Not a bad spot to spend a night or two. The room was sized perfectly, had a nice couch with an ottoman, a working desk, a small yet efficient cabinet. The bathroom was spacious and so was the shower... you could hold a party of 3 easily, just saying. The hotel lounge area is HUGE and so is the dining room. You can chill and chop it up, or go outside and smoke it up in the outdoor fire pit. They also have an indoor pool and the gym area isn't to my liking, but you can get "it in". For the price tag, I would come here again. FYI: Free outdoor uncovered parking in front of the hotel. read more

The Good: We got a nice handicap room with lots of space and a nice bathroom/shower. Not a bad view, and check in was great. The night experience was 5/5 The Bad: So we had the loudest foreign tourist neighbors that woke us on 6AM. We found out that our phone was disconnected. Called on mobile to Front Desk, made a noise complaint, behavior continued, these are things walls. Also shower curtains were not washed as there were stains on the top area somehow. And no free breakfast? In the year 2024? 2/5 However staff was super friendly and got us coffee to make up for some of it! read more

The positive; very nice looking hotel. Great front desk staff. The negative: Even though hotel had very few guests, we were placed on highway side. I bring a soother and ear plugs and can usually make do. The noise was horrific. I slept 3 hours. Headed down for breakfast at the much marketed Bistro but all they were serving was coffee and muffins. We were headed to a tournament and had hoped to feed the kids beforehand with something healthy. Hotels usually do a much better job decreasing sound. And, it would have been super helpful if they had found a way to serve something healthy or at least alerted us to their inability to serve breakfast in the am. I'm not fussy and usually sleep well at hotels. I expected more. read more

Stayed at the courtyard Marriott for a wedding. Overall experience is 3/5. We had a two full/queen beds and only two towels were provided. Went downstairs to ask for a tooth brush asked for two and they said they only provide one. The front desk guy did not have the best attitude. Even when the bride herself was trying to get her guest checked in he was very rude and not professional at all. Overall clean hotel, smells great. Please do not rely on the Starbucks downstairs, they had a trainee and apparently they could only provide coffee with cream, no lattes or anything else. I had no intention of staying in NJ, but a long day with several mishaps had me on the Turnpike at midnight and not home in Boston! My phone was acting up, I didn't even know the hotel was here when I pulled off the road at 12:15am (and I wanted a Marriott so I could use points to pay). You could see their sign from 95 if you were headed south, but I was on the opposite side and never saw it until I was in the Hilton Garden Inn parking lot. It is down a side road, next to the Holiday Inn Express and Walmart distribution center. John the Night Auditor was very sweet, got me a key and I was asleep in 15 minutes. I had a very quick - but hot - shower in the morning and left at 7:15, John was still there and wished me a safe trip after thanking me for staying. read more

Horrible Unsafe Experience. Please note this review is after several attempts to get an update from the hotel via calls, and emails to specific individuals. My friend at 1AM were awakened by a key opening our hotel room door. The panic set in as there was no knock or announcement. We hopped up from the bed and immediately began to scream "GET OUT". Three men, with suitcases had entered our room. We screamed and began to walk towards them motioning them to get out. They backed out and we locked the door again. Physically shaking, horrified, embarrassed, etc I called the front desk to which I said three men have entered our room. The clerk says what room, we tell her and she says hold. She then returned saying, oh I'm sorry I gave them your room. I thought it was vacant. HOW. When we arrived we purchased snacks from the lobby, we wrote in a book our room number, we also had her charge the snacks to the room about 2 hours earlier. My thought was.. is this a setup, did she send them ? She offered no other words, she spoke as if it were a simple room service mixup at 1pm. Unsure whether it was safer to leave or stay we opted to stay as the men were still in the hall discussing their next move. She then calls our room to say, "hey can you just send the men downstairs" WHAT ?! I have NEVER had this happen. We passed on several brands in the area to stay at the Marriott, Courtyard and this was a terrible experience. That morning at check out we immediately asked to speak to a manager... no one available. We gave a play by play on the evening and the associates enjoyed the drama yet we're able to offer nothing further. To this day !!! We have not yet received a reply, call, or anything in response to this situation. read more

