Clunky website. Awful experience with my wedding. They called the night before the wedding to let…read moreus know the napkins we had locked in weeks ago were unavailable. Then, the day of the wedding, their driver did not show up during the delivery window, sending the event coordinator, DJ, and several family members into a blind panic scrambling to find linens for the tables, and the bartenders did not have the glassware they needed for the cocktail hour. They do not answer their phones on the weekend, which is absurd for an event rental company, so as far as we knew, they blew off our wedding entirely, creating massive stress for the event staff and for us, on our wedding day. Event Rental Ltd eventually showed up SIX HOURS LATE in the middle of the wedding, apologized to no one, awkwardly carried boxes through throngs of wedding guests during our cocktail hour, cheapening the event and making it seem sloppy. Then, a few days later, they had the audacity to charge me the full $1800 anyway as if nothing had happened. I called the company when we returned from our honeymoon to request a refund for services not properly rendered, and was told the most they could refund me was $500, which is about 27% of the cost. If we had purchased goods from them that we could keep, maybe I'd understand, but these are rentals that were returned to them in excellent condition and we really only paid for using them half the time we were supposed to have them, and for their delivery, which they screwed up royally. Because of this, I told the woman I spoke to on the phone that it was going to be a problem if they didn't give me an adequate refund, and then she bizarrely spent the rest of the phone call attempting to gaslight me by saying that I "threatened" her, that she didn't like my rude tone, and hung up on me while I was talking. I never raised my voice, berated her, or said anything bad. I was having a neutral conversation with her in the middle of a coffee shop, in public. I'm currently attempting to dispute the charge with Visa. Avoid this company at all costs!
