Food was delicious hot and fresh. Customer service seemed attentive and quick. My only gripe is the prices I ordered a fish and chips lunch and 16oz pop and it was almost $20 bucks lol. Which is a bit steep for lunch. Should've gotten the soup lol. Anyways the fish and chips meal came with everything on the menu that it was supposed to come with it minus the coleslaw which was a bummer and which is why I took away a star. I would recommend them based off of one busy lunchtime experience.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Easily the most accommodating diner I've ever been to. The staff is continuously great and the most friendly people you will ever meet. Since I work right across the street, I am here quite often and I have never had a bad experience. The food is absolutely amazing. If you're a breakfast connoisseur such as myself, look no further for the best breakfast sandwich in town. And for an extra $2.50, you get a coffee and tots -- and let me tell tell you the tater tots are phenomenal. They always have a variety of soups everyday and they're deliciously paired with a lightly toasted bread. Do yourself a favor and try this place out! I would post a picture of my breakfast sandwich but it's gone already!

Pick 2 combo: chicken noodle soup and Italian melt. Both were really good!

I work down the street so I grabbed lunch to-go and it was amazing! They were really fast with my order and the food was nice and hot when I picked up. I got the pick 2 combo which is a great deal, portions are big for a combo. The homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious and the sandwich was packed. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back!

I've been wanting to check this place out for quite some time now, as I live real close by, but I want to say that when they first opened, the hours were real short and I just didn't have the time? I could be wrong though. Now let's get to the review. Stopped in for lunch with my sister and my toddler son, picked a table to sit at, looked at the menu (a few already at each table), decided what we wanted, and went up to the counter to place our order. Girl behind the counter was so very nice, gave my son a big coloring book and crayons. We sat and a few min later our food was brought to us. We all got a sandwich with tots. Sandwiches were hearty and tots yummy. The whole menu looks delicious. There are breakfast options as well and there's a cute coffee bar! Will be happy to try the breakfast soon

Like an apple cider cocktail! Texas brisket sandwich 10/10 This sandwich was amazing. The brisket was so good. I did put some bbq sauce on it too. The sunrise sizzler 10/10 Medium rare. Cooked perfect. My husband was weary about the egg but he actually loved it. Good burger! Pimento Mac & cheese 8/10 Wasn't my favorite. I didn't love the consistency of the cheese sauce. And it was a little too spicy for me Sweet corn pudding 9/10 Had an interesting flavor and taste to it. You definitely need a couple bites to get used to it, but it was good! Peanut butter Oreo cheesecake 8/10 We got this to go and honestly didn't end up eating much of it. It was good, I just didn't love all the ganache on top.

Attentive service. Had the 2 meat platter with brisket and jalapeño sausage. Brisket very good. Tender and tasty. Sausage was great. Just enough jalapeño bite to keep things interesting. Sides: Mac and Cheese very good. Creamy and also with a nice kick. Sweet potato fries perfect. The honey dipping sauce very tasty. Tried the "sweet corn pudding". Interesting. Cornbread stuffing and corn. Might make for Thanksgiving. Cornbread a bit too smooth, more cakey than coarse. Wife had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and Honey Poppyseed Coleslaw. The sandwich was huge. It looked great. She enjoyed it. They were fairly busy for a Tuesday, hoping that's a good sign.

The presentation of the food was lovely. Both woman I dined with were pleased with their food. I however was disappointed with the lack of flavor with my chicken pita. I was grateful to be in sturdy jeans rather than linen pants or a delicate skirt that could have been snagged on the broken fabric. Eddie, our server, was friendly and offered recommendations when we couldn't decide. Sadly, he was the only server working on a Sunday night and while the restaurant wasn't packed, it was busy enough that we waited longer than we should have for our food and our payment to be processed. I ordered the truffle fries which was the best decision of the evening. The malt vinegar aioli was an interesting accompaniment. I also ordered the gouda bacon burger. The brioche bun was fluffy and buttery, the burger (which I was not asked my cooking preference, med, well, etc) had a crispy char on the outside and was nicely pink throughout. I specifically asked for no chips, because if I was eating truffle fries, I was not eating homemade chips and I didn't want them going to waste. I did get 3 pickle spears instead, so the rest of the plate didn't look bare. My friend ordered the Walnut Brussel Sprouts and Pumpkin Risotto. The sprouts were undercooked and the risotto was cold and overcooked. The food options were pleasantly varied and I would have loved the opportunity to try dessert (I love creme brulée) but perhaps going another day when there are more staff. Sorry all, no pictures this time.

The service was very good and it's a cute spot that I'd be willing to come back to. The best thing we had BY FAR were the beef croquettes. These were perfect, and I could have made a meal out of them. They had a tender birria like shredded meat inside with some cheese and probably some potato, I can't even remember but I do remember that everyone loved these. We also ordered asparagus, the Korean Fried Chicken, the shrimp with potatoes (all small plates) and one of my friends ordered the duck entree. My husband and friends had cocktails and mocktails; I didn't order one because they said they had nothing that was sweet. Incidental pet peeve: Saying "all our cocktails are balanced". I get it, you want to brag. But, some of us like things that are sweet, or as in the case of one of my friends, decidedly NOT sweet. If all of your cocktails are balanced the same way, it gives little useful info on what to order. I will respond to this by NOT ordering and sticking to tap water. I'd prefer it if you have a little something sweet and a little something not-sweet on the menu for those of us who don't actually want "perfectly balanced". That said, I did have a sip of the cocktails the others ordered. To my surprise, I liked the Broken Garden Tools. Though it wasn't particularly sweet it was also not super sour/tart and it was refreshing. I *could* have ordered that one, but I never would have known it from the description. I didn't like any of the others I tasted, but I can't remember what those were. Since I don't like whisky and I prefer sweet drinks, don't take this to mean that they don't have good drinks - the others enjoyed theirs, they just weren't to MY taste. Of the other dishes, I liked the cabbage that was on my friend's duck plate (I didn't try the duck). The asparagus was fine. The shrimp and potatoes was ok but not as good as I'd hoped for. And honestly, I didn't love the KFC. It didn't seem to be twice-fried and super crispy like KFC should be, and the sauce to me wasn't balanced between the sweet and spicy flavors I prefer. However, my husband liked it very well. The only other thing I'd caution is to double check ingredients. There was a dish ordered (I can't remember which now, some kind of bread maybe, but not listed as a bruschetta) that said it contained rosemary among other things but did not list basil. We saw no rosemary at all, but a lot of basil, which I can't eat. So I didn't have any. The others shared it. I would have been more disappointed had it been my selection. My friend noted that the server did not ask us about any food allergies, which, if your menu doesn't accurately list its contents, is problematic. Fortunately I know what basil looks like so no harm done. All in all, I would return, get lots of croquettes, order a Broken Garden Tools, and maybe try some other things we didn't get to. But I'd double check all the ingredients.