I travel for a living going from base to base working for the army. I stay in a lot of hotels. I'm on the road 90% of the year and know the difference between a good hotel and a bad one. This is a very good hotel. Yes they don't have the best amenities but everything is clean a repaired as soon as it breaks. The front desk staff is so helpful and caring. I will gladly stay here again. The hotel has a bitro in the lobby that has reasonability priced delicious food. I won't lie, the beer is a bit pricey but most restaurants don't see cheap beer either. read more

This location is right off the highway, but signage is poor. I drove around for a bit trying to find it, definitely use navigation. We walked in and made a reservation, which was seamless and staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The reason for the 3-star rating is because there was a banging (like pipe) sound that started early in the morning. Loud enough to be disruptive and wake us. It was nothing in the room and didn't seem to come from a room beside our location. For ease and convenience, I'd recommend the location. It's located at the end of a road, so it's not noisy from traffic. read more

Very disappointing experience. My first two nights my air conditioner was out and it was very uncomfortable. I was finally moved to a different room after multiple requests. My new room had a dirty toilet. I ended up spending 11 nights at this hotel and my room was never serviced. I don't expect clean sheets every day as I don't change my sheets at at home every morning. The hotel is bery pretty, the rooms are very good, the gym is very well equiped for a hotel. They have indoor pool and hot tub as well. Out back a very nice firepit that you can hang and all. However the one very important thibg for me they do not have, which is a complementary breakfast, i rather have that than a cute trendy bar that will sell me some overpriced food. Of course to each their own and i wont take that away from the people that like to purchase it. However i think that it is a nice touch to have some complementary breakfast. Overall to me it is a nice hotel however i rather look for the amendities that i like, so i would only stay there if i have no other choices really. Pity, and i am pretty sure most hotel stayers would deffinetly not turn down a nice complementary breakfast if that is one of the things provided, pulling more clients to the businesse. read more

I have stayed at this location about 6 or 7 times and they are always so friendly. One time, my partner called in and askwd if they could lay out my room with wine and stawberries for when I arrived. The concierge made it a point to coordinate everything and had both my partner and I very satisfied with the outcome :) The foyer of the hotel is very modern and the rooms are always spotless. The food at the cafe is fantastic and the back patio with the fire pit is beautiful. I really enjoy coming to this location! read more

Really frustrating that a hotel frequented by business people can't execute on business basics: Only One of two computers can access a web browser. I tried to use the only computer that did but it was hogged midday by a kid. For hours. I asked to use their fax machine, was told it's been broken forever. The clerk at the desk when I arrived was unfriendly and barely competent. She couldn't understand I wanted to use my company cc# and not mine. She kept telling me I was " prepaid". The rooms at the Marriott were fine but the service was an absolute mess. I got there on a Sunday night and had an easy check in process and was able to order dinner from the bistro but after that it all went downhill. I arrived at 9:28 on Monday morning (thinking the breakfast was open until 10) and everything was completely put away. When I asked if I could grab a yogurt because there was two minutes left she told me that I couldn't and it was already closed. Hm okay that's a bummer especially when other places offer free breakfast. I then proceeded to go back on Tuesday and witnessed an entire fight that broke out between two workers. While I waited 10 minutes patiently at the check out and the two workers argued in front of everyone and not acknowledging me, I finally walked away. Please help your bistro. read more

Stayed here for a family get together the front desk staff was really nice and helpful at check in they tried their best to accommodate us. And was quick when we needed something But the housekeeping was trash and the location and shape of the building was not good. First the housekeeping staff never came to service my family members room but I caught one of the housekeepers having a full sit down conversation with one of the regular residents in there room. I had to ask for towels and cloths and sit my trash outside which took a long time for them to empty. The hotel building looks like it was a motel Once upon a time the guest looks like they are regular residents and the hotel sits all the way on a dead end of Sketchy and shady street. The back of the hotel looked like a pig sty. If this hotel got rid of the shady guest and lazy housekeepers and did a full renovation it would be fine read more

