You can't pick your own berries or apples or anything, but the hayride out to the "pumpkin patch" is fun to do in the fall, and there is enough to do besides pumpkin picking to stretch it into a full afternoon of inexpensive family friendly fun. They have a playground, goats and alpacas, a small maze, plus plenty of food and live music on the weekends. My girlfriend, 11-year-old son and I recently tried their winter wonderland illuminated walking trail which they just started up in 2022. For the three of us, after taxes and fees, it was $57.90. It was a very pleasant night strolling the 1/4 mile trail filled with lights and christmas music, plus the several campfires set up at the end of the trail.

After a few months of looking for wedding venues and being absolutely overwhelmed with the amount…read moreof generic catering halls that weren't our style, we accidentally came across the community room at Kings Grant. It's not specifically for weddings (it was set up for a Sweet 16 birthday party when we went to see it for the first time), but it ended up being the perfect place for our wedding reception. Kings Grant itself is a community nestled in the woods by a beautiful lake in Marlton not far from Route 73. There're homes there as well as a small shopping plaza where we also ended up finding our flower vendor. The community room was originally only for use by people who lived in the community, but over the past few years has been opened up for anyone to use. Built at the edge of a tree-lined lake, the views we knew our guests would have during an October ceremony pretty much convinced us that this was the place for us. One wall of the room is made up entirely of glass windows, which allowed our guests to see that beautiful lake, and there's also a deck that guests can go out on to take a break from the partying inside. The dance floor wasn't the biggest, which suited our party just fine, and in the middle of it there's a lovely fireplace. The only con with the space is that large air conditioning ductwork that slightly separates the room, but the other pros were far more important to us. Once we knew that this was the place to have our wedding reception, Darlene here helped us plan a lot of the finer details. For example, we ended up going with Anthony Michael's, the caterer that she recommended. She only works a few days a week, but when she's available she was happy to answer any questions we had about our day. She has a very assertive attitude about what will and won't work in the space, having done this for twenty years, but we liked that, since we knew she was speaking from years of experience. Overall, we were so happy to have this be the venue for our wedding reception. The October trees looked amazing for our outdoor ceremony at the gazebo, the sun setting over the lake later in the evening was beautiful, and the space worked very well for our guests (of which there were about 110). We couldn't have asked for a space that was more our style.

The dining hall accomodates up to 120 guests and their state of the art commercial kitchen is amazing! I love that there are no restrictions on catering your own event. The rental rate is reasonable and the time allotment is generous. I find the management to be professional, gracious and very accommodating.

The courtyard was beautiful and goes right into the Meeting House so I was able to have a bagpiper play in the courtyard as I walked down the aisle. The price for the wedding was incredible, we paid for an extra hour, the use of the full kitchen, (which is huge and industrial), we also paid to set up the night before and for them to clean up. With all the extra requests we had and all the extra time it was still incredibly affordable. I loved that I didn't have to choose a venue that made me use their baker and caterer. We chose our food and our favorite bakery. We were able to buy beer and wine cheaply and serve it via bartender. We saved heaps of money doing the wedding here and people loved the history that resonates from this place. You don't have to be a Quaker, Quaker's are incredibly accepting of everyone and this makes it great if you have a lot of guests that are different religions, or do not have religion. That's how we felt with Estate at Eagle Lake from the moment we saw it in person! My husband Carlo and I got married at Estate at Eagle Lake on 7/22/2023 and we can't say enough amazing things about the venue and its staff! A huge and extra special shout-out to Brianna - the venue director, day-of coordinator, and for-hire wedding planner! She made our planning process and our actual wedding day absolutely seamless and perfect. She was even so thoughtful in making sure our other vendors were well taken care of and hydrated on our wedding day. We were really trying to "ball on a budget" and we were amazed and thankful with how much we were able to plan our day based on our budget here. Catering and alcohol are separate costs from the venue, so we were able to choose an amazing caterer within our budget from their preferred vendor list and we were able to do a "beer, wine, and signature cocktails" bar instead of a full open bar to save more money. Eagle Lake also includes so many AMAZING amenities in such an affordable cost: - The ENTIRE venue for your event from 7 AM - 11 PM - SO MANY PHOTO OP LOCATIONS including the love swing, sandy beach area with Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the evening, lakeside deck, cobblestone paths, rooftop area overlooking the lake, and plenty of grassy areas with beautiful flower blooms all over - Stadium seating for a lakeside ceremony that is livestreamed by the venue if requested. We opted to do the livestream so that our family in other states and overseas could watch! - Tented reception area with air conditioners and fans (the air conditioners are new as the owner Scott is always looking to make the venue better and more comfortable for all who come!) - Romantic rooftop area for cocktail hour complete with a shaded gazebo, little basketball hoops, and koi pond - A gorgeous bridal suite with 3 full salon setups - A very cool groom's suite with a pool table upstairs that the groom and groomsmen can use while they're "getting ready" - Indoor chapel and cocktail hour space for inclement weather - Photo booth which delivers photos digitally (no print outs) - Golf carts with attendants available to drive you around the venue As if my description isn't dreamy and too-good-to-be-true enough for you to book your next event here, you have to check the website for pictures and book a tour the venue yourself to see its true beauty!
