The clown and basketball game didn't even have balls to play. Kept getting told to see another employee for the refund. The mini golf was definitely worth it. Had a decent time and it didn't take too long to get around. The passes for going on rides were decently priced. The food was overpriced so we decided to just buy it somewhere else when we were done. I decided to go here for my son birthday celebration. It was 4 adults and 9 children. It was a great deal that included credit on a play card if you spent over a certain amount of money with the rewards card. The lady at the counter was very helpful and patient with us. I brought my younger siblings here on a Monday night. There is a special where if you show up after 4:00pm it's only $28 per person for unlimited rides, water park, and other activities except for arcade. Now I only have two issues with this place. First being the staff. The staff was literally all VERY unetusiastic kids. Kids that did not smile or talk what so ever. I made it on and off a ride multiple times without even hearing this one guys voice. On one ride, our belts weren't even checked. I'm the kind of person that looks for fun outgoing people especially in a setting with children around and these teenagers were anything but. In my observations i noticed A LOT of flirting between staff and A LOT of nonsense. We waited over 10min to get on gokarts because the two guys running it had to finish their conversation first. Another issue I had was the arcade. Even though our wrist bands didn't include it, we still walked by and checked it out. All the claw machines were not play till you win which is annoying. The facilities at the Funplex are great. The lazy river, splash zone, and pool are great for young kids in the summer and the reason we got a season pass. The actual execution, though, is one of the worst I've seen. Even with a season pass, you need to wait in line inside the arcade to get a wristband to get into the pool. And either the computer system is too slow, they are understaffed, or both- because the line takes FOREVER. The card system is bad too. They give out 2 cards- a "ride card" and another for everything else. But they look identical. But they are not interchangeable. And if you put credits on the wrong one, you can't use them. read more

This was a awesome idea but not executed well. Only 2 of the 8 outside rides are working. This count does not include the water ride which are not open because of the weather. They nickel and dime you. Online they say the Extreme band includes all expect video. Then they make you pay an additional 2 dollars if you want to play mini golf. I appreciate how the Funplex fills a void of fun and entertainment in the area that was missing from the community, so I will focus this 1-star review to emphasize the crane game practices of this institution, which are appalling. I have good memories of using "honest" crane games as a child and visited the Funplex hoping to relive some of the joy and excitement of these little inventions. In short, the crane games are corrupt and parents, grandparents, and caregivers have every right to condemn and demand that the Funplex reform them. It is a horrible experience to watch children pouring what little savings they have into crane games that are clearly stacked against even the most skilled crane operator. The idea of the crane game was, and should continue to be, a reward for the "skill" of the operator. A level of skill is needed to focus and position the crane to grab an item. To a child developing focus and tactile ability, a crane game can be a positive and rewarding machine. The Funplex is not on-board with this "classical" concept. Their motivation is purely to extract every easy dollar and cent from the most disadvantaged customer: our children. It is understandable that a crane game owner (e.g. the Funplex) must find ways to increase the "challenge" of the game in order to cover the overhead to operate and maintain the machine as well as to replenish its prizes. However, the solution to these challenges should not be to "rig" the cranes, so that even after a child has perfectly grabbed the toy and placed every birthday dollar from their grandmother, the crane does not have enough force and "let's go" of the prize. Moreover, there are many creative and honest ways of increasing the challenge of a crane game, such as positioning the prizes on their side, upside down, etc. (though not to densely pack toys so the crane cannot get them or place the toys in corners where children and the crane cannot reach.) The Funplex, and all crane operators, should not mislead children to believe that it is their "lack" of ability or a "fault" with our children to explain why they cannot win. The children cannot win because the crane is corrupt. I invite any person to visit the Funplex and see for themselves these shameful practices. Placing a crane perfectly over an item, the item will "let go" and "slip" through and to deny the prize, though the Funplex won't show any signs to indicate it. Each attempt is $1, after 17 tries ($17), a child could not win something most of us would find in a five-below store. This has to change. These common-sense solutions are simple and Funplex's owners could do it as easily and soon as today. 1.) Prizes should not be placed in crane games that exceed the weight the crane is able to carry, nor should cranes be "weakened" to prevent them from dispensing a prize. All cranes should be calibrated to have enough force to hold on to an item and dispense it if it is captured. (This also means the cranes should not "shake," nor "let go," nor allow prizes to "slip" through" their claws if correctly grabbed.) 2.) Prizes should be positioned loosely and spaciously enough to allow the crane to capture prizes and not densely packed or positioned to prevent the crane from grabbing a prize. (This excludes prizes that may naturally be underneath or at the bottom of a stack of prizes. The crane, at minimum, should be able to grab the prizes at the top.) 3.) Signs should clearly state if a crane game is set with a "disadvantage" to the operator. (I spoke with the manager whom privately shared with me that: Yes, there were disadvantages to make the cranes weaker.) If any crane owner must use a crane set with any "disadvantage" and a crane .operator plays a number of times as to exceed the fair-market value of the prize, the manager should award one of these prizes from the machine as fair reward. (This is how it was done in the past) I had to speak up about it because the Funplex is wrong. I hope this exhaustive review will help parents bring about the change all of us want. It's hard for everyone at this point in history to earn a living and children, especially, need honest crane games to have good childhood memories. read more