My stay was an absolute nightmare! My family and I were waking up to bites all over our bodies. We complained to the staff and they offered no help as we couldn't prove it was because of bedbugs. The next morning, we caught a live bed bug and brought it to the manager for proof and still they were inconsiderate and came up with every excuse not to refund us our money back.We had no choice but to cut our stay short and left very unsatisfied. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the high prices they charge, you would think they will be able to keep up with health codes and standard. It's not worth the headache and unsanitary conditions. The fridge also did not work and they didn't offer any trash bags for the cans in the room. read more

I'm not sure why this isn't showing up on Yelp, but it's your typical Marriott. It has the standard layout with the Bistro restaurant for breakfast and dinner and they serve alcoholic beverages as well. The room is very nice. Warmly decorated and quite modern. The work area has four outlets by the desk area which is great as a lot of older hotels only have one or two. The bathroom is very nice with a glass doored shower and plenty of room for your toiletries. Layout is a little funky too with a wall between the the sink and toilet. Instead of a closet, there is an closet type armoire that has a shelf for shoes or accessories and also has the ironing board and iron. The TV is flat screen so this is nice and modern as well. View from my room is alright, you see some of the roof, but beyond that it mostly farm fields around here. One of the better Courtyards I have stayed in. Next time I'm in the area for business I will certainly be back. Good stuff, deserving of 5 stars in my opinion. read more

Traveling across the U.S. we tend to stay with a 4,5 star hotels but this one was oddly the worst of the worst. This was our 4th night in a Marriott...we totally understand the Covid19 precautions but in order to get one clean towel this hotel demands the guests bring to the front desk their dirty towel in order to exchange for a clean towel. We're not requesting a big hug at the door , just clean towels. Front desk is outrageous loud, rude, arrogant. Unprofessional and totally unreasonable. Extremely confrontational with no reason to be that way. When I called the night before the same person gleefully stated "due to Covid19" singing praises "we don't do room service and restaurant/bar closed" oh well I guess thank you is in order...for that info?! When did disappointing guests make you so happy! We were good with it we ordered and picked up our food elsewhere we did not mind but when we needed a clean towel..... figure it out yourself.....thank you Arne Sorenson and J.W. Marriott I would hope new training is in order for this to change by this general manager and her sidekick. read more

Stayed here Nov 1-3, 2013 and even though there were problems, I'd definitely return and recommend it to others. The hotel is lovely- the lounge area is great. There's no complimentary breakfast, but instead there is a sandwhich counter type deal with a small menu to buy things from. I strongly preferred this to some stale pastries and scary looking eggs. The booths were comfy and had a private TV in them, so that definitely helped with the hungry kids waiting for food. I checked into a room with a shower stall and asked if I could get a room with a bathtub instead- I was traveling with my 1 1/2 year old and 3 year old and they moved me immediately with no issue whatsoever. The room was large and comfy! When I returned on Saturday night at 10:00 pm after having left at 9:30 that morning, I found that my room hadn't been cleaned. I had two pretty sleepy little ones and didn't mention it until I checked out. I also mentioned that even though someone came to our room on Friday night to check the hot water situation, it was still severely lacking the whole stay. The manger apologized immediately and if I had booked directly through the hotel, most likely would've comped me a night right there on the spot. The reaction was the perfect way to handle a less-than-pleased customer and if I'm back in the NJ area, I will definitely stay here again! Super convenient location too. read more

Apparently if your a minority at this particular location your incidental hold on your card is the the whole price of the stay additional. According to the GM Ryan Kunde how's whole time changed once a young African American male walked into check in. Suddenly the incidental rate went from 20 dollars to 120 dollars. I wonder if the owner knows that this is common practice. When questioned as to how the incidental rate changed suddenly compared to just a night ago he said its standard practice. His customer service skills are extremely lacking and his condescending tone towards a loyal customer is unbecoming. read more

