I do believe some steps of the process of both mani and pedi were skipped for some reason- usually they clip the skin around the nails or file them perfectly straight... again- attention to detail was lacking. For the amount of time I spent there, I expected some great work. They have a points program but you have to earn over 400 points to get it, and each point is a dollar. Seems far fetched. I had gotten my dip powder for awhile from another place, but it's a bit unaffordable now. The other place I was going got to be a bit uncomfortable as well with certain things happening every time I went in. So I found Aidiles while searching for somewhere new, and I'm really happy I did. She took my dip powder off and I could see my nails again! I've had it taken off before, and they had left my nail with a bunch of it still on just without the color, so it was nice to go somewhere where they care enough to actually take the dip powder off correctly. I told her the color I wanted and she quickly showed me the pink, which had a great name that is escaping me. It was just the color I was looking for. She waxed my eyebrows and my underarms. I've always had pain after getting my underarms waxed for at least up to 24 hours after I get it done. I had none after the initial ripping pain lol. The environment is nice, the people are great, and the service is fantastic! It's worth it to go in if you haven't, and it's worth it to return if you have been here before. I typically request an appointment online and despite doing so unless it is early in the morning the appointment always runs much longer than necessary due to how busy they are. I'm not sure if it is due to overbooking or just allowing too many walk-ins, but I have definitely had to wait over 20 minutes for an appointment I made in advanced which is unacceptable. Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.