Cool place to take kids, but is definitely a once a year trip for us because it can get VERY expensive if you don't visit during any of the special incentive days/times. There is so much to do for all ages. Really like how all game, ride, winning tickets go onto card, makes everything so convenient. Check your child's height & do the math before you purchase wrist band. Staff wasn't very helpful in telling me which was best way to save money for my younger, shorter child. Glad I didn't get him a wrist band because he wasn't tall enough for most things. Also, even though kids love foam ball/gun game it is nasty, just seems dirty & smelled like vomit! read more

I will never go back to this place again! It was so dirty, the bathrooms had no soap and were very crowded. The games don't give you the credits it says it gives you. We were rushed through our game of mini golf because of a family not controlling their disrespectful children. I was constantly being bumped into by people being that it was so crowded and not enough space. Some of the workers were extremely rude and looked miserable. I enjoyed my day at The Funplex. We had a gift card (with a family of 5, that was a good thing). We purchased the top level bands so we had full access to everything. My 7 and 10 year old sons were big enough to try everything. I have a little guy (4 y.o. but he's a tiny little guy and at 36 inches wasn't big enough for a lot of the rides). This is something to keep in mind as you plan your day here. At $150 for our family, I didn't mind staying with my smallest but take an inventory if your family contains a person who won't be able to do all the activities. With that being said, there are things for the small munchkins. The Foam Frenzy is a lot of fun. Thousands of balls, dropping, shooting and flying. Unless you are there first thing in the morning (during the summer, not sure how it is during the week when school is in session) know you small person. If they are easily overwhelmed, this may not be for you. I have a pint size piston that thinks he's a "HUMONGOSAURUS" so this was awesome until it got really full. I had anxiety worrying about his tripping and possibly getting trampled when the bigger kids start their mad tag runs. (Just trying to prepare mom's of younger kids) The Lazer tag vest is too heavy for a small child. The young lady was great in suggesting the I wear the vest and he get the lazer gun. (Not an activity for a four year old) . Things that were perfect for the youngest in your group: the motion simulator, the double indoor gokarts, the little people bumper cars and bowling. The water park is full of water sprays and water slides. There are chairs for lounging and watching. They also had mini golf. The food and drinks are very expensive (that's too be expected at a venue of this type). My personal opinion, if you are going to spend the day: get the bands and pack a cooler. We live really close and left for a fast food lunch, went home and changed. It worked out great. The bigger boys had no complaints! There's a freefall ride and a "bucanneer" type ride. Do not expect Six Flags. But it is in the middle of Burlington County so you have that trade off. If you pick a ride to do, it's not too expensive. You can make it exactly what you want. Yikes, how could I forget. There's a big discount if you go on Sunday Morning! Next trip, I definitely would do that instead of Saturday. The wristbands are 18.95 as opposed to (I think) 27. On 081821, we visited this business establishment. Upon entering, there is a mask required sign which wasn't a problem. At the entry door , a ball headed man who was checking bags, wasn't wearing a mask and at one point he tried to reach for my 3 year old daughter and it appeared to me that he was trying to touch her hair. So this place is already giving me a bad vibe. We then were instructed to follow the lines which leads you to purchasing. I asked the lady who appears to be a teenager, that whether we can walk around first to see what kind of arcades do they have before making a purchasing decision but she rejected that idea, so I had to buy credits at the counter. She was a bit confusing by not providing me proper inf. When I asked about prices. Overall, this place is already but very expensive. We had 120 credits , and certain indoor rides were like 14 credits. Worst place I been in years! I literally just spent close to 200 dollars for my family of 4 and had the worst time ever!!! We were here last year and it wasn't so bad but this year was just a disgrace to all hard working customers that pay for their family to have a good time. Firstly they charged my 2 1/2 year old daughter regular admission rate because she just made the 36" mark which still limits her to only 2 parts of the water section because of age and height. At specific holes there were broken lights so how do they expect for me to see where I should hit ball to at night. your little person should probably be at least 42" to reap the bennies of the few rides and kiddie go karts. now...i didn't do bowling, but came here for the go karts. the outdoor track looks amazing, but was closed. so, the indoor electric go kart line was like, 45 minutes. it was nice enough BUT the teenagers totally gave me whip lash when they purposefully rammed into me during their parking of the karts at the end of our ride. GRRR. instant headache. and the ball pit thing where they have these really, really loud gun-shooting-ball things hurts your ears. i'm not exaggerating. the kids seemed to enjoy it enough....but i'm all about what we can all do together and enjoy as a family without having a mommy melt down. for that, the mini golf was pretty sweet although i had to politely inform a group of totally unattended 7-12 year-olds about mini golf etiquette. (they were skipping around and cutting in front of people.) the splash zone looks pretty cute for when summer rolls around, but it's small and i'm certain it would be over-crowded on the weekends. skipping around to the kiddie bumper cars here...the square footage they are crammed into is not very conducive to wee ones who are barely able to steer and keep their little foot on the pedal. even if your kid gets it right, the others will not and there will be a traffic jam 90% of the time. this is one cute thing that a little person that's at least 36" (and not 42") can do aside from the ball pit nightmare, mini golf, the simulator ride (accompanied by an adult), and the electric go karts (as a passenger only). still, it's only about $20. that's not too bad, but i would carefully consider the height requirements and maybe other places that have more square footage to accommodate hoards of kids and teens. read more

