The staff was so rude im still in shock. They better have a more in depth hiring process! We paid to have the kids go in the foam ball shoot frenzy thing and it wasn't working.... so i asked the staff member if it was working and he just stares and says "oh its either not turned on or broke" and just stands there. Had so much fun in this place. We went Memorial Day weekend with my family and everyone had a lot of fun. I was expecting the place to be packed but it wasn't at all. The lines weren't ridiculously long. We were able to go on rides 2-3 times because the lines were short. The price was great too. If you aren't planning on going on any rides it's free to get in. Even if you want the extreme band it's only $39 which includes everything except arcade. I enjoyed it better than great adventure and it's cheaper too. I would definitely come here again either location is good for me. read more

My six year old son loves the Fun Plex. The best time to go is on a Sunday morning between 10 am and noon. You get the best price for the bracelet that's good for all indoor and outdoor attractions, and you can come and go all day. We usually will leave for lunch as the food prices and menu options are not exactly the best. Laser tag, bowling, the foam frenzy, go karts, bumper cars, arcade games, and other exciting attractions will keep kids busy for hours.While there are a lot of kids roaming around unsupervised, I find the majority to be polite and respectful at this place compared to other places we go. Some of the adults or older teenagers that ride on the go karts can be obnoxious, but eventually they will move on to another ride. Employees are in their late teens or early-twenties. Most are friendly and helpful. Some keep themselves occupied by flirting with customers. The place is relatively clean as in there's not garbage on the floor, but the interior is older and so are some of attractions. I use a lot of hand sanitizer especially after being in the foam frenzy. read more

The trip to Funplex started out ok. Then it went to bell in a hand basket very quickly. First off we wanted to play mini golf and it took 20 minutes just to get our tickets. Once on the course kids were running wild and across our hole a few times with no supervision. I was surprised there are no staff monitors to prevent this. After mini golf we went inside and we played a few games but seems like they were rigged, out of tickets or broken. We told someone working and they seemed uninterested. We then went to grab something to eat and ordered a pizza and soda and 35 minutes later we got our pizza which was cold by then. Next time we will spend our money elsewhere read more

Machines ripped us off of tickets. Informed several employees. They didn't seem to care. Finally 20 minutes later (when we were getting ready to leave) I was told they would have someone come and look at it. I took my kids and my wife on a very nice Sunday afternoon at this wonderful place. I did notice at the time was going by it wasn't run the proper and safest way as it wasp monitored by young teenagers. I was on the bumper boat and when we got off the boat the guy and the rest of the staff didn't bother to help me and my family off the boat like your suppose to do, that's one gripe. The other one was the water park the measured my daughter and said she was fine going down the slide then the next one said she was too short.....they need to make up their mind!!! Why are there no bathrooms by the waterpark??? There was a Code Adam and the female lifeguard had no clue what was going on. Me and my wife and couple other family members could tell what was going on and asked for help but the girl nearby ignored it....wow!! Fun place to take your kids. Deals to be had based on what you plan to do. Eat before you go, food is not too good and food prices seem high. The offering of fun choices causes me to issue a pass to them for poor food value, you can eat anywhere. read more

Perfect place for a kid's birthday party. Great rides and attractions. The thing I APPRECIATED the MOST was the level of cleanliness! The party leader had all the kids sanitize before eating and wore gloves. If you have a party here definitely request Sam!! read more

The mini golf and laser tag is pretty decent. Wish they had kept the driving range. It was my favorite part of this place.

The place itself is decent, however I had a few problems while there for a friends birthday. Since we went on a weekday a lot of the activities were closed or only open during certain time frames. While paying they tried my card several times and told me it did not go through yet my online statement told me they charged me several times then tried to argue with my credit card company that they did not take any money, when there was clear proof of it. Lastly, most of the staff was very rude or did not want to be bothered with our business. I get that its a weekday, but come on. They made the first part of my friend's birthday go way worse than planned. I can say that the 4d theater, as well as the laser tag and the race cars were fun, but thats all they have going for them. We attended a party here on 8/26. The place is huge and we got lost trying to find our party room because we were not given the correct directions when we walked in. The girl who ran the party was good about keeping the kids organized and moving from activity to activity (ball pit, laser tag, bumper cars) on time. The pizza was ok. The bathrooms were gross and smelled like farm animals were using them instead of human beings and a lot of the staff just seemed out of it. Letting too many kids on rides without noticing or being oblivious when 3 bumper cars got jammed together and the ride was no longer working. I had to literally tap staff on the shoulder after the kids were yelling for their attention for several minutes. There were a lot of strange characters hanging out at this place...think "people of walmart" or "creatures of seaside" style. The kids seemed to have a decent time but I felt like I needed to take a bath in hand sanitizer after leaving this place. read more