The worst hotel stay by far. I stayed here a couple of years ago and was grossed out by the bug infestation during the oct time frame but they discounted the room and gave us free breakfast but did not return the following year. Decided to take another chance this year as there is not a whole lot of options in the area and I have always liked the Marriott. I also assumed they would have corrected the issue. To my disappointment that did not happen. It was not as bad but I don't expect to spend my hard working dollars to worry about where I will find the next bug and I also had young kids to worry about. Not only did we have this issue but the service in the bistro was horrible and slow. We were the only people there and it took forever to get the food and they got my moms eggs wrong and we sent it back to just get it wrong again. We just landed that morning and was exhausted and wanted it to be over. Make sure you clearly ck your bill when you leave because speaking to someone on the phone and having them tell you you won't be charged for something is not enough. I got charged $150 damage fee for a cabinet door that got pulled off the hinge. It was cheap particle board!! The manager Iona Olsen emailed me not addressing the many calls I made and complaints to the front desk but falsely stated that they hAd to call me multiple times. She was not even around during my stay. Not once did i get to speak with a manager during my stay. Needless to say i will never stay at that location and will hold off on giving my money to the Marriott in the future. read more

Stayed here 12/8/14 and had a pretty great experience. It's your typical Courtyard. Very modern, clean, standard foyer and lounge, Bistro, etc. I got into my room and noticed that the floor was vibrating. I looked around and right outside my window was the vents from, I guess, either the kitchen or the laundry room and they were vibrating the entire room. I tried sitting at the desk and my laptop buzzed on the desk. I tried sitting in the chair and couldn't get comfortable. It even shook the beds. I went back to the front desk and they switched my room immediately. They said they've never gotten a complaint about that before, which I find hard to believe. Either it's a new problem or they've had people complain before. They treated me very well and switched my room. I always mention this about Courtyards... I hate the Bistro. I think the food selection is terrible and there isn't a single thing on the menu that excites me. I would prefer a complimentary breakfast simply for the ease and quickness. My family didn't have a good experience at the hotel this weekend. Let's start with what was good first, though, so people who read the reviews don't think this is just a gripe session. The hotel is very clean, and generally the staff is friendly, especially the girl who was manning the Starbucks counter the evening we were there. She's like a goodwill ambassador for the hotel. We were having a 13th birthday pool & pizza party for my son there. We reserved 3 rooms, and told them well in advance what we were doing, and at no point were there any negative comments and/or restrictions directed towards us by whoever booked the reservations. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk, the clerk advised that she needed a credit card "for incidentals". Not a big deal, some hotels do this, but she then informed us that the hold for each room was going to be $100. Since this amount on 3 rooms would essentially tie up my money ($300) for several days, I expressed that I'd not heard of credit card holds for that amount, and asked for a hotel manager, who of course was unavailable. We then asked to see something in writing that said the CC hold would be $100, and again, the clerk could not provide it. We then called the next closest Courtyard (in Mt Laurel) who informed us that their policy is to put a hold in the amount of $25 on your card, a difference of $75 per room. Clerk at this location told me it was policy, nothing she could do, so I tied up $300 on my card. I had to pick up party food & was gone about an hour, and when I got back the clerk told me there'd been an error, and that she removed the hold. No apology or further explanation..........OOOOOOOOOOOKAY......... The kids arrived for the party as we sat in the lobby. My ex wife and her significant other, as well as me, and mine. It was a coed party, so the boys would have one room, the girls another, and my ex and her SO, who would supervise overnight. The girls hadn't arrived yet, but the boys wanted to change so they could get ready for the pool, and went upstairs. It was at that point that another woman from the front desk walked over to us and handed us a slip that contained the hotel "rules", and said that the boys couldn't walk the halls without adult supervision, which wasn't the case, since they were heading upstairs to change. SOOOOOOOOO, I headed upstairs to supervise the change, and interestingly enough, not one of them was walking the halls. It's funny how the hotel has THESE rules in writing, but nothing about their credit card hold policies. I suppose that says more about the clientele that typically stays there. More about that in a moment. We had 2 adjoining rooms, and once we determined that none of the girls were staying overnight (which we expected), we then told the boys that they could take the 2 adjoining rooms, which meant that each kid would have his own bed. They were thrilled. Again, the rooms were clean, and along with talking with them about keeping the room clean, we told them about the grumpy woman at the front desk who gave us the "rules", and we asked them to make sure to keep the noise at a reasonable level. We then sat down with the kids to snack on pizza & wings, as well as chips, pretzels and a few other things before deciding to head down to the pool. We got down to the pool with the boys, and then the girls, who had arrived late since they had a basketball game they were participating in at their school. It was about 7:15 when we got there. On the way down we also saw a family coming in with several kids who ranged in age from about 4 to 9. The mom seemed like she knew one of the women at the front desk, like perhaps they were friends outside of the hotel. At any rate, at around 8 pm, the family with the kids (minus the mom, just the "father") also came down to the pool. We mentioned to our boys that since younger kids were there, they might not want to be as active in the pool area (no cannonballs or anything that might hurt the younger kids). While the younger kids were well behaved too, we weren't ready for what happened next. One of those kids was sitting at the edge of the pool, and all of a sudden, VOMITED right into the pool. Now, they could have turned their head and puked OUTSIDE the pool, but NO, they decided to deposit this right into the water. We immediately told our kids to get out of the pool. It looked like the pool party portion of my son's party was over at 8:45, thanks to a little boy who chose the wrong direction to vomit in. Interestingly enough, those young kids remained in the pool. In fact, the dad got out of the Jacuzzi, and dove into the big pool where the kid puked as we were leaving. Since my son's pool party was essentially over, we went back up to the room for cake (accompanied by 4 adults, so as not to incur the wrath of the front desk). We stayed here on Nov 14,2014 with a large group. The rooms seemed clean, however upon waking up in the am we found a dead bedbug in my sons bed. We reported it to the front desk and a manager accompanied me back to my room, where we flipped the mattress and found more live bedbugs. They moved our room and comped our stay.. So we thought? On our way home we looked up our bank app and it showed that we had not only been charged, but over charged!!! They refused to offer us documentation that we had bedbugs which we asked for to cover in case we incurred any expenses with bugs at home. Very poor senior management! Very clean, very comfortable, very courteous staff. The pool is open late, we never had to wait for safe shuttles to and from Sesame Place - and I miss those comfy beds and soft fluffy pillows!!! We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed both. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast buffet, and the jacuzzi is cold but everything else was so nice and stress-free that all in all we highly recommend and we'll be back! read more

