool people there's no reason not to. I'll just have to get my cocaine at the other bars like I assume everyone else does, since this place clearly doesn't have any. read more

This is my favorite bar/dance club in Longview!! The people here, including the owner, are the nicest and most loving people! Have made several friends here already. I also love the music they play. The majority of the dance clubs around here play mostly country. I can handle that, but I like hip hop dance music a lot more. I just always have a great time when I go here to dance and have fun. I'm not homosexual, and you don't have to be on order to have fun here either! Come join us!! They have karaokee and drag shows also. read more

since the new owners have taken over this place sucks bartenders cant make drinks prices are higher than most bars around. the cover charge is highest in town and for what shows are horrible take my advice spend your money elsewhere this place is bot worth a trip to. read more

I Love RMC!! I've been here a couple times now. The bartenders super awesome! The people are really uplifting and entertaining haha. I went in one time that they had karaoke going on! They had a super good sound system too. The only thing I would say is I've gotten a little bummed at the cover charge they have some times at the door, but thats the price you pay sometimes I guess for a good time ‍ lol. read more

Great atomosphere! Everyone is welcomed, never have any trouble. Music is great, staff are all very nice! They always have great drink specials and Les is always up for any suggestions! As a young gay male, I always enjoy going to RMC when I get the chance. I normally will go there during drag shows which are a lot of fun. Everyone is kind and sweet. The performers are always charming. Drinks are fairly cheap and always drinkable. This is a place where if you want to bring friends you should. Going alone is not a bad idea. You can make plenty of friends here if you get lucky. The main reason why I love this bar is that it's the one of few that East Texas have a gay bar. I'm grateful that we have a supportive crowd and crew in RMC. read more

I was pretty impressed with this club. Nice big dance stage, several bars with good bartenders. Outdoor patio which was kept nicely heated even on a chilly winter night. Very diverse crowd covering the LGBT rainbow and allies as well. read more