My boyfriend and I came to play mini golf on a Saturday night. It was more like a playground than a golf course. There were kids walking or running across almost every hole as we were trying to play. A couple of rude adults actually did this too. One unsupervised little boy who looked about 3 or 4 wandered over to our hole as I was trying to hit the ball. He put his ball down and started playing. I have never experienced anything like this before. We talked to a manager and received a free round of golf for another day but we definitely won't be coming back. read more

My wife recommended taking the kids to the Fun Plex for the day. It was a nice day and overall experience was good. We arrived and the Camp buses were leaving so there was almost no wait for anything. Arriving a 3pm and we ended up staying until 8pm. The only reason I do not rate the Funplex a 5 star is because a couple times the teenagers controlling the lines/rides passed my 6year old son by and let the teenagers on. On this day on the inside race carts he was passed 3 times in a row so we walked away (very unhappy he could not ride the carts he waited all day for). Other than that the place was great fun. Maybe they can add more video games to play but other than that we will try it again next summer. The little water park was nice to watch my 3kids run around in as well. read more

Can't believe the XD theater isn't included in the wrist band anymore. My son would typically do that 4 or 5 times a trip. Now that it's a separate charge they've basically doubled the cost for me to go there. It's a great place but one that we'll be unfortunately visiting less frequently now. read more

It's a great place for the kids to have fun. The majority of employees are teens or early 20's and every time I come here (my daughter has a season pass) 97% of them look miserable. There's lack of communication between employees and employees to customers. Management is eh. Only reason they get 3 stars is cause my daughter loves it and it is fun place to come. This place is starting to get redic. Last year they told me my 7 year old had to drive the go cart himself. He was not allowed to drive in a double car with me. Then we go to bumper cars. My son is second in line. A group of obnoxious kids push my son aside and run in. There are no cars left. So my kid does not get on. Kid running the ride shrugs his shoulders. We went today, they still do not have the lanyards for the passes. I couldn't find the stupid white card they make you carry around for the ride. She was not going to let him on the ride. He has his pass and a wristband. Then we go to get a drink. Signs all over 2$ Tuesdays. 2$ bowling games, shoes, hotdogs drinks. Ok I will take a drink. First she tries charging me 4$. I point to the sign. Then she tells me she can't figure out how to do it. The manager walk over. I can either pay more for the drink or get nothing. I just walked away. Our first time to the Funplex which was an easy enough trip from Manhattan. Our boys are 10 and 12 and they thoroughly enjoyed. We did the all-inclusive $34 wristband which gave them unlimited access to maybe 6 or 7 rides. The rest of the place was chock-full of arcade type games which are additional cost and very enticing to the kids since they spew out reward tickets which can be exchanged for prizes. Thus, between the wristband and the arcade games, it can get quite costly if you don't set limits. There is a food concession that had typical fare and the prices seemed fair. There was a sign that said "no outside food allowed" but I saw some who did. There is ample seating in the cafeteria area and upstairs for parents. Would be nice to have seen some phone charging stations and the WiFi could have been stronger. We arrived at noon (on a Saturday) which was not too crowded but by 3PM, the place was really crowded. The noise level is intense between kids shrieking in delight and the clang of the machines. But, it is a Funplex so it is to be expected. Ample parking, the place looked clean, and for us, a 1 or 2x visit per year would be sufficient. read more

Went here for my nieces 7th birthday party and the activities are extremely fun. We had a great time but this is getting two stars because while we are playing bowling the staff took it upon themselves to remove all of he parties personal items out of the room and shove everyone's jackets into a trash bag. They should have everyone go back and get their own belongings rather than them doing that. The ABSOLUTE worst part is the entire place smelled like pot being that there were people smoking weed right outside the door. That is suppose to be a family place and you don't do that in a family setting. Fun pled really needs to get together and get rid of that because you are attracting the wrong crowd and losing the family fun setting. Huge disappointment!!!!!!!!! And when I told the staff member at the front door she didn't even say anything, I pointed out exactly who it was. Those people need to be kicked out. read more