The only reason I give this two stars is because my kids love going here to have fun. The management there is horrible, unwilling to help in any circumstance. I really enjoyed our time there until we were delayed inside the building then refused the special prices. Also, the mobile site on any phone browser doesn't match the desktop version. You think you're purchasing a certain wrist band for your sons birthday because you are out of state to find out when they get there, that is not what was purchased and again management wanted to do nothing to remedy the issue. If I stated I was disappointed would be an understatement. I came here as a single mom with my 2 boys 7 & 5 years old. I don't really ride any rides but, I was told I needed to buy the general admission bracelet to go in with my kids. What I was never told was that once I was in there unless I had bought the full admission bracelet $59.99 - the same on I bought each of my kids that they would not be able to do anything without me and I would not be able to participate because I only bought the bracelet to get in and watch them. They could not go into the waterpark, or play mini golf, or bowl. Total was of $150 + dollars of hard earned money. If I would have been advised that they could not do any of the above with me buying the full bracelet I surely would have spent the extra money & bought it. This was a total waste of time and money and I really feel ripped off. The sad thing is my 2 boys were super excited only to be really let down. read more

All I can say is I was extremely disappointed in my overall experience. I was really excited about the website and reviews about the Funplex and very anxious to take my nephew and his friend there for a family day Out. We were looking for something new and exciting and believed this would be the perfect place for twelve year old boys on a rainy day. The first thing the boys wanted to do was ride the Go Karts. Without exaggeration, we waited in line over a whole hour and the line wasn't even that long. The five employees they had couldn't count to ten counting each other's fingers it literally took them twenty minutes to rotate each turn of the go karts. This was our first and last experience with this location . Our day was totally ruined after this and their nonchalant attitude made it all the worse. They are working with children and need to remember to keep it moving and keep their attitudes positive....Or find other employment.....I would never ever ever recommend this place or waste my money read more

Had so much fun in this place. We went Memorial Day weekend with my family and everyone had a lot of fun. I was expecting the place to be packed but it wasn't at all. The lines weren't ridiculously long. We were able to go on rides 2-3 times because the lines were short. The price was great too. If you aren't planning on going on any rides it's free to get in. Even if you want the extreme band it's only $39 which includes everything except arcade. I enjoyed it better than great adventure and it's cheaper too. The trip to Funplex started out ok. Then it went to bell in a hand basket very quickly. First off we wanted to play mini golf and it took 20 minutes just to get our tickets. Once on the course kids were running wild and across our hole a few times with no supervision. I was surprised there are no staff monitors to prevent this. After mini golf we went inside and we played a few games but seems like they were rigged, out of tickets or broken. We told someone working and they seemed uninterested. We then went to grab something to eat and ordered a pizza and soda and 35 minutes later we got our pizza which was cold by then. Next time we will spend our money elsewhere read more

My six year old son loves the Fun Plex. The best time to go is on a Sunday morning between 10 am and noon. You get the best price for the bracelet that's good for all indoor and outdoor attractions, and you can come and go all day. We usually will leave for lunch as the food prices and menu options are not exactly the best. Laser tag, bowling, the foam frenzy, go karts, bumper cars, arcade games, and other exciting attractions will keep kids busy for hours.While there are a lot of kids roaming around unsupervised, I find the majority to be polite and respectful at this place compared to other places we go. Some of the adults or older teenagers that ride on the go karts can be obnoxious, but eventually they will move on to another ride. Employees are in their late teens or early-twenties. Most are friendly and helpful. Some keep themselves occupied by flirting with customers. The place is relatively clean as in there's not garbage on the floor, but the interior is older and so are some of attractions. I use a lot of hand sanitizer especially after being in the foam frenzy. read more

I took my kids and my wife on a very nice Sunday afternoon at this wonderful place. I did notice at the time was going by it wasn't run the proper and safest way as it wasp monitored by young teenagers. I was on the bumper boat and when we got off the boat the guy and the rest of the staff didn't bother to help me and my family off the boat like your suppose to do, that's one gripe. The other one was the water park the measured my daughter and said she was fine going down the slide then the next one said she was too short.....they need to make up their mind!!! Why are there no bathrooms by the waterpark??? There was a Code Adam and the female lifeguard had no clue what was going on. Me and my wife and couple other family members could tell what was going on and asked for help but the girl nearby ignored it....wow!!