Got the last room available at 3am during a bad snowstorm which had the turnpike almost impassible and our windshield wipers stopped working. Super nice staff (it was a gentleman on Valentine's Day night) worked to get us a room fast. Though other hotels I called were full, I'm grateful we ended up here. New, clean, and lots of accommodations for coming in late night (there's a market in the lobby for snacks, beer, toiletries). Other hotels in the area looked pretty dumpy. I had to fly to NJ for a family emergency & needed a hotel close by. After much research online I decided to go with this hotel. I am more than happy to review this place. The hotel is very clean & quiet. The lobby is nice, the colors are vibrant & inviting. Their concierge is also very nice & polite. They have a great little working area equipped with computers and printers FREE of CHARGE off to the side of the lobby. There is an interactive screen on the wall with up to date weather & news as you go to the elevators. They also have a fitness center and an indoor pool and jacuzzi. They carry Starbuck's coffee and a full bar in the evening. They don't have a full service restaurant but you can order sandwiches & such during certain times. The room itself was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was also a good size. You had your own ironing board & iron, fridge, coffee maker, & hairdryer in the room. Housekeeping did a great job as well. The best part for me was that there was free wi-fi thru out the entire hotel!! I think the only downfall is they don't have transportation to Philadelphia airport. You have to reserve a shuttle thru a different company. But I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially given the circumstances and I will be staying there again next month. read more
