2-3 years ago this place was fantastic. The indoor go-carts would have a max speed race every other race and the track was much bigger. The staff were very nice and respectful to visitors. All the attractions were really fun. Now, that all has suddenly changed. Being an older sibling of 2 season pass younger siblings, this year has been an horrific experience. The management absolutely sucks as they really don't care. Outdoor go carts were taken away because they couldn't afford the maintenance on them and didn't want to pay people to fix them. The moby dick was taken away and my brothers loved that attraction over the past few years. Also, there are two tilt a whirls, one inside and one outside which is a waste of an attraction. The fun coaster constantly breaks down which keeps people in line waiting longer and making them super frustrated. My brothers were on this fun coaster and they were hurt from suddenly stopping on the track and it broke down when they were on it. Next, this place wastes so much outside land for more attractions next to and behind the water park it is pathetic. The inside tilt a whirl was a waste to add as there is already one outside and it squeaks so loud that I get a piercing headache. So, if you aren't going to fix this tilt a whirl inside then get rid of one or the other one. Make up your mind. The foam pit smells really bad and is filthy dirty. This is a cleanliness hazard to little children. The water park should close when the park closes not 2-3 hours before. Is it that much of a problem to pay life guards for a couple of hours more? The food is a rip off as 1 wing is a dollar in an order of 8 for a total of $8. Really? The food is that good? If you ask me it tastes like dog poop. The staff seems very racist now and they make many excuses against max speed races. They say, "we can't do it, it's too busy." That is funny because no one is in line at the time. The rules for the go-carts and in general are made up on a day by day basis and are not set in place beforehand. This is a major issue for safety. To be honest, most of the staff are African American and they seem to only let other African Americans have an advantage over white's on the go carts. Today, there was an experience where everyone on the race was white except one grown man. The workers were all African American and they let him go on max speed and no one else. That is really unsafe and uncalled for. The Funplex has really gone downhill ever since coming here 2-3 years ago. The staff and management really don't care I guess because they are not getting payed what they want. But, that shouldn't be an excuse to run this place into the drains. If there is one good about this place it is that the water park is fun but can use some add-ons. Please make Funplex like it was 2 or 3 years ago. read more

Oh my god where do I begin this one. Let me preface this by saying- I full expected our night here to have a little mayhem. It's a child's play place, and so it comes with the territory. We came here tonight for 1 round of golf. The place was packed, but the golf didn't seem so bad. We paid $18 for one round for the two of us. It started out fine, and then I noticed a group of young kids running all over the place. They were far away enough where it wasn't affecting us at the moment. Then they started invading every single hole. I can also note that their "mother" (using that term extremely loosely) and another woman were playing their own game of golf ahead. Literally letting their kids act like animals. It got to the point where the kids were just sitting on the courses, swinging their golf clubs at full speed, meanwhile the adults with these kids were laughing. We ended up leaving mid course and asking for a refund. This place is pretty unbelievable that they don't enforce some sort of parental supervision. They literally let kids act like animals, and allow the parents to not pay attention/care. We live down the street from this hellhole, and used to come here a lot in the summer only for the mini golf, but this place has gone so far down hill it's disgusting. Now that they've opened the splash plex, you have disgusting people walking around half naked, no shoes. It literally repulses me just thinking about it. Not to mention it's literally run by a bunch of teenagers. It took over 30 minutes for 4 of them to figure out how to open the register and refund $18. read more

I would give a zero if I can. This place was better a few years ago the workers greeted you and said hello! Now this place sucks! Some of the workers are RACIST! I was on the go carts and there was two workers that were African American and they let one African American guy go on the max speed (c) while I was riding around on the normal speed and he was bumping into everyone and making everyone crash. THAT IS NOT SAFE! That is why the management sucks, they don't give a shit about anything! They need to hire people that like their job. They have no good attractions, they used to have outdoor go carts and more. They have land that is sitting there while they could put more attractions. The foam pit smells like shit and it is filthy dirty I am surprised no one gets sick! The food is a rip off they charge $16 for a pizza and charge 1 for a topping ,While I can go to a pizza place near me and get 2 pizzas for the price of one If you ask me their food is shit it taste like dog shit. They rip you off and charge $40 for a band to do everything except the arcade. They make up there own rules as they go on the go carts and in general and are not Written. They tell me I cant keep on going on the go carts because they need to charge them! The only good thing I like about this place is the one worker Matt S., not the manager. He works the fun coaster because he likes his job. The water park is nice but they need to add more slides with all of that extra space that is rotting away. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! read more

If I could give The Funplex in Mount Laurel 0 stars I would. It was the most unenjoyable experience I have ever had from start to finish. Not only are there rude 15 year olds running the place behind the desk as soon as you walk in who read off their absurd rates for sections of the park like robots with no personalities, but the amount of day camps and disgusting looking people that are constantly running into you the whole time make you feel like you need to shower the second you step into the park. There is no management walking around, the line to get food was long and slow. Once you then get to the counter to order, there is yet another 15 year old who did not say a word (not one employee had customer service skills.) Then we waited for the food for about 20 minutes and then had to ask where our order was, and once we finally did get our order, the food was barely edible. The ICEE stand on a hot summer day had ONE flavor (Lemon), and they just so happened to be out of the cool kid cups so of course we missed out on that. Needless to say this experience was revolting just like the mass groups of fat and gross people who I saw attend a park like this. This was my first and very last time ever going back here, and if I was able to stand one more second in that pig sty I would have spoken to a "manager" and demanded my money back for the disgusting experience. read more

This is the worst 'amusement park" I've been to in my life. Just took my daughter and her friend. Besides the high cost of admission, I couldn't even watch to ensure they were safe without purchasing the same cost of admission for myself, despite me not participating at all in the amusements (this should be a crime). Then I had to pay extra for the arcades which were all out of order by the time we went to use them. When I told the staff, they told me I couldn't get my money back (after telling me that the arcades are down all the time). This should also be a crime. And oh yeah... now you have to pay to park there. I could go on and on about this horrible place. Bottom line, save your hard earned money and go somewhere that appreciates its' customers. It's quite clear that making $$ is their only concern. They don't care about quality or customer service. Stay away from Funplex. Trust me... it's anything but fun!! read more

I would take this place over Chuck E. Cheese any day! The arcade is a lot of fun, they have a bowling alley, an indoor jungle gym, roller coaster simulator, laser tag... and thats all just INSIDE. In the summertime you can do mini golf, bumper boats, and go karts! Really, what is not to love? This is the ideal place for a date if you want to release your inner child... or just a place to bring your child. I haven't been to one here but I feel like it would be the ideal location for a child's birthday party. Definitely check it out if you are looking for something fun to do. read more

Holy crap.. kiddie city hell,, parents that ignore their kids. if they had a little class then ok but they let their kids run wild. there is a water area. bathroom smelly and disgusting.. if you want to play minature golf.. and your an adult. go somewhere else!! there was a little girl playing behind us. , we felt bad asked her where her parents were she said my mom is playing somewhere with my brother and i can play by myself.. she was 7.. someone should call dhs on this place. read more

A bucket of golf balls (60+ balls) is 6 bucks. You can't beat that. I usually go on my lunch break and there is never a crowd. My only complaint would be in regards to the fact that you pay for your token on one side of the driving range and walk a few hundred yards to the other side to get your balls. Doesn't make sense. read more
